After getting jerked around by other chimney cleaners with no shows and cancellations these guys were great!! They showed up on time and were very professional. I had this service performed after purchasing the house that was built in the '60's, so didn't really know what they would find. I'm so glad I had the service done, it really gave me peace of mind for burning this winter. They did find some minor repairs that needed to be done as well as a couple of more expensive things, but said if I wasn't burning in the chimney that often, the work could probably wait as long as I got it cleaned and inspected annually. I really appreciated their honesty and they left the house very clean even after having to pull out the chimney insert. Thanks!!

That service turned out okay. 2 cleaners came out and it didn’t take them very long. They stayed for about 30 minutes to 45 minutes. They were nice and professional.

Ekraam and Moses were right on time and very professional. They got the job done quickly and cleaned up well. Ekraam took the time to point out a couple of issues with the chimney that needed to be addressed(they were on our home inspection but we hadn't fixed them yet). Very thorough....I'm glad we chose Powers to clean our chimney.

Crew was professioanl, clean & courteous. Gave me a summary of repairs neede, andnfollowed up immediately w emailed reports & photos. We cant afford repairs now following massive remodel, but ill have them do the work when I can!

It was fine. They came out and did the work, everything was great.

They arrived on time - or near enough and within less than an hour, were in and out and while my husband has not had a fire since they were there, we assume the chimney was cleaned adequately. They cleaned up nicely as well when they left.

Excellent. Not only were they extremely responsive but they were punctual, friendly and professional. They came out and thoroughly cleaned and inspected the chimney and gave a number of recommendations for repairs and improvements. They promptly followed up with a written bid for the proposed repairs. While I declined to move forward on the suggestions at this time, they have followed up periodically to alert me to specials that I can take advantage of should I ever choose to proceed. Would feel comfortable working with them on a larger project in the future.

The chimney cleaning went well but my husband had to help manhandle an old wood stove out of the fireplace because one of the guys had recently dislocated his shoulder and couldn't do heavy work.

Guys showed up on time (actually early). They cleaned out the chimney in my house. They suggested I have the top 1/3 of my chimney demolished and rebuild due to missing inner parts (I don't remember the what they called the inner bricks). After asking some questions of them we all agreed that if my chimney is used infrequently, I didn't need the added work.

They came and did their job. They seemed efficient and professional. Overall, I am happy with them. They did try to sell me other services, which made me uncomfortable. They did a good and they were nice to deal with. They gave me a list of estimates for other work. I presume that it is for other work that needs to be done. There was a guy on the roof and one down below. I would use them again.

They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. My only concern was a small scratch on my wood stove which can be buffed out with steel wool.

They were quick and professional. Their vacuum cleaner was not working well and blew a lot of dust out inside the house. Overall they did a good job.

The crew from Powers Chimney and Masonry was prompt and extremely efficient. They took great care to make sure that they didn't make or leave any mess and were very careful about not disturbing holiday decorations. After they left, the only way you could tell that they had been here was a spotlessly clean fireplace and chimney.

He was prompt and was informative about what he was doing and answered any questions I had. No pressure for other work that was suggested, which we received an estimate for later, along with pictures. The only complaint I had was a small pile of ashes left on the mantel. Otherwise the clean up was sufficient. The wood stove has been in heavy use and has been fine. We have not had the chimney swept in a long, long time. I had them put me on a reminder call back for next year.

On time, service completed efficiently. Most of all the education i received regarding chimney care etc. was most appreciated. Would and will do business again.

The mason and crew were professional and friendly and easy to communicate with. The billing was clear. I was assured that the tucking would be okay as my concerns were centered around the concrete and freezing. The lead took measures to heat the tucking . The weather was very cold and it took a day and a half. There is some debris on the deck railing and hopefully that will clean off when it warms up. They did clean up after their-selves and the debris was a small oversight if it cleans off and not stained. By appearance all looks well and time will tell on tucking. I would hire these people again and I did appreciate the crew very much. The price and quality grade are rated as such as I do not know what to compare prices with. The quality by appearance looks very good and the proof will be in the pudding down the road.

I bought one of their coupon deals. When they contacted me to schedule the chimney sweep they said their next available appointment wasn't until early January - that more than a month out. Maybe it's because I'm new to the northwest and dealing with chimneys and that's normal, but that's a little crazy. But obviously they are very good at what they do to be so booked. Maybe you should update your coupons with some kind of indication of availability. I'll have to get a refund and see if I can find someone else that can accommodate me sooner.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out good. There were no additional charges. Everything that they mentioned in the addtional masonry work was already mentioned in my inspection, and so I felt that they were honest. This was the first time that I used them. Once they were here, they were great. They did give me an hour window to wait for them to arrive, and they only called me at the end of the hour window to tell me that they were late. That was problematic, as I had taken time off from work, to get out. That was a bit of a cluster, and I had to call and yell at them for them to come out. They could work on their timeliness, but the work was great. They were meticulous in cleaning up after themselves. I would use them in the future.

The provider arrived on time. They were professional and courteous. They did what they were asked, provided suggestions for additional work on the chimney but did not push for additional services. I would definitely use them again.
