I was looking to get my master bathroom and kitchen remodeled before moving into my new place. I contacted several companies with reputable reviews and heard their bids. Tim is the one who showed up to see my project and explain how Tall Pines operates. He was able to give me a rough estimate on the spot. After talking to all of the companies I decided to go with Tim because of several reasons: availability (I needed the project done in 2 months before an extended trip abroad), their experience (I needed full guts of the rooms), fitting in my budget and a gut feeling that everything would be taken care of. Looking back now as the project was completed I can say that I definitely made the right decision. Tim was great at coordinating the team and making sure there are no delays. The team took care of all aspects, from plumbing, electrical, materials. Tim has many contacts to provide materials like cabinets, countertops, tiles, etc so it was less of a headache for myself to pick what I wanted. Tom was the lead of the project. I can't say enough good words about him, he did a stellar job. I felt like my home was in good hands all the time. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and was able to tackle all the unexpected situations that popped along the way. After seeing what a wonderful job he was doing with the kitchen and master bath, I asked him to fully remodel the 2 other baths and he was able to balance all of the work within my tight schedule. Some of the things I really appreciated about him are: his eye for detail and desire to make everything look great, always taking into consideration my concerns and needs, putting in the extra effort so that everything is spot on, taking the time to explain what was being done and to teach me how to fix things on my own. The shower turned out like a work of art, it catches everyone's eye. I've learned a lot of valuable information from him throughout the project and I can honestly say I consider him a friend from now on. I am super happy with the way things turned out and I will happily call Tall Pines again for my next project. I am recommending them to everyone I know :) Thank you for your hard work!

Working with Tall Pines has been so easy. Tim is very responsive and the crew is very friendly and professional. They helped remodel my basement which included moving a wall, adding closets, replacing a window and replacing all doors and trim. The crew showed up on time and were careful about their work and daily clean up which was important to me because I had 2 young children at home at different points during the project. They were also great at accommodating me as I tweaked different aspects of the project. I would recommend you consider them for your renovation projects

I want you to know how very pleased we are with the completion of the work in the remodeling of my laundry/bathroom. The bathroom design is lovely, the workmanship is top notch and the young crew were hard working; especially Rene who was understanding and always helpful. To Michele and Tim you're at the top of the "Job well done" list.

We worked with Tall Pines Construction on remodeling a single family house in Seattle. Tall Pines did an amazing job bringing our vision to life. Tim, Rene and the crew were always professional, on time and did very high quality work. They were very helpful in finding and lining up other trades as the project progressed and we always felt they had our interest in mind. The house came out great and we continue working with them on other projects. Tim is very easy to communicate with, he responds almost always right away. I will continue hiring Tall Pines for my upcoming projects and renovations!

Everything went very well from start to finish. Tim was always responsive to my questions from the start. He came out to the house several times before the project was started and offered ideas for the project. He stopped by on an almost daily basis to check in on how the project was going, and responded quickly to my calls as the project progressed. This was my first remodeling project, and I never felt nervous. It was obvious to my husband and I that Tim cared about my project and that it came out really well. I also had a chance to work with Tim's wife Michelle. She is a decorator and helped me refine some of the ideas I had for the bathroom.The crew was great. They took great care to make sure my hard floors and carpets were covered and safe. They were unfailing polite. The person responsible for the actual work on the project was Tom. I cannot say enough positive things about Tom. He takes a tremendous amount of pride in his work and it shows. He anticipated some issues that we hadn't thought of and came up with terrific solutions. He was such a pleasure to work with. We were remodeling our master bath, and Tom worked to make sure the bedroom was as dust-free as possible, keeping the bathroom door closed as he worked, vacuuming and sweeping up regularly. The bathroom turned beautifully. My husband and I just never worried about the project. We felt Tim and Tom were looking out for us. I would not hesitate to hire Tall Pines again!

The whole process from beginning to end went great. Tim and his crew, especially Andy are super. The best part of the process was working with Tim's wife, Michelle in the selection of finishes and design. We want to adopt her!! We are so happy with their work that we have contracted with them for a complete kitchen remodel. We are in the middle of the project and again it is going seamlessly. They are the best!!!

