1st Class Glass

Aside from having to order the specific size replacement, which took two weeks to arrive, the job went very well and we're happy with the result.

Sean was very accommodating to make sure that our project was completed to our satisfaction. His crew was awesome: If a problem came up, they brought it to my attention and asked how I wanted to proceed; they were knowledgeable; and worked efficiently....real pros.

They have not given me an appointment. I have phoned them with no response, I have e-mailed them with no response. How do I get my money returned?

What a fantastic experience! My windshield replacement (non-heated, front windshield for a Subaru) was not an emergency so I made an appointment 2 weeks out. Their response on the phone was great, the quote was fast and reasonable (especially since they come to you, which is so convenient), and the work was such high quality. I watched them replace the windshield, which was fascinating, and we had a great time chatting! I highly recommend 1st Class Glass for any glass needs you have. Great work, great people.

Quick to come out and take measurements of window to be replaced. Window was made and installed right on time. New window looks wonderful, and matches the other grid windows perfectly. Installation was very professional, and once job was done the area was left totally clean.

Sean was $100 less than the other bids we got for a windshield replacement. He worked with our schedule and came to the house to do the replacement, very happy with his work. We are hoping to use 1st Class Glass to replace some windows in our home now. Very happy so far with this company.

I purchased a Deal. Guys came out from First Class Glass and replaced my one window. They came in the time frame I was told, and were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They took out my old window and also took it with them. I rated the responsiveness as a C because the guy that I talked to said he would call me back and he always did, but not always when he said he would. He did drop off the screens for the window, that the makers should have included, and he did get me a better deal than the window maker wanted to give them initially.

It was perfectly fine. They were prompt and did a good job. They did everything well.

I bought two Angies list deal. In overall, it was a good experience. Sean is a professional, and he helped us a lot through the process. They do their job very well, but they are also busy folks. So my only recommendation is to manage your expectations about timings and communicate the deadlines if you are starting a time sensitive project. It will worth it though.

Sean and one other person came out and were very efficient in measuring all the windows. I believe they were in and out under 20 minutes, which worked great for me. I think they would have been great to use, but I got the impression they were very backlogged in work (which is a good thing). I chose another company, but felt that 1st Class Glass would have done an excellent job.

I purchased the Angieslist Big Deal from 1st Class Glass. I was contacted by owner Sean. He came on time for the measurement and said the new window pane would be ready in 2 weeks time. I was contacted again past the 2 weeks time. Sean explained the manufacturer had a big backlog after holiday season and delivered beyond the 2 weeks time. Although it is beyond his control, he decided to waive the remainder material cost from my bill to honor his words. I really appreciate his "old fashion way" of doing business: do what you say, and say what you do. The installation came smoothly. He went extra to do it on weekend to make up the time. He came on time and the installation took about half an hour. The new window pane is of much better quality than the old one: thicker glass and double sealed. I highly recommend 1st Class Glass and owner Sean for any window works.

It was a very difficult job, that was quoted at 3x the price by one company and refused outright by another. The window in question was very large (10 feet tall, 5 foot wide), and on the side of the house next to a steep drop. Sean was very careful to look at all the problems. He made sure to explain everything and to get the tenant's desire for the size/position of slider on the window just right.He was pleasant and had a real 'can do' attitude, as well as a good sense of humor about a rather dangerous job. The order was sent off to the factory and was ready when he said it would be. He and his crew put in the new window and it took just the amount of time he said it would. Tenant is delighted with it.

Went well. Sean was a stickler for getting the job just right and really put the time and effort into making it look good. He was very professional and i was impressed with how thorough he was in cleaning up afterwards.

They had to fabricate the window and remade all the screens new. Did a great job and very professionally done. The only reason they didn't get "excellent" on everything is that it took a week to get the new window and screens back in place and their price on the window seemed a little high. The new window and screens look great! I highly recommend them and would use them again.

They were quick to contact me and make arrangements to order and replace the broken glass. Service and communication were all positive. I would use them again.

Went well, showed up on time, got right to it. Did not take to long, cleaned up after themselves and they were gone.

Come on time to measure the window and provide estimate. Order the class immediately after agreeing on the work. The Glass arrive within a week and Sean come out to install it next day. Also, called 40 minutes before installation, I don't have to wait at home.

The windows were top quality and installation was fast. Some trouble with ordering, but the company accommodated the longer duration from purchase to installation with a discount.

Everything went fine except for the fact that the grid that was installed in the replacement section was off center. The provider offered to exchange it, but, because it still left the house accessible, we declined.

Delays in scheduling visit for estimate. Bought service for two windows through Angie's special but these bore no relationship to actual cost. Delays in getting work done due to problem with manufacturer. The discounted price due to delays but still feel another contractor could have done work more promptly and possibly at lower cost

They installed a factory certified windshield, including a new rubber seal and fixed some rust issues. Sean was very meticulous in his work and ended with helpful hints for protecting the new installation. He and his assistant were very personable and efficient.

Sean came out and gave an estimate and was willing to beat the price of other estimates. He also provided a lifetime warranty which was not offered with other providers. He conducted the service on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule. I hope my kids don't shatter any more windows but if they do, I'll call Sean :-)
