Description of Work: My insurance company required me to get a roofing estimate - and the roofers let me know that my biggest problem was the chimney! I needed to tuck point, seal, and redo the flashing to make my chimney safe - and my house insurable. Powers Chimney was great to work with. They were able to get a bid to me within the week (most other companies I called could not even come give me a bid for 3-4 weeks). The estimator and the crew were all polite, punctual and efficient. They even came back four weeks later for a second installation of sealant. I am not sure if they are the least expensive - but they were able to work in my timeline and got the job done!

Description of Work: Powers Chimney returned in the search results for Burien, WA. According to their listing in Angie's List their service area includes "All Of Snohomish and King Counties", however when I contacted them I was told that they do not service the Burien area. When I explained I had purchased a Big Deal coupon they offered to honor the coupon with an additional travel charge due to the distance. I indicated that I would prefer to have a refund issued, they directed me to contact Angie's List since the charge for the coupon had not been processed yet, but that they would reimburse me if I was unable to get a refund. I'm only giving this experience a B since their service area implies that the location I wanted to have the work done in should have been eligible for the service.