The end result is fantastic, we have a bathroom we can actually use now that adds value to our home rather than subtracts it.

Our daughter's bathroom, which also serves as our guest bathroom, was desperately in need of a makeover. It was outdated and the bathtub floor was peeling. We met with Tim from Tall Pines to discuss the remodel, and agreed to have it done in May. It was basically a complete gut of the old bathroom, taking most of the walls down to the studs. Furthermore, our ceiling had previously been dropped about 12", and part of the construction involved them tearing that down and raising the ceiling up to the height of the rest of the rooms. We also had them install heated flooring under the new tiles, something we know we're going to love when the weather is cold. The crew on our job consisted of Jose and Andy. They were pretty much the two nicest guys you could ever meet and I felt completely safe and comfortable having them in my house whether I was there or not. They were very courteous and tried hard to be as inconspicuous as possible- something that is not easy when your house is under construction. Their attention to detail and concern for "getting it right" really impressed me. And if something did come up that wasn't quite right, as inevitably things will on a big remodel, they always listened to me and took action immediately to remedy the problem. That meant a lot to me. In addition, they always cleaned up the site after they were done for the day, taking time to vacuum the floors to minimize the dust or dirt that might get into the rest of my house. Again, that meant a lot to me, especially as I've had work done by other companies where they leave your house a dirty mess. Lastly, their depth of experience with this kind of job was readily clear to me, and it helped me a lot when certain design choices came up. For example, when it came to designing the niche, deciding on the placement of the overhead lighting, and choosing where to place the decorative tile, I often called on their experience and knowledge before making the final decision. These guys have done a lot of bathrooms and they know what looks good and what doesn't. In the end, the suggestions they made were always spot-on. Tim was also just fantastic to work with. He checked in on the job periodically to see how things were progressing, and would also text or email me from time to time to make sure I was happy with how it was going. When something came up, he always made sure that he took care of whatever needed to be done. His concern that we be completely satisfied with the final result was very evident to me, and I have no doubt that, even with the job completed at this point, if something came up that I realized wasn't quite right, he would have someone back here right away to take care of it. One of the big reasons I chose to work with Tall Pines was because Michele is there to help with the design choices. She met with me to pick out my tile, decorative tile, vanity, granite and paint. She has a great eye for color and design. There is pretty much an infinite amount of choices and it can get incredibly overwhelming, so she really helped me out with choosing! The end result is so elegant and beautiful, even better than I would have hoped for, and we've had compliments on it from everyone who has seen it. My mother-in-law even remarked that it reminded her of the high-end bathroom she was drooling over in an expensive hotel recently. We are hoping to remodel our powder room in the next year or so, and there's no doubt in my mind that I'll be hiring Tall Pines again to have them do it for us.

It was a great experience - the contractor Tim was extremely responsive and handled any problem that came up immediately. The crew was so great - they worked fast and well, and delivered a quality result. Michele the designer was so helpful also, never too busy to respond to questions and requests for advice. We would definitely work with them again if a fast, professional remodel was needed.

Quality of labor and workmanship was high. No delays due to labor. Job was completed in a reasonable time. Owners Tim and Michele are nice people to work with.

He showed up 75 minutes late which caused him to conflict with another person bidding the job at the same time (awkward!). Told me he doesn't bid jobs and charges projects by the hour ($100/hr for 2 people). The job was probably not a good fit for him from the start and he could have saved us both some time by figuring that out over the phone and I could have had someone else come do a bid instead.

