Affordable Window Cleaners

I have to say it had been a very long time since the gutters or outside of the windows had been cleaned. Needless to say, it made a huge difference. Dan was great, and spent a lot of time on it, I'm sure more than he had expected to. He worked on scraping little bits of paint from the windows that had been on them for years, along with washing them. For the basement windows, he cut the weeds growing in front of them to get to them. He showed me that the green and brown water streaks down the side of the garage were not from a gutter problem, but from a hole in the garage roof. I would most definitely recommend this company. I'll be having them regularly from now--and yes, it will cost less from now on too, since it won't be after years on end without cleaning.

The experience was very good. They did the whole job well. They showed up on time and were punctual. I would use them again in the future and recommend them to others.

Excellent job, advice on maintenance. Instead of doing the gutters and roof, advised others do that. He was unwilling to do an inadequate job even though it would have made him money. He also has excellent advice on window installers/repairers as well as what gutter systems actually work. Wonderful!

I contacted several companies I found in Angie's List. I had a few questions about the job (wasn't sure exactly what my problem was). AWC was the only company that took time to answer my questions. Jacqueline from the office was very helpful and responsive. I asked them to come out and perform the work. Once on site, Dan proved to be a real customer service pro. He took time to explain to me how gutter helmets work, what maintenance they require and what can go wrong if you don't take care of them. Dan was very clear that, once he got up on the ladder, my gutter problems might be something else, but that he was pretty sure what the problem was. He also pointed out that I had moss on the roof and that he would clean that as well. Dan completed the work in about an hour and a half. Afterwords, he explained to me what he found (just as he had suspected) and what I should do for maintenance in the future. AWC was very professional and courteous. I will definitely use them again.

Went well. He came promptly, called to let us know when he was nearing our place. He is pleasant, informative, thorough and works efficiently.

We've used other services that are no longer in business and the reason is that they failed to maintain there previous level of excellence.

Although they are sometimes booked weeks (even months) ahead, they managed to fit me in. Our living room is two stories high, so they brought a tall ladder, which had protective wrappings for the part that touched my walls. They also cleaned the ceiling fan in the two story area and removed all my window screens. They were great, polite and accommodating! I will book them twice a year and include cleaning the window screens and re-installing them every spring.

Great service! Skip showed up on time and quickly gave me an estimate and when I approved started in with the work. Skip was very informative and told me exactly what he would be doing. On second visit, they arrived on time, communicated well what needed to be done, and got done in a timely manner. This is the second time I've used Dan Skipworth's company. I was very satisfied with the work and will continue to use them.

THEY WERE IN AND OUT. VERY GOOD. REASONABLE, TOO. HE CAME OUT, GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE, I AGREED TO IT, HE DID THE WORK. SIMPLE AS THAT.

Excellent. We have hundreds of French panes. Dan was very understanding that it was a huge job and made some recommendations that saved me some money. Dan and one other person were at my home the better part of a day. They were very nice and easy to have in my home. I felt very comfortable leaving for errands, etc. My only gripe is that they are very busy so it takes a few weeks to get them to come out.

John did a great job, he showed up on time, and completed this huge project within estimates. He was very polite and professional. I will definately use their services again.

Great job, he was here on time, unloaded his ladder, explained to us the process and then did the job! He made a few adjustments where the flow wasn't getting through. And, on my way out to do errands, carried something to my car for me! What a guy!

Dan is excellent! He is punctual, efficient and a perfectionist. He knows about windows, not just how to wash them. He knows how screens, sunlight, etc., affect windows. He advised I not get my Spring window cleaning done until after the bee spraying was done. He accidentally poked a hole in a screen while removing it (old screen needing small screwdriver to fasten/unfastened) he went and bought replacement screening and replaced it at no charge. I wish he would poke holes in all my screens!

Dan arrived promptly and surveyed the house giving us a quote. Once we'd agreed on the quote they did the job right there and then. Inside the house they were clean and careful to cover floors and furniture with tarps and removed their shoes while indoors. We have 5 skylights which were also cleaned inside and out, and our door screens look so much better. Plus we had some unusual window screens which are like roller blinds, as they couldn't clean them thoroughly they just wiped them but did not charge us. Dan is a super nice person and we will be using them again in 6 months. Our windows look amazing, so clean it's like the glass is not there. Our house looked better even pulling into the driveway!

We had a great experience. Our house sits up high on a hill, and the skylights and 2nd story windows are very hard to get to. He did a fabulous job on the patio covering , which is made of plastic greenhouse material. Very friendly and nice to work with.

Overall, the experience was good. The workman was courteous and hard working. The only issue was that he was not expecting storm windows. So he did not have the tools to remove and clean them. I don't believe they asked about storm windows when I called to set up the appointment.

All work was done quickly and efficiently. No mess was left and all work was done as per the estimate. They were quick to go out to do an estimate also. Nailing the gutters back into place was an added bonus. All this was done via e-mail, and I am very pleased with their customer service and responsiveness. I would definitely hire them again to do the same job and for any other services that they offer.

Jim was on time, professional, polite, and friendly. He did an excellent job of cleaning the unusually large windows of my townhome.

They called back the same day that I left a message and did the work on the day that they came out to provide an estimate. They did an excellent job and spent about four hours on our house (the windows were extremely dirty and had some remnant paint). Dan even noticed some problems with our roof and took digital photos which he emailed to us later that night (great responsiveness!). Overall, I was very pleased.

Received a prompt return call from the company to set up an appointment. The service was provided within a few days of the call. Dan Skipworth was great, very personable, fast and efficient. Our windows have never looked so clean in such a short time frame. We will have him back again.

Dan did an excellent job. The windows absolutely sparkle. He was very courteous and professional. He took special care to remove his shoes before entering the house to not track in any dirt. Also, he pointed out the windows that had failed seals. I will definitely hire Dan again.
