best carpet installers we have ever employed-very experienced and professional

My wife and I bought a house this month and the carpet is in a terrible situation. My friend referred Andy's 5-Star Flooring to us, we called the company and made the appointment for the measure. Mike came to the house at the second day and we had a great conversation. The next day, we dropped by the office and Mike showed us different material options with pros & cons, everything went very well. Interestingly, we went to Home Depot later that day and found out Home Depot had a promotion for free installation so that the total cost would be cheaper. We noticed Mike that we might switch to Home Depot. Mike patiently explained to us about why their high-quality service worth every cent and frankly advised us to read more reviews for both options. We spent some time to do a little more research and got to know that Mike was right. We then stuck with Mike's company and they conducted the work efficiently. When we came back to the house to check the work 2 days later, the carpet and floor looked just GORGEOUS! My wife and I were so happy with the work! Thanks Mike and Andy's 5-Star Flooring!

Great. They did a good job and it looks terrific. They are a little difficult to reach, but a couple extra phone calls was a small price to pay. They were cheaper than the other quote I received, so it was worth calling a couple more times. More expensive than I was anticipating paying, but with the difficulty of finding workmen in the area, still a decent price.

The subfloor was badly stained with pet urine. Andy's removed all of the old carpet and pad. He sealed the subfloor, installed pad and carpet. The home is odor free. Couldn't be happier. Quick service and price.

They did an excellent job. I think overall they did very well. There's always a few snags here and there and then the kind of contractor work you have done, but minor things, dates, and things. I would use them again; maybe a different salesperson, but the company yes.

The sales person who visited my house and provided the estimate was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable in giving me an overview of material and carpet options. He had a ready answer for all my questions and was prompt about answering follow up details about the job and the estimate. The work crew were efficient and did great work; the final result looks and feels fantastic. They also had a solution ready for pet urine presence that had soaked through to the subflooring. There was a minor snafu with calculating the material square footage and the dining room could not be completed until the following week. They were upfront about the error and quickly remedied the problem. The only issue is I had to reach out to them for details on the issue and rescheduling instead of being contacted promptly by the sales office when the error was discovered. Otherwise the experience was pleasant, professional, and satisfying.

Amazing service and pricing here. I looked at Carpet Liquidators and several other large companies and these guys beat them all hands down in terms of price. Plus the service was incredible. You should always check with these guys as they were able to find the exact same carpet and save me several thousand dollars on previous estimates because the did not over estimate the wastage on the carpet that was needed. Be careful as many companies add on 2-300 extra square feet to boost their revenues when they don't really need to. 5 star was honest and resourceful in how they estimated. I will use them again and refer them to my friends.

They fit me in their schedule pretty quickly and completed the job in 2 days. They made recommendations appropriate for my budget and for the appropriate bathroom flooring due to it being a "wet" or moist room. There were some issues after completion and they came out and took care of them. The second time I identified an issue they weren't as responsive and it took a couple weeks but they did take care of it to my satisfaction.

The people were very helpful. I was remodeling and lots of decisions needed to be made. They were patient as I worked through issues and very helpful with helping me to pick colors.

Had a couple of quirks with original sub contractor but they replaced contractor and got everything fixed to my satisfaction. Final job came out perfect. Andy was very professional and he even came out to follow up on workers to ensure that we were satisfied with the work being done.

They came in for an estimate, but never provided one -- even after being reminded multiple times by phone and emails. Each time, they said that they are interested in the job and promised to get back soon, but never kept the promises. Terrible customer service!

Excellent customer service. Salesperson was very knowledgeable and helped us pick out the perfect carpet for our house. Installation crew was punctual and did an amazing job installing the carpets in two days and cleaned up after the work was performed.

This was a big deal purchase. It turned out beautifully. The person they sent out, I assume he was not one of the owners, was a young guy and he was good. He did good work. There were no problems whatsoever. I paid the company some money because I asked them to do a couple of things that were not covered by the offer. Other than that I don't consider that anything bad. I would say they were fine. I paid them a little additional to install a few extra things. Their price was reasonable. I think they were very responsive. He did not come at the time he said he was going to but he called me and said he had gotten hung up on a job just before mine, but he would be there. His professionalism was very good.

