Our driveway was in bad shape. Horrible shape. We had a 2.5” gap from the driveway to the curb, and we knew it was way overdue. I reached out to CD Paver Management with a phone call, and Walt gave me a call that same day. We explained that we wanted to go with pavers because of their visual appeal (amazing) and so that our many trees would never break up another concrete slab, and Walt made a plan to come out to measure. Walt showed up on time (with a mask) and ready to go over logistics. After measuring, he showed us a couple of samples of paver stones as well as a book with all of the colors and styles available (huge variety!). We learned that the pavers come with a lifetime warranty (as long as you own the home) and that the pavers are expected to last far longer than other types of driveways. Needless to say, pavers are Not the cheapest option for a driveway, but we see this as an investment in our forever home. We decided to go with the Charcoal and Cambridge Blend (I think that’s the name). We told Walt we wanted to move forward and we set up a date. The crew came out on time and got to work. It would be an understatement to say that these guys busted their butts off breaking up and hauling away our old driveway and sidewalk. They came back the next day and started grading our new driveway bed. They also hauled in some gravel and smoothed that as well. Before we knew it, they were adding the final layer and they also fixed two drainage issues that should have been fixed long before we bought the house. Then the pavers were added and this process went very fast. The next day the crew came to begin work on the sidewalk and to finish up the driveway. The final day the crew came back to make our step and to clean up and rinse off the pavers. To sum it up, we absolutely love our driveway. We love it and we wish we had done it much sooner. Our home looks nearly brand new now and we couldn’t be more proud. If you are looking for a paver driveway, give CD Paver a chance to earn your business.

Excellent job. The owner, Mr. Cary is a wonderful man and the salesperson, so you get - 1.clear understanding of work 2. Exact timeframe on their availability to start the work. 3. Work gurantee etc. 4. guidance on pattern / colors 5. very reasonable rates. The crew is amazing, they work dawn to dusk, no intermittent wait time. Any issues caused by work is promptly addressed and no interference required. Our old broken and sunken trip hazard concrete driveway is finally gone and replaced by paver stones which is both functional and beautiful without making a huge whole in the pocket! I am so glad I found CD Paver Management!

This is the second time we've used this contractor. The job that they did was awesome and the crews that were on site we're truly having a good time. We were so impressed with them after they put a patio down for us that it was an easy choice to have them do this job as well. Our neighbors liked the quality and appeal of the work so much that they also hired this company to take care of their needs as well. They went well above and beyond what was expected. They took the time to see what added features they could add that would enhance and add to the appeal of the work they were doing. If you are considering adding pavers you should at least contact them, there quality is exceptional!

Walter came to our home and gave us a very detailed estimate. He was very professional and courteous and we were impressed with his product and estimate. We have decided to go with another method but would recommend him to anyone who is considering a driveway of pavers.

The CD Paver Management did an outstanding job. The estimate was provided and once we accepted the contract, the paperwork was completed and they penciled us onto their schedule. The company was able to start the project ahead of the schedule - they called and asked if it would be ok with us. The project was actually expanded - we added another area to install pavers. The job was completed before the estimated time and the quality of work is superb. Will definitely rehire this company should we have another project.

We initially contacted CD Pavers to build a pad for our new hot tub. After consulting with Walt, we decided to do the whole backyard, with a fire pit and sitting wall. The company was a dream to work with and we are delighted with our new back yard. Carey was hands on and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking into a paver project!

Cary and crew are amazing. Felt like family from the first time we met him (the owner). Same for the workers. His price is the price. No coupons, hidden discounts or hidden fees, and the lowest of all our estimates from other companies. Full respect for his crew who showcased pure joy for their job and work, who worked non stop each day through the hot sun, through the rain, and on a Saturday. Gave us great ideas on what to do, and were happy to make the results exactly as we desired. The answer was always "we will do whatever you like", with a smile. Would recommend to everyone.

CD Paver Management met and exceeded all aspects of job. On time, on budget, top quality materials and exceptionally high quality work from everyone, from Walt with his spot-on perfect design, material planning and proper site preparation for the space to Jose and crew.

