Description of Work: Rusty (the owner) cleaned and repaired gas fireplace, but had to return 2 weeks later when fireplace was not working as I thought it should. When he came out the 2nd time he found the gas was not fully turned on and he should have caught that the first visit. Fireplace is now working great, with only a minimal charge for a blower switch I asked him to replace.. Rusty is a professional with integrity.

Description of Work: Gas fireplace insert purchase and instillation. They came to the home to look at the space and measued it before completing the deal.

Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment and then had to reschedule due to conflicting appointments. They were very accommodating. The day of the cleaning the serviceman called to tell me he was on the way and would be 15 minutes late. The call was appreciated. After the service our fireplace looked like new. I would recommend this company.

Description of Work: Service Tech inspected and cleaned my upstairs fireplace. I was having trouble with the lighting mechanism on the gas burner and he was able to identify the problem, show me the part, and replaced the part at a reasonable price. I liked them enough that we scheduled another appointment to inspect and clean my downstairs gas fireplace.

Description of Work: Rusty, the owner, did the work. He did a great job on the fireplace. Made sure he kept everything clean. Spent plenty of time to do a more than thorough job. I did purchase a service policy for next year for $99, and will have our gas stove serviced next year. Nice to know that there is someone around that is so professional and efficient, and can do any work that may need to be done in the future. I highly recommend.

Description of Work: Our experience with RCS Fireplace was terrific. When we came across the recommendations on Angie's list we followed up with a call to their office in Auburn. We left a message as our call was outside of normal business hours, and was surprised to receive a return call later that day. I described my issue with our existing gas fireplace insert and scheduled an appointment for Rusty to come out and look over our situation. Rusty called to confirm the appointment twice, once following the main office schedule , and again the day before the appointment. In my discussion with Rusty, he described their service charges, and potential replacements for our insert. The initial assessment and quote for replacement was at no charge. We opted to repair our existing insert, which he mentioned could be between 1 to 2 hours of work, ranging from their basic service charge of approximately $145 to as much as $300 plus parts and tax. We were expecting for the service to come in at the higher end, but were very please that he completed the work in under an hour and with great results! Our experience with Rusty and RCS Fireplace was truly outstanding and we are so happy we sought their assistance. Our only regret is that we didn't do it sooner! We would absolutely use Rusty and RCS Fireplace again!

Description of Work: The outside vent for the gas fireplace needed to be replaced and a general cleaning of the interior of the firebox was requested. On inspection, the model of the fireplace was noted and the vent was ordered. Once the vent arrive, replacement was made. The firebox was cleaned and repainted. The job was completed in a very professional fashion and with professional results.

Description of Work: Rusty replaced the switch on the wall for one fireplace, and replaced a thermostat on another. He gave me his hourly service rate, his service trip charge and did it all for that initial quote plus the $30 cost for the thermostat. It took 1 1/2 hours. He was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and we were very pleased. I would strongly reccomend him. I wish all workmen were just like him. He was the second person to come out to repair the fireplace that requred a switch, and they didn't have a clue, but charged me anyway.