Overall, it went very well. Tall Pines actually was able to start the remodel work a couple of days ahead of agreed time. They worked hard and fast, took reasonable lunch breaks, and were willing to work past 4 so long as we agreed. We had same crew chief and crew for 90% of work, and Tim dropped by every few days to verify we were happy. Tim was very good about ensuring he understood what we wanted,keeping us informed of any unexpected problems and made valuable suggestions as to alternative ways we might get what we wanted. He adjusted well to our changes in direction and to delays caused by our suppliers, such as when the shower and bath tile shipment was delayed. Work crews did good job of protecting hardwood floors, installing plastic sheeting to confine dust and debris. Due to typical fall Seattle rain, they asked if they could store materials and work in garage, which kept dust and noise of custom cutting tiles out of house. They were excellent at daily post-work clean up and vacuuming. Problems with the work were not major, and usually involved the facts that we decided to change things or because we acted as the general contractor for parts of the job and our inexperience created delays in getting things or required Tall Pines wait on someone else's work before continuing their own. (Ex. Tall Pines couldn't do lighting on mirror until mirror in place, and contractor doing mirror could measure and cut it until granite countertop in place, which required vanity be installed, which had to happen after floor tile was done. This is one of perils of doing some of it yourself.) As noted, we were pleased with overall job performance, and are most happy with the end result.

I had some idea of what I wanted my master bathroom to look like after a remodel was done. Tall Pines Construction helped me with the design of my small space, took my very vague ideas and turned them into a wonderful master bathroom!!! I am a detail fanatic and they listened to all of my "concerns" translated them into a truly fantastic room. The crew always made me part of the details (like the position of the free standing tub) and I am very greatful for that interaction. Everyone working on the project was professional and polite. The coordination of supplies of tile and stone and glass walls was incredible. The project was completed very quickly, the work is excellent and I am still pinching myself because I cannot believe I was so very fortunate to have Tim and Michele remodel my master bathroom for me!

After considering several contractors for our master bathroom remodel, we decided to go with Tall Pines Constructions. Our first impression of Tim was very good, he was very punctual for the estimate appointment and during the estimate he was very focused on what we wanted, what could be done, and within budget that we could managed and would fit our home. We were confident that he could managed this job and that he knew what he was doing, and he could backed that up with many years of experience doing jobs like these. Before starting the remodeling we met Tim's wife Michele at our home where we discussed our style and the design of the bathroom. She then accompanied us to the suppliers where we would choose the materials for the master bathroom. It was great working with Michele during the design stage of the job, getting a lot of useful input from her and help choosing the final materials. Her knowledge and effort in connecting us with different suppliers to be able to reach our design goals was really invaluable to the success of this project. The first day of the actual remodel Tim showed up with a two men crew that would be working on our project, Szabi and George. Again we were really impressed by the experience and quality of work performed by a Tall Pines staff. Communicating and working with the on-site crew was great. They were very precise in their work and deeply considered every part of the project. The project consisted of demoing the old bathroom and installing; new tiles on the floor and walls, a tiled shower pan, freestanding tub, toilet and new vanities. The whole process was very smooth, they were very easy to work with we had good communications with both Tim and Michele as well as the on-site crew during the whole time. Which is very important to us when you have someone working in your home daily for couple of weeks. Now that the project is done we are really happy with the final result and the process getting there, a big part of that is that everyone who were involved in this project on behalf of Tall Pines were both experienced and did a delicate work. We have already started planning future projects in our home with Tim which we plan to do in the near future.

Highly recommend Tim and his entire team from Tall Pines. Very professional, skilled and courteous. From the start I was particularly concerned about excessive dust and dings on my walls from going up and down the stairs, but the entire team very careful with my home. The quality of their work was impeccable too. The tile work was beautiful. If you have an eye for detail, use these guys! As with any remodel, it's hard to have everything play out perfectly and sometimes there are curve balls that require a change in direction (materials delay, walls that are not perfectly straight, etc...). Tim and his team were good at keeping me up-to-date on any issues and helping find solutions. There wasn't one person on his team that I had concerns with. You couldn't find a nicer, more professional group of gentleman. I had such a great experience, I'm having them come back to remodel my master bath. A+++++++

Tall pines was great from beginning to end. The crew was professional, polite, did quality work, and was a pleasure to have in our home. The 2 head guys, Szabi and Jose, did a fantastic job. The tile work is exceptional. Michele is an asset not to be overlooked. Her design help and contacts for tile and fixtures made the project so very smooth.

