They did a super fantistic job! My kitchen looks brand new! I think the investment added a lot of value to the house overall. I received a call from them before they arrived to let me know they were on the way. This was very appreciated because they were on time and maybe even a tad early at 8:00am which I wasn't use to from previous contractors. When they arrived I showed them the job and after a few questions they had everything for set-up and got to work so quickly, they were already well started before I even asked if they needed anything further. They were focused and professional and finished the job plus a hallway and a second coat. If my husband and I had done this it would have taken us days to get done what they got done in one day. My husband and I painted most of the rest of the house, but the kitchen was complicated, needed sealing after some construction work and there was a lot of areas to prep around like cabinets and appliances. Cesar and the painters did a great job and we hope to use them again for the next paint job.

Due to the height of my ceilings, they would not be able to provide the service to the area.

Crew showed up right on time. The guys were very professional. I had originally ordered the special of 8 hours of work for $369. This included two painter, all the prep and tear down/clean. I was very pleased with the first eight hours, but, since the game room is so large, that was only enough time to put on one coat. I called up Cesar saying it looked great but unfinished, as you could see streak lines, due to only one coat. Cesar called back immediately, because he thought there were issues. I actually scheduled another slot with the same two painters. They came out and finished the work at at the regular rate of pay (50/hr/person) I spent the additional $850 to finish the job. I SHOULD have just let them keep all the prep work up and not remove it, as this would have saved my some time and money having them come back out. In all, they were great! Super nice lines, no drips or runs. I was very happy with them. I'm having them bid out the remainder of the house, at 5200 sq ft.

I haven't heard anything back from them. 11/20/14 - I was disappointed that they didn't do any prep work, and throughout the experience I didn't feel that they took my input seriously. I was suprised that they attempted to reinstall my curtains on backwards, and there were issues with very inconsistent painting on hardware of my cupboards, due to not being removed or being taped up, which is very unsightly. This problem is preventing some of my cupboards from closing, and I feel that they did not pay enough attention to detail. 11/25/14 - I called him last Friday and it was a very heated phone call. He said that it would cost money for them to come back out and fix the work. He wasn't interested in coming out at all to see what was done. I suggested that I send and email with photos, but he didn't want to talk about that. All he wanted to talk about was the time. To me that's not the issue. This was not even an adequate job. They didn't ask me about anything and they put things back the way they wanted. The workers didn't speak English so communication was very difficult. I would like to have my hinges cleaned.

He was in contact with me very quickly to set up a date. He called back to offer me an earlier appointment but that did not work for us so we stayed with the original date. Arrived before our 8 a.m. appointment. Explained everything they would do. Were very accommodating concerning how much furniture had to be moved which we really appreciated. Did a very good job, were attentive to clean up details and finished well ahead of the time-frame estimated. We are very happy with the results.

The person from Ceasar's was very responsive and accommodating. However, the room we need painted is 20' X 20' and has a 20ft. ceiling. It requires the use of scaffolding which the painting company does not have so we were not able to use it. Thank you for your help with this.

We arranged to meet at 10 am for an estimate. He never phoned to say he wasn't coming. When I phoned at 10:30, he just said "oh shoot - we'll have to reschedule". Obviously very busy with other clients, but if you're new, I wouldn't bother.

