Came promptly, worked efficiently, and neatly. Hauled away debris and cleaned everything up.

They sent two guys who were both very professional and friendly. They did a wonderful job and were very careful not to get any soot or ash on our new carpet. Provided detailed pictures of our chimney from the roof along with suggestions about what we should do next. No pressure, just good info. Also, they quickly inspected our gas fireplace for no additional charge.

We've been in the house for 11 years and never had a fire. Very small fire box and uncertainty when the last fire was ever burned there had me simply putting candles in the fireplace to create a nice look. Finally wanted a real fire. They informed me that the box and chimney pipe are both very small (formerly the coal burning stove in a 112 year old house). They said I'd better test it first with some paper to make sure the smoke all vents out alright before having a full fire burning and a house filling with smoke. Test went well and we had a fire that night, and several since. Very happy with the service.

It was excellent. They did some reconstruction on the chimney. The mortar was gone and they needed to put on new covers over the top for rain. He was here and completed the work within a week because he called me back right away after I purchased the deal. He came out and looked at it and then he had to come back with the materials that he needed and then he gave me an estimate. I ended up spending a little over $1000 for his services. His work was impeccable but the thing I really appreciated was that he was so honest. We had some people here to come and clean the chimney and they told me the whole chimney needed to be replaced and they gave me a bid of $5000. They told me there was leakage and the bricks were wet and this gentleman was here 5 minutes and he told me that that was not true. What he did was very simple. He went up on the roof and said that we had a few bricks loose and he said the reason the bricks are soaked in is because the rain is getting into the chimney and he said he would just put some caps over it. So his bill was $1000.

Solid performance, showed up on time, did the work, charged a fair price. Not as keen on their attempts to sell several add-on items.

They cleaned my two chimney's. They were done within 30 minutes. Scheduling was great, they contacted me to set up the appointment. They were supposed to arrive at noon but showed up 30 minutes late which was fine because it only took them 30 minutes to complete the work. The technicians brought all their equipment with them and they cleaned up well.

The guys were great. Punctual, professional, and they answered all of our questions. The inside of the chimney was fine, but the flashing, crown and stack need some work. They gave us an estimate, which we accepted, and scheduled us right away for the first available time open (December), to perform the repairs. Wonderful! **See update, above.

I purchased a big deal for this company. They were great. They came out to clean the chimney, they checked out our chimney and we had a problem and they checked everything out and gave us a good estimate to fix it. And we are planning on using them to do the repairs. I just thought the guy was really nice and explained things really well.

It is nothing really bad. I contacted them about setting up a date to clean our chimney as we use our wood stove as our primary source of heat, so it needs to be serviced soon. The only dates they had was October 31 and some in November. I am travelling most of November and could not make it work and my wife is uncomfortable to handle these kinds of things while I am away. So we scheduled for October 31. I took the day off and got a call this morning saying that the technician called in sick. Unfortunately, the next possible date was when I am out of town and the times after that approached over a month from now. We just need to get it cleaned as soon as we can. They were courteous on the phone and did try to make it work, but we just couldn't hit a right time to reschedule. Thanks!

Everything went fine and as promised, except for one minor glitch. They came out the first day and arrived right on schedule. They assessed the situation and had to schedule a follow-up visit. A couple days before the appointed time they called and asked to reschedule, saying their scaffold was not going to be available because the job it was on was taking longer than expected. Rather than just rescheduling me for a few days later when the scaffold would be available, they scheduled me for their next opening which was almost three weeks later. That was an excessive wait time, considering I had already paid them 50%.

He and his assistant inspected the chimney and reported no blockages, just needed a cleaning. I appreciated the honesty and the explanation of chimney workings. They handled the cleaning right then, without requiring a 2nd appointment, which was great since I didn't have to take additional time off of work.

The provider arrived within the time range as scheduled. The work was tidily completed but took only 25 min from the 1st knock on the door until the singing of the service papers. I HOPE they did a thorough job but will not know until I start using the wood stove. Only time will tell. I used someone else last year, paid less, and they spent about twice the amount of time doing the job.

pleasant communication...i do realize this is a busy season for this service, but i have found a company who will do the job sooner

The service providers were thorough, cleaned up after themselves, and answered our questions regarding potential future repair requirements and how to do some basic chimney maintenance ourselves. We appreciated that they did not try to oversell their services. They cleaned up after themselves and it was painless!

The person who gave the quote was thorough as were the workers who did the job.

I bought their sweep and inspect package through Angie's list. The initial appointment call was pretty quick. The complain I have is that they called in and re-schedule the appointment twice. The final job was done about two weeks after my initial appointment date. Because of this reschedule, I couldn't be at home when the service guy actually came. From my wife's description, the sweep and inspection went well. But I couldn't make a judgement based on my own observation. Next time I probably won't use this kind of instant deal, but go through a normal appointment procedure.

I called and spoke with a woman named Melody, who was very helpful and asked questions about my chimney and answered all my questions. She was very polite. I made the appointment which was for the next day at 2-3 pm. My door bell rang about 1:45--how awesome that a company shows up when they say they will and even a few minutes early!!! A gentleman named Ekram took a look at my chimney, went on the roof, came back in and put down a cover on my floor and started to clean out the chimney. I asked some questions and he answered in a very knowledgeable fashion. He was here for about 20 minutes. When he was all done, he did give me quote on issues on my chimney, but was not at all pushy!! He was informing us. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again.

Very good. They were on time (early actually) professional and did the designated work in a timely manner.. They left an estimate with detail about potential work I could consider. Not pushy at all - just informative. I definately recommend them for chimney cleaning and inspection.

It worked out just fine. They arrived on time and did what they were supposed to do. Everything was satisfactory and I was a satisfied customer.

They did "A." They could have not been more patient with my million questions, and I had a million of them. They came in and knew what they were talking about. We've had some water problems which was causing some issues with our fireplace falling apart. It's been here for years. We're in a older home. He came in, assessed the problem and gave some recommendations. We decided not to do some of it. However, when they got into rebuilding the firebox, they strongly recommended it and we agreed. We saw the effervescence still coming through and we needed to rebuild. They rebuilt the fireplace and the face and it looks great! They were knowledgeable, very friendly and the mason guy who actually came out to build the bricks had many years doing the job. He knew what he was doing. He came in and kept it as clean as possible given that he is working with dust. It was just their professionalism, their knowledge-base, their patience with my questions and their timeliness in being able to come out with their dates. If I could give an A+, I would give an A+.