Work was completed in three days, without incident. We chose the Camino Stone “I” pattern in Cambridge (multi-gray tones) for a patio in our simple little backyard. Watching these men work with such amazing attention to detail and professionalism helped put our minds at ease with choosing CD Paver Management for our small project. They took great care in providing the same quality of work and attention to detail that they would give to any large scale high dollar project. Cost was reasonable, a mid range quote compared to others we received (certainly not the highest!) but ultimately chose CDPM because of the quality communication, customer service and how these hard working men are treated by the owner. A crew that smiles is worthy of hiring, always. We are pleased with our investment, the results, and even the communication AFTER the project was complete. I was first introduced to CD Pavers at a neighbor’s house. The attention to detail as impressive so we hired them. Cary appeared almost every day to check on his 5-man crew and touch base with me and my wife to answer concerns. He had an obvious warm and personal working relationship with his crews that payed dividend in the work. We found crew members professional, personable and some very humorous…they were a cheerful bunch that went go out of their way to move several very large rocks outside the scope of the contract. We anticipated quality workmanship, as we had seen in our neighbor’s project, but was still blown away with how all aspects of the job turned out. It exceeded our expectations. We had extensive curved lines in the driveway and walkways. You have to see it to appreciate hundreds of pavers each precisely cut to form a curve or a bevel. I have hesitated to write this review for some eight months knowing that the excitement of a job just completed may fad or problems might arise. On two occasions many weeks after the job was completed, we had water drainage problems that could not have been anticipated beforehand. On both occasions a work crew came within a day to fix these issues at no additional expense. We are still blown away after eight months with the looks and functioning of our project. We have a small gravel backyard that reduced to a gross slurry of sharp rock and mud whenever it rained and resulted in a nasty, unusable area. We decided to install pavers to turn this into a usable space. We sought multiple quotes and even accepted one who flaked on us. We are fortunate that he did flake because it was then that we found Cary. Cary took far more time than that other contractors to research our needs and sit down and explain in exacting detail everything that he proposed. His professional and friendly manner put us at ease but honestly I was worried that Cary, clearly a step up from the others we’d talked to, would be crazy expensive. In fact, his bid was the lowest we’d received. Cary and team started work on time and in a few days had a beautiful finished product. He promised us that he would always return if we were unsatisfied with anything and he came through on this too. Our idiot dogs found a way to dig under the fence and hurl mud and stones all over Cary’s beautiful work. We told him about this and he promptly came back out and did another full day’s work, at his expense, to cap the areas our mischievous mutts mutilated. He even cleaned their mess after. If we ever need more paving work done, there is no question that we’ll call Cary back. We will also recommend him without hesitation to friends and family. Also, while not part of his official repertoire, the man is also a genius at calming rambunctious puppies. We’d hire him for that too if he ever takes that on as a line of work!

My driveway concrete aggregate was flaking off badly. What should I do: resurface, new concrete, pavers? I looked at all options and decided on pavers. Not much more expensive than a concrete repour, pavers would definitely be an upgrade from the aggregate driveway. July 2019 I hired CD Pavers to replace my driveway. It required only 3 days. CD Pavers representative explained both the process and the product employed in my project with actual samples, pictures and brochures. I made an unannounced visit to a large paving project in Shoreline and visited with the workers at the site. I shook hands and took a couple of cellphone photos. That’s when I decided this was my company. The pleasant surprise was how affordable the project would be compared to estimates I received from other companies. And, they had a nontransferable lifetime guarantee of their work. I also opted for the sealant spray of the new pavers and existing aggregate concrete surfaces. What I liked about CD Pavers: 1. PREP for job: Complete explanation of the scope of work and materials to be used was provided before contract signed. The contractor obtained underground utility mapping to protect lines running under and near the driveway. 2. DEMOLITION: The old driveway was removed, and construction debris hauled off on first day. Safety markings were placed at the sidewalk. 3. PAVER INSTALL: ground leveled, plastic ground cover followed by pea gravel and sand; compaction equipment used on those layers. Pavers placed in one day including sand “grout” vibrated into the gaps between pavers. Mindful of off driveway water drainage. 4. ADDED TOUCH: graciously placed a boarder along entry walkway at no additional charge. 5. HOMEOWNER CARE: Protected driveway apron, roadway asphalt, sidewalk from damage and soilage by construction equipment. Replaced a sprinkler head accidently broken during paver work. Cleanup complete and unused paver product stacked neatly in side-yard for the homeowner. Carey, the owner of CD Pavers visited the project site and inquired how everything was going with the project. He wanted to make sure I was happy with all aspects of the work to date, and wanted to hear if I had any concerns. Would I employ CD pavers for more paver projects at my home? Absolutely yes. I was impressed by the quality of the work, concern and respectful interaction with the homeowner, and affordability of the job. They do excellent work.

My experience with them was the best in my 30 plus years dealing with contractors in the real estate industry. They were easy to deal with, listened well, made great suggestions and finished on time. The job turned out fantastic and I was treated more like a friend than a client. He also went over the top to do some extra things that he knew I was going to need help with and that was an awesome surprise. After my experience I would never even consider another contractor in the paver industry. My only problem is that Cary and CD Paver Management were so outstanding that you may not believe what I write.

I approached CD Pavers after reading all the positive reviews and I am glad I made that choice. My project was handled by Walt (who works with Cary) and he was very punctual, quick to respond to my questions and came up with excellent design and helped on paver selections. I had a big event planned and I told Walt that he can start the work if he promised to get the job done before then. He assured me it will be done and they kept their word and delivered a quality project on time (see photo). The team was well talented and experienced... they kept whole area very clean every day. Also handled one change very quickly.