Update 1/10/2015: 1) Paint on back door is now PEELING OFF. Inadequate prep work. 2) Discovered a lot of over-spray on cedar deck do to inadequate drop cloths. 3) found paint smudges and splatter on 1st floor and 2nd floor windows ________________________________________________________________________________________________ C- grade. Very inexpensive but low quality and poor attention to details. Would not use again nor recommend. Perfect if you're flipping houses or for cheap rental property managers but not for homeowners. Four issues: 1) Thin coverage - 25% of main body paint left unused 2) Lousy paint job on doors with hasty masking with either undermasked or masking that extended too far. Parts of door were unpainted or overpainted and paint was on the glass or lockset or doorknob or strikeplates. 3) Overspray problems and paint on shoe tread tracked all over 4) Communication issues I picked Cesar because I wanted a small outfit where the owner/operator was on site and participating in the work with the crew. His quote was noticably cheaper than the other "A" rated Angie's list painters. Those quotes from others seemed unreasonably high since their was NO PREP work to be done. The house was newly resided so no scraping or caulking was needed and all the plants and obstacles were already moved away from the house to give free access. Cesar's brother, Carlos was the lead on the painting crew of 3 people. Cesar only dropped by infrequently and was never part of the painting crew. Cesar was out doing bids. The issue was that items communicated to Cesar were not passed on accurately or consitantly to Carlos. When he showed up I would have to explain my concerns again. My main issues are mostly with quality of painting. I believe he bought 16 gallons of paint for the main body color. About 4 of those 16 gallons were left over and not applied (3 gallons in a 5 gallon bucket and 1 additonal gallon in a gallon container). There were some pretty thin coverage areas. I pointed out some areas with NO PAINT and bare wood trim showing even after the second coat had been applied. I wish they had squirted a little more paint and gone a bit slower on the two coats. Somethings annoyed me too. Rolling the stain on the front porch is not a diffucult job. I would think it would be smart to sweep the porch first to get rid of dirt and debris since they were walking on it all day. They rolled the paint over a few pea sized pebbles and quite a bit of dirt. Then when they left they didn't leave any "wet paint" signs and a neighbor friend walked into the wet paint. This was par for the course. When squirting the main body color they didn't sweep the huge and obvious cobwebs. Now I have large painted spiders encrusted to the side of the house. They laid down the bare minimum of ground cloths and mostly relied on paper masking. This resulted in overspray on the cedar deck, the front porch and on the concrete. THe painter saw the obvious overspray and repainted the porch stain over it BUT failed to see the less obvious overspray which is plainly visible as you approach the house. Use of ground cloths would have prevented this. Masking with tape was also done too fast. When I removed the masking on the door hinges I pulled up some tape that was on the back door. This left a nice triangle of white on a dark burgundy door. Masking around the lockset and door knob was also loose and a lot of burgundy wicked onto the brass. This required me to remove the lockset to clean up all the dried paint. The initial painting of the doors was a disaster. They applied the wrong burgundy. We had specified the paint number. They said they thought they had Burgundy left over from another job and they could use that to save some money. They didn't check the paint code number to see if it matched. It was the wrong burgundy and was applied very poorly. It looked like it was rolled on with a thick nap roller and was very bumpy on one door. On the other door the paint beaded up and didn't cover smoothly (lack of prep work). The second coat was too heavy and it dripped all over. When requested, they did come out and sanded the door down and repainted the door with the correct burgundy. But drip marks and roughness of original coat were still visible even after the light hand sanding. One door had the frame/brickmold painted the same burgundy (as requested). Another door had the frame/brickmold painted the white trim color and the door burgundy. Really? The paint was also tacky for over 72 hours. This resulted in some scraped paint that will require us to touch up later. Lastly, they spilled a few ounces of paint on the lawn. No problem, mistakes happen... except they walked on it and tracked white trim color onto the front walkway, driveway and back deck. Sloppy.

I discovered Cesar and the Painters from an Angie's List coupon for an exterior painting package covering 1600 sq/ft for $1299. When I purchased the coupon on 8/15/14, it wasn't until 8/27/14 when I finally was able to get a hold of Cesar to schedule an appointment to get an estimate. I was very discouraged how difficult it was to contact Cesar and almost requested a refund. However due to Angie's List positive reviews for Cesar and the Painters, I decided to at least stick it out to get an estimate. Cesar arrived early for our 8/29/14 8am walkthrough. He was able to explain how the coupon deal made his team very busy and he apologized for the difficulties getting in touch. When I received his estimate, it was similar to other estimates I received. The coupon was really not a coupon at all, more of an advertisement for Cesar's company. In any case, it worked and I accepted his bid. I liked Cesar's professionalism and honesty when talking about the work that would need to be executed. I also relied on Angie's List reviews. His team, lead by manager Juan, arrived promptly on 9/22/14 at 8am. I had purchased the required paint the night before however it was not necessary since they were only pressure washing. They were done pressure washing the house in less than an hour. Cesar's team waited a couple days for the house to dry before beginning painting. They arrived two days later to begin caulking and painting the first coat. During this time it started to rain and caused a bunch of issues with the caulking and paint. Cesar's team waited a few more days for better weather. When they arrived, they came back and re-caulked all the seams. I had to leave for the weekend when they were going to finish painting. When I arrived from my trip, the finished paint did not look as well as I had hoped. I scheduled my finaly walkthrough with Juan. When He arrived, I identified the areas that concerned me. He was more than willing to fix the issues. One of the major issue I had was with the body of the house. You could see the spray strokes from the paint gun. It turns out I order a paint with a low sheen and not a flat paint which caused this issue. Cesar was more than willing to repaint the body of the house with the only additional cost of buying the correct paint. This was a major project since his crew had to re-tape the entire house. After I purchased the correct paint, they did an excellent job taking care of applying the last coat of paint. The exterior of my house looks perfect now. I was nervous when I arrived from my trip and saw the initial finished project when I could see the spray stokes from the paint gun. I was amazed and very pleased how Cesar and Juan handled the situation. They are true professionals. Cesar was very responsive to my phone calls and emails. I gave him a B for responsiveness due to the initial issues I had in August. I also gave him a B in price since it was comparable to other offers I had despite having a coupon.

