I worked with George and it was a great experience from start to finish. They are a reliable company and an honest outfit. They have years of experience under their belt and were very knowledgeable and helpful with selecting my pad and type and color of carpet. We are thrilled with everything about our new carpet. The installers were scheduled on two separate days as we had to move furniture around to accommodate the insulation. The installers arrived on time and did an excellent job. You can't find a seam anywhere. .They helped us move some of the larger furniture. They were polite and professional. I give Andy's 5 Star Flooring a 5 star rating overall rating and would certainly use them again.

They were easy to reach & would returned my calls rapidly. The installers they recommended were excellent! I received my floor when promised. I have already referred them to several of my friends. I would do business with them again.

The company sent a person to my house to accurately measure carpet. This person's measurement was 30% less than a common local carpet company (that advertised aggressively on TV for 65% discounts) and the carpet cost (per sq. ft.) was comparable to others. The guys to install showed up on time and performed the work in good quality. I will definitely go with 5-star again.

Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. No surprises and not a worry. Definitely will do business with Eric and the Team again. Wonderful Company and they know what customer service is !!

Andy came to my home twice (once for the Family Room and once for the living room). He had pre - selected a number of samples based on our phone conversation. I was very happy with the choices he made. I had a large selection to choose from. We discussed the pros and cons of the different types available and I felt very well informed. On install day, the installers moved the furniture and did a very good job. They kept me informed and fed my curiosity about what they were doing and why. I am very pleased with the service and the quality of the job done. I will use 5 star when I tackle the carpet in the bedrooms next.

We found them on Angie's List. The person that came out was Andy Anderson and the manager was Steve Boarman. They were very helpful in choosing the kind of material we needed. They were also very prompt in coming to measure and their quote was very reasonable. We looked up four other places and they were only the best. It was about 2,037 square foot. They did a good cleaning and we were very much satisfied with them.

5 Star was very easy to work with and up front with their pricing. Prices were posted on carpet samples in the showroom and an accurate estimate was given as soon as measurements were taken. Installation was scheduled at our convenience and was completed in one day. The installers moved our furniture from each room as they worked. The install was completed without problems and we are very pleased with the result.

I was in a bit of a time crunch, but Andy said he'd try to find someone to do the installation in my small window and he did! The carpet was installed the next morning, it was quick and professional. I am very pleased with them and will recommend them to all my friends!

5 Start Flooring did a good job in working with me for my carpet choices. They worked with you, came out to my home with samples, and agreed on a new carpeting.

I received a call from Eric promptly after I submitted my query through Angie's List. We made an appointment and Eric came to my home with vinyl flooring samples. He was very courteous and helpful. After I chose the vinyl, he measured the three rooms and hall. He was very helpful in saving me money by explaining pattern repeats to me so I could choose a pattern that would have the least waste. I also have a small closet, which he suggested I do in a remnant that I could choose at the showroom, also saving me money. He knew that cost was a big concern to me. A day or two later I received the final estimate via email, and we agreed on an installation date. 5 Star uses a contractor for installation, which I understand most flooring companies do, and I was concerned about that - would they do a good job, who would be responsible if they didn't, and what sort of demeanor would they have. I have had some pretty rough characters do work in my home, and I was hoping to avoid that! I need not have worried - Ivan and his helper were perfect gentlemen, very personable and professional. They did an outstanding job! If I have flooring needs in the future, I will definitely contact 5 Star again.

We visited the Bothell showroom and met with Dave on June 30th. He educated us on all the different carpet types and pads and their quality. We chose a mid to upper quality Stainmaster sample and set an appointment to measure the house. Dave was very professional and knowledgeable but at the same time he was quite personable and easy to talk to... a real person. We met with Eric on July 2nd for the home measurement. Eric also was very easy to work with and clearly knew the business quite well. We placed the order and were expecting to have installation within two weeks. Late the following week Eric called and indicated the carpet manufacturer would not be able to complete the order on time. He offered to bring out more samples right then (literally that minute) that were similar to what we chose before but might be available sooner. He really wanted to get a decision as soon as possible so he could get the carpet shipped from the manufacturer as early as the following Monday. Eric demonstrated right then he really cared about getting the job done right and completed on time. We knew we wouldn't have seen this level of concern from the cheaper guys. We picked a similar carpet that turned out to be in stock with the manufacturer and they shipped it on Monday as Eric wanted. The installation was set for 7/20. 5 Star contracted the installation to Karl Henderson and his team. They arrived on time and re-carpeted our entire house in about eight hours (about 1900 SF), including removal of the old carpet, and stairs with a bull-nose finish. The installers were very careful to match all the seams to the carpet pattern - something I didn't even notice until they pointed it out to me. They were all quite friendly, professional and very hard-working. The job was done before 5pm on 7/20 and we started moving in on 7/21. Almost a month in the house now, we have seen no problems with the carpet or installation. 5 Star Flooring is aptly named. Their products are fantastic and installation was perfect. We highly recommend them to anyone considering a flooring job. Thank you 5 Star!

