Selected Willy based on previous Angie's List reviews and was not disappointed. Contacted Willy by phone and described my job (cut about two inches off the depth of three couch seat cushions to shorten the seating area and then redo the cushion coverings to fit), and sent him an e-mail with pictures and measurements. Willy sent me an estimate for the work and I dropped the cushions off at his shop and picked them up a week later as scheduled. The workmanship is great and the cushions now come exactally to the edge of the couch base, rather than sticking out over the edge. Willy kept the final price the same as his estimate. I am very pleased with Willy's work, service, price, and schedule.

Willy was good to work with. He helped provide a place to start finding the fabric I want and was willing to get samples or do whatever he could to support the process. I found the fabric on one of the sites he uses and then was able to locate it locally and get it on sale. The best parts are the work he does and the pick up and delivery he provides! I compared 3 Upholsterer's on Angie's list and he had one of the best record and was by far a better price. I would use him again and again. Willy contacted us right away, came out to give us an estimate, connected us with a company that provided fabric and had samples sento to us to look at. They delivered the couch to us at no extra charge. They did a very professional job and we are extremely happy with the couch! I would recommend Willy to all of my friends. Thank you Willy!

I initially contacted Willy through email and he responded immediately. Willy suggest where I should look for fabric and the yardage needed. Since it was such a small piece, I dropped off the stool for recovering. When I picked up the stool, I got a quote on having my four dining room chairs recovered. This will be my next project for Willy.

Willy responded to my email immediately. He came out within a couple of days and gave me an estimate for the work we needed done. His estimate was incredibly reasonable! He then directed me to a website to select fabrics and arranged to have samples sent out. I had probably 15 samples sent as I tried to decide on colors and designs. I never felt rushed during this process even though I took quite a bit of time making up my mind. Once the fabric arrived at his shop, Willy picked up my furniture. The work was completed in a very reasonable time and delivered back to my home. The workmanship was top-notch!! I have had a couple of friends ask who did the work and one has already contacted him to recover their living room chairs! I will be using his services again as well. Great Job!!

They did a beautiful job and I have got a lot of comments on it. The person is a hard worker and I really liked the way he worked with me. We would communicate through email and so we were not sure of how the material that I had selected would turn out. I had given him the material and had to only pay for the labor. He would send me pictures after he got to a certain point on finishing up the chair or the sofa. We were also not sure on how we wanted to finish the trim on it and he sent me a few pictures of some possibilities. He was very helpful on how to use the material. He blended some other materials with it to make it a really beautiful custom piece. I got some nice looking pieces and I really appreciated that. He was punctual and I thought that the price was really reasonable. He let me use my own material, which some do not allow, and that was beautiful too.

Willy had samples of fabric available that he lent me. Picked up and delivered the chair pads and attached them to the chairs. Did the job in 24 hours.. Was very responsive to emails. Easy to work with. Willy is very pleasant and professional. His price was much less than another bid I received. Great job!

He does the reupholster work. He picked up and delivered it to get everything in a timely manner. I was looking for a reasonable upholster for my big chair. It was so expensive that I was about to give up. Then I found him and he really did an excellent job.

I want to start out by saying Willy did an awesome job! First, his quote was very reasonable and fair. Second, Knoll delivered the fabric from Amsterdam 2+ months late and Willy was kind enough to hold onto our ottomans until the fabric arrived which we really appreciated. When we delivered the fabric, Willy upholstered them in no time and we got them back within a week. We were very pleased and surprised to meet someone so straightforward, professional and kind - we plan to update more of our furniture pieces with Willy!

Although there was confusion about which was the correct size of the fabric to be used Willy fixed the problem and I am extremely happy with the finished job.

I called around to several other upholstery services and I just wanted some seat cushions recovered with my own fabric. I was quoted prices that were too expensive. Willy's prices were very reasonable; I called him he came over the next day, took the cushions and returned them two days later. I was impressed with his promptness and service. He was very pleasant to work with.

I went out and choose my own fabric. He was very prompt in responding to me and picking up the chair to work on it. He emailed me pictures of fabric that he thought might work for the straight back chair, as well. He is very friendly, personable and keeps you appraised at what is going on. His prices are extremely reasonable,as well.

I first contacted Willy by email, submitting pictures of the furniture I needed reupholstered. He wrote back within a few hours with estimates and fabric shopping recommendations. I then went to his workshop, which is in a building behind his home, and was impressed with how organized and well set up it was. While there he checked the fabric sources I had found online, approved them and he gave me the yardage amounts I would need. I was to call him as soon as I had the fabric. I did so and he said he would be ready to start my project the following week. Though he was willing to pick them up, I brought the chair and ottoman to him and he gave me a one week estimate to completion. He duly notified me exactly one week later, with an email picture of the chair and ottoman, that they were ready for pickup. I brought the fabric for the wing back chair seat cushion when I picked up the club chair and he had that done for me two days later, as promised. I should note here that almost all my communications with Willy were by email and I rarely waited more than a few hours for a response.

Work went perfectly and the chair is beautiful! I e-mailed him for a quote with pictures and he gave me the price he would do the work for which was significantly lower that the shops in my area. It also included pickup and delivery which was great because I think we are on opposite ends of the city! According to his card, he also does boats, RV's and motorhomes.