He was on time, polite and professional. We have chosen not to move forward with the project because the bid was going to be $2036 above what we paid Angie's list to remove the popcorn ceiling.

Cesar was very professional and came over and emailed me his estimate. I had estimates from 4 others though his was not the lowest I felt good after chatting with him about expectations of the job. His team came early in the morning and prepped the exterior by taping and covering all exposed areas. Prior to this the team did come and pressure wash the exterior. Cesar was available over the phone to talk to me and came regularly to check the work. I was picky on the color of the door and even though I chose it out of the samples, while painting he instantly knew I would not approve of it and called me to come check it out. He personally went and got the color that was more suited to my liking (a darker shade) and applied it at no extra cost. They were thorough, cleaned up after themselves and was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely hire them again.

Cesar and George were great! Did a nice job, kept everything nice & tidy. Very friendly and professional. Would definitely use them again.

They did what they said would do, The price wasn’t cheap but it was fair

Cesar was excellent at communicating with us; he kept in touch and up to date as well as responded to our questions quickly. He and his crew are thorough, friendly, and prompt and did a phenomenal job in every aspect. I was not expecting to have it done so quickly and was quite pleased with each step they took and actually relieved to have it done in such a timely manner. I have painted my house all my life and consider myself a very finicky person so thought my jobs were great............not the case; Cesar showed me up; not a spot of color was overlapping anywhere! A great job was done by this fine company. I most definitely will keep them in mind for future jobs and recommend them to others.

Cesar was very professional and timely in his responses to our inquiry for a bid on our painting. We needed exterior painting on one side of our house which had been severely sun bleached. He came out the same day to bid the job, gave a timely and very fair price on the bid ($1200 for 2 story house, pressure wash, caulk seems at joints of Hardy Plank boards, paint gutters, matched paint with care, taped and masked off, clean up afterward, etc). His team worked very quickly and efficiently. We would definitely use his company again!

It was just an estimate. We also got quotes from other providers and decided to go with another company.

I purchased a Big Deal for $1299 for an exterior house painting package. I had him come out for an estimate, and he was very friendly, but the estimate was more than twice the amount of the deal I had purchased.

Fantactic experience. Had anxiety with the disruption of painters. Cesar and his painters came in and were very mindful of my personal space. They took the level of service way beyond my expectations. Cesar understand the value and the need of consistent communication. He was very patient while colors were being selected and did not hesitate or show frustration when a change was made. Cesar was mindful of my schedule and accommodated to the situation to the best of his ability while focused on completing the task of delivering quality work. A highly reccommend Cesar and his Painters . I have no reservation on using his services in the future

Cesar came to my and did pressure washing first then his team did exterior painting on my house. Cesar responded to all my calls and that was good since I hate it when most contractors can disappear on you and you never know what's going on. Cesar was on schedule and within my budget. He made sure I was happy with the job and I was. Yes, I would hire them again!

Cesar and his crew did a great job--they were punctual, friendly and thorough with the sanding and painting job. Cesar pointed out the rotted boards on our deck and he was able to do the repairs. I was impressed by the fact they'd stay long hours to finish the job and that Cesar was doing much of the work himself. Highly recommended!
