I contacted Mike through email and he responded very quickly. He called back the next morning to schedule an inspection of the roof which he did that day. He gave me multiple options and described each one extremely well and I selected the option that I thought best fit our needs. It was also his best recommendation and not nearly the most expensive. Since there was a major snowstorm expected in the next days we couldn't do the repair until the snow was gone -- good idea!!!! Mike and his crew came on time and with all the equipment they needed. Mike is extremely safety conscious and made sure all his workers followed his instructions. They did a great job. Even better than I expected. I would give the quality of work a 10 out of 10. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this company. It is a pleasure to work with a professional who is proud of the job he does. Yes, I will use them again!!!!

Mike Yarkey provides a superb roofing service. His prices are fair, he is timely, the quality of the work is excellent and his team performs a thorough cleanup. Mike explained all of the options, made sure I had access to available roofing product discounts and was completely transparent in all of his processes. He made sure his team used safety equipment when working on the roof. He finished on time and on budget. Super company!

I am happy with the company. They were fine, no problems, and they were in and out in one day. They are replacing everyone's roofs. We were perfectly satisfied. I had seen his work and that's why I used him. They were in the ballpark with everyone else and they were right on time.

Were easy to work with, the price he gave us was really good, and because I knew people who have used them before I knew I was going to get good work with them. I did not even bother with 2nd estimate as we were so pleased with the estimate he gave us.

It went good; he is coming out tomorrow to complete the roof. He was very professional and knowledgable, I enjoyed talking with him.

We contracted Mr. Yarkey to install 30 year architectural shingles on our log cabin roof. Almost immediately after the installation, the roof leaked at three roof locations: north facing low pitch roof, chimney area, and low pitch porch roof. Only the chimney area leaked before he installed his shingles. We called him several times to fix the leaks. He came back and tried to fix the problem with caulking. Another leak area he said needed some external wall repair that was causing the leak not the roof. (He had never mentioned the need for the wall repair during the installation of the shingles). We contracted with him to fix the wall, but that didn't stop the leak. They were never fixed, and more leaks from other locations accurred. He told us he didn't intend to come back again. He didn't. Since then, we had three roofing contractors give us repair estimates. All said the shingles weren't installed properly. One said the shingles weren't overlapped enough for the roof pitch. Another said the wrong shingles were used and had to be totally removed and new shingles applied. A third said Ice Shield needed to be installed and wasn't and the shingles needed to be further overlapped for the roof pitch. Yarkey had apparently attempted to seal the leaks by applying caulking around the shingles. The leak from the chimney always leaked during a rain. Yarkey told us the leak came from the chimney masonry and not the flashing. The leaks from the low pitched roofs occurred mainly with a north driving rain. We were very disappointed we had spent the money to re-shingle our roof with 30-year shingles and we continued to have leaks.

Mike Yarkey is an excellent roofer, and I have nothing but praise for the job he did for me. His estimate was slightly higher than others, but I had the sense from the beginning that I would get a high quality roof and that Mike would personally supervise the entire operation -- and I was not disappointed. In the initial appointment, he carefully explained what he would do and described in detail the materials he would use. He and his associates (5 of them) arrived on time and worked non-stop for two long days. Mike was always on the site, often up on the roof himself. He kept me informed of progress and consulted me on a couple of minor points that arose during the job. The site was cleaned carefully at the end of the project. The roof looks great and is as tight as it can be. I am really glad I opted for quality over price, particularly since my house has a complex roof with unusual angles. Mike Yarkey is a class act, and he gets my enthusiastic endorsement.

They started in one day, finished in one day. Picked up everything, no flaws. He even gave me a report as to what i should possibly fix somewhere else in future. He is not a big flashy person.

I highly recommend Mike Yarkey. He is professional and shows that he cares about his work. He came to the house for a consultation, showed several examples of his work and left me with samples. Gives good advice on color options for resale. I really appreciated the fact that his company only works one job at a time - that way he is on site supervising and working with the crew. The day of the job he arrived before the crew to prep and he was there well after they left cleaning, putting things back on our deck just the way we had them. I was very impressed with the whole process.

Mr. Yarkey followed up on his quote about a week after we received it, the only roofer who did this of the quotes we received. His quote was not the lowest, but second lowest. His sincerity and professionalism were the deciding factor in our choosing him. His crew showed up exactly when they said they would. Mr. Yarkey was hands-on all day with his crew, keeping us apprised of their progress. They finished the same day and had our property cleaned up and were gone by 6:30 pm. The price he quoted was the price we paid, no surprises. I definitely recommend using Yarkey's company.

Excellent. He runs only one crew, and oversees all the work. When he's not picking up materials, he's on the roof working as well. The roof looks good, and all our leaks are gone.

Mr. Yarkey has done 2 repairs at a house in Hilton that we are renting to our daughter. Both times, he arrived promptly, provided an estimate, and offered to do the work the same day. We were very pleased and will call him whenever we have a roof problem, and would recommend him to any friends looking for a roofer.

Mike Yarkey was professional and informative. Spent time showing me pictures of his work and going over products. The warranty would have added an extra 600 to another quote I got. He was here on time before all of the workers and stayed behind after everyone left to make sure everything in my yard and deck was back in place. Top notch job. So pretty that neighbors stop to tell us how great our new roof looks!

Great experience! Yarkey Roofing replaced our roof shingles and a skylight. Mike Yarkey explained to us everything that we needed to know before getting our work done. We chose Yarkey Roofing for several reasons: Mike gave us a reasonable price, he had a professional attitude, he personally did the work along with his crew, and he is a certified GAF roofing contractor. He and his crew did the entire job in one day. They were professional, courteous, organized, and neat. I would recommend Yarkey Roofing to anyone looking for a good, professional roofing job at a reasonable price.

All went in accordance with plan. Mike kept us in the loop with his planning for iffy weather. Highly recommended.

The only down side was he was booked when we needed him, but I guess when you do good work, you stay busy. Very professional and punctual; he completed the work very quickly. He was flexible working with our schedule. Fixed problems the previous contractors left (which had tried to fix the problems several times before). May have him back soon to look over the rest of the roof, as we only had one leaky area at the time. Since we recently bought the house, and we're a good five years out from a new roof, it may be best to have him to do general checkup over the whole thing in the mean time. When it is time to redo the roof, we will definately have him out to quote the job.
