DRAIN AWAY PLUMBING

I was pleased with the work. He was right here on time, very friendly, and got right to work.

On Christmas day our water heater quit. After trying to reset the pilot light without success I called Drain Away the next morning. Within an hour their technician was here. He reset the pilot light and it seemed to be working. So, without charge, he left with instructions on monitoring the pilot light. He said to watch the pilot light throughout the day, and if it failed again he would return and replace the thermocouple. When the pilot light would no stay lit he returned and promptly replaced the thermocouple.

After a different plumber, Southwest Plumbing, used a snake on my kitchen sink drain, with a price tag of $270, the plumber failed to clear the drain. He then offered to go into the basement to snake from another outlet, FOR AN ADDITIONAL $80, or leave me with the clogged drain and charge me nothing. I opted to let him go. I then called Drain Away Plumbing. Their plumber snaked the same drain, this time with a motorized snake, and cleared it, for $140. He also assessed all my plumbing needs and gave me good recommendations and estimates. His recommendations were sensitive to both quality and cost. Drain Away Plumbing was great! They are now our plumber.

Excellent Service and Price. After obtaining an astronomical quote of almost $3,000 from South West Plumbing, I made a few calls and was introduced to Drain Away. That night a plumber was out and gave me a quote of $275. I was stunned, after just receiving a quote of $3,000 I couldn't believe my ears. I was even able to purchase my own choice of tub and faucet (something that South West would not allow). Needless to say, the very next day, I had my new sink installed and saved approximately $2700. Everything was done as discussed and quoted. Job was completed in under 2 hours and I still use the tub/sink to this day. I have since used Drain Away for other jobs and have nothing but high praise for these guys. They know what they are doing and do it without breaking your bank account.

Matt was excellent!! He was on-time, took great care doing the job, prepping and cleaning up. He took the time to show me everything he did. He has great customer service skills.

I found them on Angie's List and called them the same day. They arrived at my house within 2 hours and got to work. The tech was friendly and professional and answered all of our questions. He completed the job in 1.5 hours. We were happy with their friendly and honest attitude and would definitely recommend them.

My overall experience with Drain Away Plumbing was very positive. When I can call a company out and they find nothing wrong and leave without charging me anything, it is an honest company. I have a list of plumbing work I want done with an upcoming remodel and Drain Away is who I will be calling.

I called Drain Away Plumbing a little after 8 am on Monday morning, a service technician arrived at the house by 9 am. He was friendly, worked quickly, and replaced the breaker assembly on the faucet in the back yard. As the front outdoor faucet was also leaking, I asked him to take a look and he replaced that as well.

EXCELLENT! The above work description list describes everything done, plus service tech was very helpful, came up with some good ideas, down-to-earth, laughed at my bad jokes, and was all around a nice guy. Would (and will) recommend him and 'DrainAway Plumbing' to my friends. Definitely.

They did a pretty good job. They came back because they found that the water turned off inside the house but it did not have a good turn off on the meter. So they came back and fixed it. I thought that the guy was good. He gave me some good ideas like putting a surge protector on my refrigerator which I did. He went out, got it and put it on. He told me what brands were the better brands to buy; the ones with the least repairs.

I wish this company would say that they work only Mon through Fri if they aren't going to bother calling back on an emergency service call.

This report is LONG OVERDUE because our remodel began last year, July 2008. In actuality, there should be a total of three reports like this one...one for each phase of the remodel. We had received a few other bids, but Aaron of Drain Away Plumbing is why we went with them. Though his bid was reasonable, it was his personality and caring attitude that won us over. Aaron definitely understands what it means to be working in someone's home and how the customer's time is important too. Aaron was always on time, he answered all of our questions or he would ask us questions for clarity, he always had the tools necessary to do the job, he could complete the work without excuses and the respect he showed to our home throughout the project was unbelievable. By far, out of all of the sub-contractors we have had to employ for this project, Aaron and Drain Away never let us down. Our regret is letting Drain Away down for not writing more reports. Our sincere apologies. Without a doubt, Aaron, Tony and Cory have created a customer/business relationship that will be very difficult to dissolve.

I had a leak behind a wall and needed to have it taken care of right away. Called on a Sunday at 7 am and someone was here by 9:15. Work was done efficiently and each step was explained to me. Price was very fair.

I called on a Saturday and made an appointment for a Monday at 1 p.m. However, nobody showed up. When I called to find out why, I found out the person I had talked to on Saturday had failed to turn in a work order. A plumber finally arrived at 2:30 p.m. The work was done quickly and well, but I didn't like waiting.

Excellent! I called at 3, expecting that I'd have to make an appointment for the following day. But Dave was in the area and showed up within an hour. He looked at the problem and then showed me DrainAway's "straightforward pricing" sheet. He was competent, clearly explained what he would have to do, and made sure the work area was cleaned up before he left.

OVERALL: Highly satisfactorily, i.e., thorough and patient explanations, punctuality, graciously accommodated my schedule.

They came and did the work, and they came on time. They suggested more work that could be done, but we didn't go through with it. They came out within a day after we called.

We had a leaky pipe that had stopped leaking between the time that we called them and the time that they got here. It still has not leaked since. The guy that came out had a broken wrist, so he could not do to much work on the wobbly toilet. He called a guy to come out and do work the next week. This guy had a back problem, so he got someone to come out for him. That guy did not have the part that he needed and had to come back the next day to do the work.

The gentleman who came to my house was very helpful and honest. He did not do any work for me but told me what needed to be done.

He arrived promptly. Have had no problems with the fixtures installed. He did a very nice job and left the work area clean.

I called for service and they were here the next morning. Matt was here right on time and it only took him an hour to fix the problem. He cleaned up the area so well that you would never know any work was done there. He was a very nice young man and even my dog just loved him.

I have a home warranty for my hot water heater, so they sent out drain away. I had a small drip out of my hot water heater, so they came out the next day. Eric came to the door exactly on time, put on his cover boots to not mess up the floor and got to work diagnosing the problem. I needed a new water tank and he went to bat (for a while) with the insurance company. Went to his shop, got the right tank, hooked up the tank and replaced the leaking faucet. It was probably about $800 worth of work, but he was very professional and had it all done in about 4 hours. I had to pay a little more because I needed an earthquake strap that my insurance didn't cover, but the price was fair, (about $50.)

We're having an addition built on our house and our contractor had left without completing the project, so we were left to complete it on our own. I met with 4 plumbers for bids. Matt at Drain Away came out to do an estimate (arrived on time). He stated he would email me the bid in 2 days. Two weeks and several phone calls later, we still do not have our estimate. I read a report by another consumer with the same issue, and was hoping to not fall into that situation. Unfortunately, I did. So, without a bid or any work done, I can't give much of a report. Matt was nice and professional, but did not follow through.

They provided a quick estimate and performed the work right away. They were friendly and professional.
