Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List Deal for a fireplace tune-up, cleaning and inspection with RCS fireplace. The service was amazing! The cleaning was thorough and it looks like a brand new fireplace. Getting an appointment was very easy. Although I wasn't originally scheduled for service until November 6th, RCS had an opening come open a week earlier and promptly called too offer the earlier appointment. I gladly accepted and am so happy that I did. Thank you.

Description of Work: my logs were completely taken apart. The entire unit was vacuumed. All the major part were checked. The very small air flow pipe which had a 2 screw (one rather hidden) was cleaned which corrected my problem. The glass was cleaned with a special cleaner. The service man explained every thing he did. He replace all the units and added fresh material that enhances the glow. |

Description of Work: I was very happy with the service from RCS Fireplace. Our gas log fireplace insert had never been cleaned and serviced before in the 7+ years that we've owned it. The service men from RCS Fireplace completely dismantled and cleaned all the parts and even touched up the paint where it needed it. They answered all my questions and were careful not to make a mess. My gas fireplace looks and works like brand new now - just in time for Fall and Winter. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat; they really know their stuff.

Description of Work: The technician was prompt, knowledgeable, and completed the repair promptly. He also found that the original installer did not remove the protective sheet on the glass of the fire place. He cleaned everything and now the fireplace looks and works fine!

Description of Work: Rusty and his apprentice technician, Raul, cleaned the fireplace, replaced the embers, cleaned and checked both the thermocouple and thermopile, etc...My Majestic Brand Fireplace is 9 years old and has never been serviced. It continues to work like a charm, now looks like new and I signed up for the annual maintenance plan. RCA Fireplace is a professional outfit and I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: My gas log required sand. The service man didn't have any. I had to retrieve it myself while he was cleaning the unit. Having said that, I think the service was overpriced but I was happy with the result.

Description of Work: RCS extended our natural gas service from our water heater / furnace to our kitchen so we could have a gas range. Rusty arrived on time, was pleasant, cleaned up after job was completed and installed/tested our new dual fuel range. Charges were as estimated and there were no extra unexpected charges. I would HIGHLY recommend RCS Fireplace these folks are customer focused.

Description of Work: Service was excellent however it took a while for them to come out. Diagnosed and fixed the problem with the fireplace quickly. However forgot to clean the glass before putting everything back together.

Description of Work: Cleaned natural gas fireplace insert. Part of the job was painting the interior which made it look really sharp. Rusty arrived when he said he would, made sure the area surrounding the insert was protected from dirt and did an outstanding job.

Description of Work: Rusty checked, cleaned and even found a leak in our gas line. Was very professional. He cleaned up after he was done even took his shoes off when he came in the house. He scrubbed the grate outside to make sure he did not make a mess in the house. He vacuumed the area afterwards to make sure he cleaned everything up.