The company contacted me quickly and set up an appointment within a week. Reuben came and spent a whole day making my patio look brand new. There were lots of weeds and by the time he was done, they were all gone!

Carey and his staff did a fantastic job from start to finish! The price was very good compared to the other bids we received, and the work is high quality down to the small details like the pavers cut to make mitered corners where the driveway meets the street. Carey checked in on the project daily and was quickly able to obtain an additional size stone when I wanted to change the front porch design. We are very happy with our new driveway, and plan to use CD Paver Management when we renovate our the patio, walkway and steps in our backyard.

The project went extremely well. We got multiple bids for the project and Walt and his team surprised us a little with the low bid while having the highest rating on Angie's list. Then they surprised us again by being able to begin the project the day after signing the contract. The project involved clearing out over 1700 square ft. full of 10+ years of neglect. Then the team leveled and installed the pavers. This included a fire pit and and accommodating trees and structures that we were keeping in the yard. The process was very collaborative. Walt stopped by everyday during the project to confirm that things were going well and to provide helpful suggestions about how to make the finished product even better. The entire project took almost two weeks. Then at the completion of the project the owner stopped by to personally check the results and to make sure that we were satisfied. We are very happy with the result and now have an entire outside entertainment area where we previously had an eyesore and constant weeding war. We do recommend CD Paver Management and would use them again.

We had our patio done 9 months ago and I continue to receive compliments on a regular basis. Today we had a professional here installing a sprinkler and he commented on the quality of the patio. Carey came to give me a bid and thoroughly explained the process and his bid; he treated me with great respect. We were quickly scheduled and the professional team completed the job in less than 3 days! Rather than weeks of muddy mess we had a new patio in days! Though we were very simple in our design, Carey suggested adding curves to the patio and it turned out so beautiful. I cannot recommend highly enough. If you need any paver work CD paver management is the place to call! 5 stars!

From start to finish working with Cary Stephenson and his crew was a joy. Cary was professional, explained the project in detail and was competitive in pricing. We decided to go with CD because of his relationship with his crew, which he called his family. They were always on time; worked through below freezing weather, rain and snow; and completed the job on schedule. We are thrilled with the outcome and can't remember a more enjoyable and stress-free home improvement project.

This past summer I had a new patio installed. Since my professional background is in the design/construction industry with a degree in landscape architecture I drafted up design drawings and specifications for my project. Doing so would help ensure all companies were bidding apples to apples. I then did a lot of research on paving companies then solicited 7 bids from small and large companies, some who advertise in the newspaper. We met on site so I could get their input on my plans, including product specifications (paver brands, etc.). CD Paver Management’s bid was the low bidder. Not surprisingly the bids (including tax) ranged from a high of $39,082 to $21,493 ($17,589 difference). Typically, when bids are high companies have high overhead or did not understand the scope of work or were not really interested in doing the job. Additionally, when companies submit a low bid and are awarded the contract, they will submit additive change orders to try and make up for their low bid. Since you, the home owner, are already under contract and the work is underway you are usually at a disadvantage. After receiving the bids, I interviewed three of the companies to ensure their bids were based on my drawings and specifications and to hear their plan of attack. One of the companies told me they couldn’t reduce the existing stair risers from 7 ¼” to 6” as I specified. They also told me they could not replace the existing handrail and that I would have to have that done by someone else. When I met with Cary Stephenson of CD Paver Management, he assured me he could do all of that without any problems. During our multiple meetings Cary was a pleasure to work with. He answered all of my (many) questions and was very responsive to my texts. As with all construction projects there were some contentious issues that had to be resolved. Because of my detailed and thorough nature, we haggled about some items and the final price. Happy to say we worked it out amicably to a fair and reasonable solution. Cary’s crew was also a pleasure to work with. They are a hard-working group of guys. Their workmanship was really good. Having personally done some paving projects and being retired, I was on site every day and inspected their work. Whatever issues I brought up they resolved without question. They were meticulous in their work and were more than agreeable to do some minor additional work without nickel and diming me. There were no change orders except for some added scope that I requested. I was very pleased with the finished project and would highly recommend them to anybody. As an added bonus Cary’s crew was fun to work with. Roger # 1 (foreman) and Roger # 2 were really hard working and friendly. All of the other crew members were also hard working and great to work with. Carlos - aka “El Frojo” (-: was also a blast to work with. The project was done during the heat wave in August so as an appreciation for their hard work I gave them plenty of cold drinks and fruits every day. I was so pleased with their work I took the entire crew out to lunch. So, if you’re considering having some paving work done, I highly recommend CD Paver Management. You won’t be disappointed.
