Description of Work: Our experience with Homestory was more than satisfactory and we will use them again. We hired them to replace three sets of doors, (five doors comprised these three sets) each of which was a different type: one sliding closet door (also called a bypass door) which we asked them to convert to a double bifold door so we could access the entire closet instead of the half access one gets with sliding doors; one pocket door, and one unusual single bifold door which we when we asked them for advice they suggested a double swing door, which entailed installing a new door frame. (All the original doors were cheap hollow-core items, and we had planned to replace them with solid wood panel doors. Upon talking with the sales person he advised us to to get solid composite doors, as they would be cheaper, but just as heavy and just as fashionable. He was right. We are very pleased with the appearance and feel of the installed doors. Before hiring Homestory we had considered Home Depot and a couple of other places advertising themselves as purveyors of doors or door installers. In each case no one would do the complete job, that is accurately measuring the spaces where the doors were to be installed, specifying and providing the doors custom-sized to those measurements, and installing them. Purchasing high quality doors and the attendant services from Homestory will cost you about twice what it would cost you to buy doors from a warehouse store, but in our view the quality of the finished product is well worth it. Their products and installations are guarenteed, and when one of our doors needed an adjustment after installation they were at our house and fixed it within two hours of our call. We highly recommend Homestory.
