Description of Work: I couldn't determine why a breaker wouldn't reset. Brett did an admirable job of trouble shooting circuitry to figure out the problem. He's busy, we had to schedule something several days in advance, but I'd use him again in a heartbeat!

Description of Work: Replaced dryer electrical outlet. Got his name from Angie List! Great service will use again and made a referral to a friend already.

Description of Work: They did not finish although they promised to do so. They were paid promptly but did not finish because of a conflict we had with a general. Also, the electricians that completed their work had difficulty understanding the decisions they made. Many items needed to be redone. I begged them to finish up in lieu of starting over with someone new but they kept us waiting.

Description of Work: rewired where the internet was placed in house. changed controller for fire position, took out some infloor 110 plug ins put in some in wall plug ins, and checked all fuse usage

Description of Work: Britt helped us put in a new outlet which we've been wanting for awhile. But he also gave us his ideas on some other electrical issues. He's great to work with. We highly recommend him!

Description of Work: Britt arrived ahead of schedule and was professional and personable. Replaced two old outlets and installed 2 new gfi outlets and since we had 20 minutes remaining he replaced a few other outlets that were loose. Would definitely hire again!

Description of Work: We had a smoke detector up 18' in our vaulted ceiling chirping for three days and no ladder tall enough to reach it. Britt was only was the 8th electrician I called. Wish I would have relied on Angie's List first and called him right away. He answered promptly, arranged his schedule to get out to our house the same day, took extra measures to find a extra tall step ladder for the task. We also needed some possible rewiring in our kitchen. We had too many amps on one circuit. Britt trouble shot the issue and found our most cost effective solution would be to change to the new lower watt, energy effecient bulbs now available on the market.

Description of Work: I called Brit last minute on Tuesday evening. He was on his way home. I explained the problem we were having at my 86 yr old aunts house. He turned around and came right over. He did some trouble shooting and found the problem. One of the two main breakers was not performing properly. Because my aunts house is over 60 yrs old, the particular breaker could be very difficult to find. The other option was the possibility of replacing the entire panel. He did everything he could to locate the dinosaur breaker. It was used but he felt very confident it would work. He arranged for there delivery of the breaker, tested it to make sure it was functional and then replaced it. Everything. Was back up and running and he avoided the very expensive alternative of replacing the panel. He also took care of some other misc electrical stuff while here. I feel Brit is very knowledgeable in his field and does everything g he can to fix the issue properly and least expensive. He has a great group of colleagues that he did not hesitate to call and get their opinions on something or in my case hunt down a dinosaur breaker. I will use Rider electric in the very near future and Am so grateful to have found Rider electric. :)

Description of Work: Rider Electric came onto the kitchen/interior remodel once the demolition and framing were finished. Rider Electric moved all the electrical outlets and rewired new circuits as per the remodel requirements.

Description of Work: Britt helped us get our new home up-to-date with wiring, grounded outlets, wired a spotlight and verified the safety of our home.