SERIOUSLY!!! The BEST service I've EVER received from a contractor. I tried for 1 month to get my garbage disposal replaced (I'd already bought the replacement) and got nothing but the run around. I contacted Tall Pines Construction and Tim took care of me. The company typically does large projects but they were gracious enough to take care of my little project within 1 day and at a very minimal cost. We cannot recommend Tall Pines Construction highly enough and were so happy to hear that they also do Kitchen remodels because that is the next thing that is on our to-do list! We will, without a doubt, be doing business with Tall Pines again! There are not enough words to express our appreciation to Tall Pines and their employees! The entire crew is very Professional, friendly and reliable! Every evening, before they left the job site, they made sure to thoroughly clean up after themselves. I was always really impressed with how clean everything was at the end of the day! We had a few additional requests along the way and they were all so accommodating and got things done in a very timely manner! They did such a fabulous job with everything and we are so very pleased with the outcome of each of our three bathrooms!! Given the chance to do it all over again, we would definitely go with Tall Pines! Thank you Tall Pines, for EVERYTHING!!

He indicated he would be in the area and fit me in two days later, which was awesome. Tim arrived promptly, asked questions, took pictures, and said he'd have an estimate to be the following Monday. Monday came and went and no estimate came. A full week later I called Tim and felt him a voicemail inquiring about the estimate, and I've never heard anything back. I know the market for construction folks is hot right now, but not having the professional to follow up with folks when you've committed to do so is unacceptable in my book, and not a good indicator that this is somebody I should entrust with working on my house.

Tim and Michele are extremely responsive and professional: from the initial contact, to the bid process, during the work and through to the completion. They always made sure that our questions were answered and were in contact daily; if not onsite, then through phone and text conversations. Michele's design sense and experience were invaluable, as we were completely overwhelmed with the myriad choices. She and Tim also provided expertise for making solid choices that remained within our budget...in fact, it seemed that they were keeping a closer eye on it than we were, at times: they would make suggestions for products that were of equal or better quality that were less costly from other providers. One of the main reasons we chose Tall Pines for the project was to be able to access Michele for help in the design and execution of the job: she was *excellent* and not only listened to our requests/suggestions, she told us when we were wrong and provided wonderful, tasteful alternatives. Her experience in dealing with/corralling suppliers is awesome. Don't think of her as just a designer, think of her as a project manager with superior taste. The job consisted of demoing and completely remodeling our master bath that had suffered damage from a failed shower pan. They took the room down to the studs, repaired the damage and installed a sumptuous master bath (complete replacement of separate shower and tub, vanity, lights, toilet, flooring, paint, etc) that will make us happy for many years and will add great value when we eventually move on. Their crews were all greater than I can possibly put into words: Szabi (sorry if I got the spelling wrong), Jason, Chris, "The Famous" Ben, and the rest were all real great workers and made it very comfortable to have them work in our home. They cleaned up *completely* at the end of each day and protected the rest of the house to have as little impact as practicable. The quality of their work was beyond reproach. The tile work was spectacular! Also, if there ever was a problem with the work done by one of the other suppliers, the Tall Pines crew would jump on it and have it taken care of, pronto. I hope to be able to keep working with Tim, Michele and the crew long into the future. Thank you all VERY much. PS As a rule, I do not give out all "A"s, as it tends to dilute the ratings. Tall Pines absolutely deserves all "A"s: I could not fault them on any aspect of our dealings and exceeded expectations on all counts.

Tim and his crew are top notch. Very professional, punctual and able to adapt to changes on the fly. From our initial meeting, I knew Tall Pines was going to be a good choice. We had met with multiple contractors, some from Angie's List, who obviously were not interested in the job. On the other hand, Tim could see our vision from the start and showed enthusiasm in the project. His crew were there each day when they said they would be. They took the time to protect our house during the demo phase and continued to be respectful of everything around them during the project. We are very happy with the transformation. They worked to create a new shower space, installed the vanity, tub, wainscoting and a variety of tile. The tile work of the shower and flooring turned out fantastic. We would definitely work with them again.

Tall Pines did an excellent job remodeling our master bath. The tile work was outstanding. The work crews are highly skilled, prompt, and do everything they can to assure customer satisfaction. We highly recommend them and will use them again in the near future.