Although it took longer than they expected due to the numerous cuts required, the job progressed smoothly. They removed the toilet, washer and dryer, then began installing the hardwood. There were dozens of small cuts due to three doorways, numerous pipes (it is an older home) and a bathtub. They cut carefully and the installation came out wonderful. They cleaned up well. A supervisor checked on the work, and the sales representative checked as well. He also tightened up some rug edges for us at no charge.We will certainly use them for additional work down the road.

From my first contact with Andy, the owner, I got a good impression of the company. Everything that followed confirmed that initial impression. George came to the house to measure the area and suggest carpet possibilities. Later we went out to their showroom in Bothell where Dave showed us more samples of carpet and padding choices. Both men provided excellent guidance on both carpet and padding choices as well as color selection to go with our newly painted walls and trim. Neither one pushed us to buy something more expensive than we were comfortable with, which we really appreciated. In the end, we did select both carpet and padding that were somewhat more expensive than we had initially contemplated, but only because we felt that these choices were a very good value in terms of longevity of style and color as well as durability, so we were very comfortable with what we picked. Installation also went very well. Our open-style stairs are very challenging to carpet well, but the men did an excellent job. The entire job was done very professionally, with attention to details like building up the tack strip in a couple of places so that there would not be a dark shadow line where the trim had been placed a tiny bit high on the wall. They were very courteous and left everything cleaned up and looking great.

The installers were very efficient.

Andy came out with samples so we could view it in situ in daylight. We had a rough idea of what we wanted from shopping previously. His estimate was the same as 2 other bids for the exact same carpet except his pad was a zero VOC premium pad so I I got a better value. His 2 installers were professional, courteous and fast. They got the job done in about 4-5 hours and the results are excellent. Andys measuring was just right -I had just a perfect amount of remnant for repairs for when my cats do their thing on the stairs.

Through its sub-contractor, 5 Star installed wall to wall carpet in an unusually shaped room of ours. We met with Andy from 5 Star, chose carpet onsite and--hoping to avoid any problems--specifically delayed installation until his favorite installer (Ivan) was available. I have read the rave reviews from others on Angie's list before picking 5 Star but that wasn't my experience when it comes to customer service and follow-thru. I was the one who, in the week of the install, took the initiative to contact Andy to confirm the date and find out what time. I was the one who opened the door to find someone named Juan (not Ivan) with a piece of carpet, and an unmarked panel van with no documentation to show this was in fact the carpet we ordered. I called Andy who assured me that Ivan was "on the way" to our job. Juan, while nice, knew very little English and did not seem to know if anyone would be joining him. Given that the room has some unusual features and carpet is one of those "measure twice, cut once" kind of things, I was worried that if we had an install problem, it would fall into my lap. Juan cited two area that would be difficult and, again, given limited language skills, I couldn't tell if he feared that the install was going to be too much for him or not. So I called Andy again and left two more urgent messages on his cellphone to call me. I felt stranded and frustrated. I did not hear back from Andy until the next day. Favorite installer Ivan never showed up. And there were some problems I had with the installation that Juan simply could not summon up enough English to answer my questions; I eventually "self-addressed" my own concerns--how do you spell customer service again? To top it off, I get an emailed 5 Star invoice that expects full remittance without acknowledging our down payment. In the end, the carpet installation was OK with tweaking but the lack of contact and customer service from 5 Star means any future carpet needs will be handled elsewhere.

We visited 5-Star flooring several times to view their carpet and wood flooring samples. After selecting what we wanted installed, Eric came to our condo and provided us with a cost estimate to replace all of the carpet in our condo plus installing new hardwood flooring in our kitchen and entry way. He was on time, courteous and provided us with a detailed estimate for the work. Installers arrived on time and the work performed for both the carpet and wood flooring installation was excellent. Everyone was easy to work with and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with their services. We highly recommend this company.

I was in need of replacing some carpet quickly and called 5 Star Flooring since they had such good reviews. No one answered the phone when I called (during business hours) and I had to leave a message. I never received a return call.