The whole transaction was very smooth and there were no hiccups or unexpected delays. During my measuring appointment, the salesman, Eric, seemed rushed and didn't take much time to explain different product options. Luckily I really liked one of the samples he brought, but it may be worth going into the showroom if you have more specific tastes. Eric was very prompt with the quote and there were no extra or unexpected charges. Installation went well and I am very happy with the way the carpet looks and feels in my home.

All went extremely well and has been one of the few home improvement jobs were we didn't have many surprises. Everything went as planned and installation went very well and looks great. Eric and team were very professional. I would highly recommend them.

They came in for a estimate but never provided one despite asking them multiple times. If they don't want to do the job, they should not have accepted the appointment and wasted my time.

Sales The sales staff was A+, very responsive and excellent communication throughout the process. They were able to order all of the product, regardless of whether or not it was present on the showroom floor. Knowledgeable, without being pushy in one direction or another. I can't say enough positive things about the sales experience. Install As with any large scale job, installation was not without its challenges. The installers were prompt, and did a fantastic job installing all of the product. They were highly experienced and offered a number of suggestions along the way that ended up working perfect. Bottom line, a quality LOCAL business that provides an exceptional level of customer service. Any issues that may arise are dealt with in the most professional, consumer first way. I would not hesitate to use 5 Star for any future project regardless of scope and size.

Jess and his assistant arrived just a few minutes late. I was surprised at the amount he quoted me. It was at the high end of the over the phone estimated range. Jess said that's what his boss said to charge. So why didn't he just give me that quote over the phone if he didn't need to see it? We had moved a bulk of the furniture ourselves so Jess didn't have much to move. There were two exceptionally heavy items which he and his assistant managed to carefully move and move back. They vacuumed up the loose carpet fibers and took away all of the trash. The results look good.

I had a great experience. George is very professional. There are a few issues in the whole process, but he went out his way to help solve the issues quickly. For example, we found a product we like, but they don't carry it. He tried all different ways to find an alternative with a cheaper price. Another example is we found out that the product we ordered takes a longer time to arrive. He managed to get a better one quicker and kept the same price. The last example is that we are running of time, he scheduled the installation from 6:30 in the morning and managed to finish the job in time. Overall, great experience. I am very satisfied.

First being a female single homeowner you want to do research companies before you move forward with a major project. I researched 5Star flooring and opted to call after several positive customer reviews. Dave Trainor met me at my home for consultation. He was personable, knowledgable and not the pushy salesman. I choose several floor finishes and was emailed a week later with 3 bids. I was quite pleased that all bids came within my budget. On the install day my floor installer Harry came on time at 8 am. Once the work was complete I felt as though my home had been transformed. Harry craftsmenship superb. I will hire Andy's 5 star flooring once I am ready for round two.

The work was scheduled and completed within a week. The installer was punctual and quick. The finished product looks beautiful. I highly recommend 5-star flooring and would use them in the future.

The new carpet looks great, and the installation process was absolutely flawless. The crew arrived on time, identified themselves, kept the home clean, and worked without a break until the job was done. Please thank them for us for a job truly well done!

They were very good on help selecting and purchasing carpet to meet our needs. The price was good. They sub out the install and that didn't go so well. They left scratches on the woodwork and gaps against the walls.

Ordered carpet and laminate flooring, but a week later was informed that the carpet color was not available. So I went to the store, took time off work to pick out new color and then they found out the color I originally picked was available after all. Then one week before I needed the laminate flooring installed, they found out that the laminate would not be delivered on time and offered for me to pick out another color. I cancelled the laminate floor, but kept with the company to install the carpet. Carpet installation looked good. Before carpet installation, there was a slight mix up with the price, but the company quickly sorted it out. After carpet installation, I was called a few weeks afterwards asking for payment when I had already paid the day after installation. Honest company, but not organized and I did not have a reliable delivery experience for their product.
