10/10 service received. I was very nervous getting all our door replaced and worried they wouldn't fit or hang well but after talking with their salesmen Drew, I felt very confident in what we had planned. The schedule I was given was correct and the installers arrived exactly on time and were friendly and professional. They were very informative on why I'd had issues with my original front door (it was horribly installed by the houses previous owners). They also checked each door frame to make sure all the measurements had been done correctly. They worked quickly, cleaned all the work areas after finishing and walked us around to check their work. I would hire them again without hesitation.

We decided to replace all 20+ 80s doors, frames, trim and baseboards along w one exterior door. We went through several iterations re selecting stain and getting the measurements and details perfect but the end product is awesome. The carpenters were patient w me going through the decision process until we got it perfect. The doors are lovely, the hardware is quality, and the installers were terrific. We ordered the doors pre-pandemic but they were installed over 4 days in May. They wore gloves and masks the entire time. Very courteous, punctual, and efficient. We purchase baseboard for the entire house which they had stained to match the doors and trim. They understood my requirements and had great suggestions on the craftsman style. The whole experience was positive.

Ordered and paid for, per our signed agreement, knotty pine doors. There was never any mention of veneer, or engineered wood, only knotty pine as the material. I paid over $2K as the 50% down payment to special order these doors. The installer arrived and informed me these doors are fir with a pine VENEER, and the knots on the doors matched like cheap vinyl flooring. I refused the doors. Homestory agreed to reorder the doors and assured me the knots would not match like the first set. The second set arrived months later, and again the doors matched and were not what Homestory agreed to. I refused these doors, and no doors have ever been installed or are in my possession. Fast forward to today, the owner Darrel agreed to work with me and said I could take the first set, second set, or a door from each set. He then sold the second set and already had a buyer for the second set. So he made over $2K from me, I have no doors, AND he sold the doors to someone else. You decide how this went.

Installers were on time, professional, finished in a timely manner and cleaned up.

I thought they over priced me, I said it wasn't right. I paid them to do other stuff. They hung the door and didn't paint or anything. It is just a slab door. I didn't know that they weren't going to paint it.

The rep tried profusely to convince us to keep our existing frames, and only replace the doors, since this would keep the cost down. My house is from 1989 and the "plastic wood" doors and frames were not up to my standard, so I wanted to replace them all. The rep provided a lump sum quote, including new door handles. The price was much higher than the competitive quotes we received. Also, after receiving the quote, the actual laborer would have had to come take exact measurements to place the order. In my opinion this is not efficient for the customer, and I did not have a good gut feeling about HomeStory. The rep was trying to "sell" me the brand, but all I wanted, was assurance of a good quality product and install. I was not comfortable with this provider, as I didn't get to meet or speak with the lead installer. I received 2 follow up call's asking if we had made a decision and ultimately elected another provider.

They have a computer system to measure the door frame and each door is custom made to fit existing frame. Everything works great! We are replacing doors in 3 separate stages. 2 stages done, one to go for remaining doors (closets) and will definitely use Homestory. Everyone very professional.

Took a little longer than originally expected, but well worth the wait. The doors and hardware are beautiful, and really improved the home. They went the extra mile to make sure the color match was great ( sent samples; the first color did not work, and they re-did it with a more gold tone before staining the doors). One problem occurred during installation, which they made right in a timely fashion. Very nice staff.

We first visited HomeStory's showroom and spoke with Darrel, the owner. He spent a good amount of time with us, explaining the different products and how the doors were made and painted. We told him how many doors we needed to replace and he sent us a price quote over the internet. After that, an appointment was set up to measure all of our doors, and the order was then submitted to the door manufacturer. Everybody was punctual and arrived on time for our appointments. When the order arrived back at HomeStory, we were contacted to set up an installation appointment. Because of the size of our order, it did take two days to complete the project. The installers were very pleasant, professional, and efficient. They were also very careful and respectful of our home, which we very much appreciated as we had recently painted our walls and door moldings. It was a lot of work to gingerly remove the old pocket door and install the new one and remove and replace the door jams for the into-the-garage and exterior doors, but the installers did an excellent job. We are very happy with our new doors. They are of excellent quality and really give the inside of our home a fresh, new look. Switching from mahogany to white doors really makes the interior seem much brighter. HomeStory was a very positive experience for us from start to finish.

Order was delivered accurately and on time. It was a remarkably easy and efficient process.

If I had done this review a week ago all my ratings would have been A's. I chose this company solely on an ad listing good prices and quality and a desire to upgrade my dark doors. They came out to take the order which included specifying door models, hardware models and finish. I had stuck a label on each door with a number and name which did make the job a little easier. Warning - double check the colors on their samples board because they are not reproduced well on the paper descriptions. About a week later someone came out and took the laser measurements off each door frame. It took about 6 weeks for the doors to be ready and I was pleased that they were able to hold them for 6 more weeks before installation. I'm certain this was less than ideal for them. When they came to install the doors there were 3 fellows, and they were all removing and installing at the same time. When the dust settled I found that 1 of the heavier doors I ordered had been made and installed on a closet instead a hallway. Since my suitcases weren't about to made a break-out it was a waste, but they promised a new door for the correct location in 6 weeks - and that leads to my poorer than expected review. I waited 6 weeks then called about it and found that it had never been ordered, hence another wait. I also have 3 door knobs that still need to be installed - but that is my fault. In short - double check that your order was all correct before the installation is finished and if there needs to be some remedial action taken, verify with the office that it was done. And yes, I would use them again and just follow through with my own advice. Fifteen doors, all slightly different due to settling, tearing out carpets,etc - and they all fit much better than what they replaced.

We were so pleased with the company from start to finish. The work was completed in two hours. They came on schedule and did a wonderful job of cleaning up. The installers were so friendly efficient professional.

This was the best every money spent on the inside of my home. Not only are the doors lovely to look at, they fit perfectly. A first rate company with a superior product. I could not be happier!

Not only did they come out early, but they finished the job, installing all 13 doors in 2 HOURS!!!! My wife and I are thrilled with new doors...they are gorgeous. Everyone from Homestory was personable, courteous and professional. Could not be any happier!! CALL THESE GUYS...THEY DO GREAT WORK

Darrel came to measure the 3 door openings with his laser measuring equipment. This took roughly 15 minutes. Paint colors were matched and selected and he was out the door. The store contacted us when the doors were ready and a installation date was set. Two employees installed the doors in about 15 minutes! Because of the precise measurements they are able to take, they machine the new door to fit the exact dimensions of the opening. Its a great concept with quality materials.