They made it very easy to get an accurate estimate and choose the carpet I liked by coming to my home and bringing samples. The estimate was emailed to me the next morning, and was detailed and reasonable. After choosing to have 5 Star perform the recarpeting, I scheduled a date about 6 weeks in advance. As the date got nearer, I needed to change the start day, and they made the rescheduling easy. I chose to move furniture myself, so the installation was scheduled over 2 days, allowing time for moving in the evening. The installers were great: very considerate, efficient and quick. They finished my 1400 sq. ft. townhome in about 7 hours over 2 days. They vacuumed and cleaned up the area carefully afterwards. I am very happy with the service and with the carpet.

. I found the salesman to be helpful. I ordered the floor by giving him my measurements on paper. I am sure this helps them in case I mis-measured ( him having my original) They thought they had it in stock but of course, they did not have enough or something. It was a few weeks before it showed. He offered to have me come back to chose something else for a sooner install , but I was not ready to change my mind. We agreed on a date and time and the installer showed up precisely on time and spent 5 hours installing in 2 rooms. He did an awesome job. Every litttle cut around the tub and shower, hot water heater pad, and around the drain in laundry room and every single corner is perfect. We are used to do it yourself projects where results are not always what you would wish, so this was so nice. I recommend!!

5 Star Flooring (bothell) was highly rated by Angies List but i was hesitant to use them as they were a bit far away from Camano Isl. I got some local estimates and finally tried Five Star. It was no problem for them. Eric came out in the evening after we got off work. He had some samples with him but we later went to Bothell to see more. The folks at the store were very helpfull and let us take samples home.There estimate beat the others by a few thousand and from there we made the deal by phone. Our carpet choice had to be ordered and we were kept well informed about its status. The installer were very professionaland freindly. they arived at 8 am as promised and were done within about 5 hour. Everything was cleaned up and frankly they did a better job than the prior installers.

Where do you begin to expalin excellent!!! 5 star never missed a beat in their service or their commitment to doing the best job possible. I was never more pleased to be a part of Angie's list. We had checked out the flooring we wanted to use, and then tried to find the right company to do the installation. George Hollenbeck came to our home and looked at the two bathroom floors we wanted to replace. He checked everything out and then sent an estimate in just a few hours. It was very detailed and included everything we had asked for. The price was more than fair. 5 Star delivered even more in their service and patience in answering questions. George did absolutely everything he said he was going to do. He kept us informed as he worked to obtain the products and the proper sealer, set up the installation date and delivered the product a day early so that there would be no delay in the installation. The installers arrived right on time, protected our carpets, installed the floors, and stopped to get our opinion where there was more than one way to accomplish the installation. We are so pleased with the results. As we all do, we walked around after they left to check everything out. So far it is perfect in every way, and I would not hesitate to call on them for any other flooring we might want to install. I know I would not even have to comparison shop when dealing with them. They are completely trustworthy in every way.

We are very very happy with them. They were the best. They did it all fine. The job was all done in one day. They were very neat and clean. They are very nice people. I cannot say enough good stuff about them.

After our washing maching (the drum had rusted out) flooded the lower level of our split level home, I pulled the rec room and hallway carpet. After a few days of drying out and getting inpected for hidden water damage I began a search on Angie's List. The volume of reviews without any negatives convinced me to call 5 Star. Eric Britton came in, took measurements and listened to our wants. After Eric emailed pictures we were able to finalize a choice. The qoute was a bit of a shock but we hadn't bought flooring in 15 years or more so we realized we were going be surprised. The rec room was a hand wider than the standard linoleum roll and we chose a pattern that was made up of irregular shapes. Because of the precision required to match two runs the price was escalated accordingly. I did some of the prep work and got credited for it. I did not get quotes from anyone else as I was pleased with Eric's forthright manner the lack of a sales pitch. I do not know if the crew that arrived works exclusively for 5 Star or if they are contracted as needed. These two guys worked their fannies off and had the job completed in under 6 hours. The work was precise and professional, the seam is matched perfectly, both guys were polite and we are extremely pleased with the end result. I'd be proud to be associated with this crew and if 5 Star is smart, they'll keep these guys busy and well paid. Eric took pictures of the end result which I hope he will post as I moved stuff back in before I thought to take a few shots of my own. I would not hesitate to recommend 5 Star to anyone looking for flooring. We feel we got value for our money. Thanks Eric. Please thank your crew when you see them.
