I have used the company for several years. They do a very thorough job and the pricing is reasonable. The technicians are friendly, do good work and clean up after themselves well. I have had no problem scheduling their service when I need it.

Beyond expectations. Had other window cleaner refuse to take off storm windows because of their age and condition. Dan had no problem with that. Very thorough job. Windows had a LOT of grime and required a lot of work. He was prompt and very pleasant to work with. I'm having him come back again in early summer to keep up the maintenance. Definitely would recommend his company again.

The job went very well. Sam took the time to show me some windows with failing seals. I was impressed that he took enough time to do everything right.

They're prompt and they take very good care, in terms of not dripping any water in your house. They're very clean with their shoes and when they come in the house.

Contacted Affordable Window Washers to wash the inside and outside windows. They arrived as scheduled. Walked through the house. Started washing the windows on the inside and then outside.

They were very inexpensive and very professional. We dealt with the owner, and he was very professional. They were easy to schedule with and they showed up on time.

Showed up right on time. Owner and 1 assistant who got started promptly. Gave me a price, did a great job, cleaned up and windows and skylights look great. This went so smooth, I'll probably use them once a year vs. my habit of every 2 or 3 years. The pollen was especially bad this year, so the skylights were pretty hard to clean.

Excellent Service and good pricing. Sam C. did a fabulous job. He called about 45 minutes before his arrival and he was right on time. Sam provided an estimate for all the work we wanted done and upon approval went right to work. He cleaned all the gutters and applied zinc to the moss on our roof. He cleaned 14 regular sized windows, 3 picture windows, a patio door and 3 skylights on our deck. He did the windows inside and out and they are VERY clean. Sam was very polite and very professional and he kept us apprised of his status throughout the day. We are very pleased with Sam's work and Affordable Window Cleaners will get return business from us.

I've been a customer of Dan Skipworth's for many years. I don't think it's possible to find a nicer man or anyone more dedicated to their job. Everyone that works at Affordable Window Cleaners do an excellent job cleaning windows and gutters. They are on time, work quickly and efficiently and they are simply very nice people. I'm writing this review on Sunday afternoon while Dan is cleaning our gutters. Our gutters were plugged and causing a leak in our house. How many companies do you know that would come out on a Sunday afternoon? My highest praise goes to Dan and his company. He's the best of the best. Thanks, Dan!

Dan did a great job. He showed up exactly as scheduled and made sure the windows all looked perfect before he left. And he honored a lower price estimate even though it turned out that the lower estimate was not correct. I will definitely have Affordable Window Cleaners back again!

Angie's List rated this company A so we thought we would give them a try. I called to ask for a bid and was told that they do not give bids! They schedule the work crew to come to your house and you receive the bid on the same day they do the work. They said they are too busy to give bids and that this is how they have always done it. We had never encountered a contractor who was not willing to give an estimate - because really how can you know if you can hire someone if you have no idea of what they are going to charge??? Also, it would be very stressful to be in the position of having to send a work crew away from your house once they arrived ready for work if in fact the bid turned out to be unacceptable. .. After several conversations with the office, Dan finally said he could see our house on google and would estimate our job to be in the range of $350 - $450 - a little less or a little more depending on what they actually saw when they came out. Our last contractor had charged $435 so this seemed reasonable - especially since Dan stressed the quality of their work. And his company did have an A rating on Angie's List! So, our window cleaning was scheduled for August 5th. On Sunday (August 4th) we moved all furniture away from the windows inside and out preparing for the window cleaners. My husband stayed home from work Monday morning to wait for the crew to arrive - their scheduled arrival time was to be between 8:00 and 9:00... It was almost 9:30 when Sam arrived. He apologized for being late, looked at the house, said it would probably be a 2 day job... (4 to 5 hours has always been the amount of time taken to do our home).... We told Sam 2 days was an unacceptable time frame, so he made a call and found someone who could come here by 1:00 to help him and maybe they could finish in one day....Then he said he needed to look around the house and give us our "real" estimate". The "real estimate" - depending on how the work went, was going to be between $900 - $1000 given tax...That ended our direct experience with Sam... Our follow-up conversations by phone and through e-mails with Dan boiled down to the fact that the google picture didn't really give him a clear idea of our house - even though I had told him it was 4,000 sq. ft. He pointed out that he had said the cost might be higher than what he quoted. He also went on to say that they were "professional" window washers, and that others who might do the job more cheaply were of questionable character, probably recovering alcoholics and other things....a theme he repeated several times throughout our conversations... Dealing with "Affordable Window Cleaners" was an experience we would never want to repeat.

They are punctual and they do a really good thorough job. I have difficult windows to clean because I have a lot of art, so they were very careful and gentle. They never made it seem like it was a burden. They are always very accommodating, kind, thoughtful, and trustworthy.

Dan and his helper arrived right on schedule. They were very professional and explained their planned work and kept us informed every step of the way. They worked quickly, efficiently, and did a thorough cleanup of the gutter and roof debris. We were very happy with them. This is the second time we had them do window cleaning for us.

We have used this company for years and always been happy with their service. They are prompt and do a great job. Workers are very professional while in the house.

Fantastic customer service. These guys took the time to explain to me what was going on with my windows due to time, nature, and neglect from previous owners. They made sure I was happy with every single window in the house and made them look better than I had hoped. Price was lower than I had expected and I would call them again in a heartbeat, but I don't think I will need to for quite awhile!

The promptness, courtesy, and professionalism displayed by Dan and Sam of Affordable Window Cleaning was the best we've ever received for window cleaning, and we could hardly believe the price! We are already signed up for a return visit in six months, and I will be telling all of my neighbors about this superior little company that puts the competition to shame and is a pleasure to work with!

He's great and fantastic. His name is Dan. His price was right in line with everybody else's. It wasn't too little neither it was too big. It was just normal. He got hung up a little bit but I don't think it was his fault. I will definitely use him again in the future if I need to. In fact I have already booked him six months from now for my windows.

He is excellent and really is careful and gentle with all my things.

I CALLED AND REQUESTED AN ESTIMATE, MENTIONING ANGIE'S LIST. AN APPOINTMENT WAS MADE WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE AND ON 08/29 JOHN ARRIVED AT THE APPOINTED TIME. HE PRESENTED ME WITH HIS CARD AND LEAFLET. HE WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND ASKED IF THERE WERE SKYLIGHTS (NO), INSIDE AND OUT? (JUST OUTSIDE) AND I ALSO ASKED HIM TO LOOK AT 2 GUTTERS THAT ARE TOO HIGH FOR ME TO REACH. HE EXPLAINED THAT HE WOULD FIRST LOOK AROUND AND GIVE ME A QUOTE AND IF I WAS HAPPY WITH THAT HE WOULD DO THE JOB THERE AND THEN. THE QUOTE WAS FOR 125.00 FOR ALL THE WINDOWS WHICH I FELT WAS REASONABLE. JOHN IS A FAST WORKER, EXPLAINED A FEW MARKS THAT WERE BETWEEN THE DOUBLE GLAZING, ACTUALLY TOOK PHOTOS OF MY GUTTER ON HIS CELL (THE DID NOT NEED ANY CLEARING) AND WAS VERY POLITE AND EASY TO WORK WITH. THE WINDOWS LOOK GREAT. HE WAS SO QUITE AND QUICK THAT I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE HE WAS DOING THE UPSTAIRS WINDOWS. VERY EFFICIENT WORKER. I WILL BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN NEXT YEAR AND HAVE GIVEN THE LEAFLET TO A FRIEND.
