Beau arrived on time. He figured out that a certain wire was needed to get our printer working. Also, even after the printer was working we could not print an official document. Beau installed a program that allowed us to print that document. Beau answered all our questions.

No problem with the service. Unfortunately, the problem came with their depositing my check in an ATM. Seems the ATM didn't correctly process it, and although I told Genesis there was nothing wrong with my check, that I had checked with the bank, she still tried to deposit in ATM instead of taking it to bank. I didn't realize this and when she said she was charging two bad check fees, I paid them immediately, thinking I could get a refund from bank for making a mistake. After getting the check back from her and taking to bank, we realized all she had to do was actually deposit the check instead of putting through ATM. I then called her and offered to split the $50 in bad check charges, but heard nothing back from her. I will never use them again.

I purchased the deal and had the service performed the same day. I told them the issues with the computer and I wanted them to check for viruses. They were prompt thorough and very professional. They did find some viruses my virus protection missed and fixed a other minor issues. The next day I remembered I had forgotten to ask them about an issue I was having that was intermittent. They told me when it happened again to call them and they would go back in and check it. They found the problem and gave me suggestions since I was not willing to to uninstall and reinstall Firefox at that time. I probably could have found a deal that was a little cheaper but they gave great service and I would definitely use them again.

Our small business called Genesis at 8:30 am and their technician was at the office by 1:30. He was professional and knowledgeable about how to fix our computer so that our business could remain in operation. The cost for all of his work was extremely reasonable, and there is no doubt that we will call Genesis again if we ever run in to computer trouble. I highly recommend this company for excellent service with reasonable prices.

I called genesis computer and talked to Lisa about my problem with my computer and she was very knowledgeable about all of the issues with my computer and she said she would be happy to come over and pick it up and do the repairs. Lisa also said she would return the computer to my house the next day with everything fixed which did indeed happen, I am so glad I called genesis computer repair because I had used the computer repair service before at a big box store and they made it worse. If you need your computer fixed give her a ring and she will get your computer fixed quickly and affordably.

The scheduling all the way to the installation went very smoothly. This is the second time I've utilized their services.

My computer had started acting crazy and then (horror of horrors) I was unable to get on the internet w/ any browser. Phoned Lisa and she remembered me right away! This was the second time Lisa and Beau have done a great job. Beau came to my house and worked his magic. After many screens, deletions, lists, etc., I was back online! Beau is a great young man, very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. This is the second time I have used Genesis to solve my computer problems and they are the only company I would ever use. I Highly recommend this family-run company!

Lisa set up my new laptop which included the (2) emails which were very challenging. She transferred all documents and files. Lisa also came back and picked up the old laptop to destroy. Lisa was very professional, patience and knowledgeable. I would definitely refer Genesis to friends and co workers and I would use their service again in the future without getting (3) estimates.

I first called Genesis when my desktop computer wouldn't boot up. I really liked that they come to your house, and that I could get a Saturday appointment. Lisa came out that day and diagnosed the problem, and was very friendly, professional, and competent. Unfortunately the hard drive was dead. I paid $60 for the visit ($80 minus $20 Angie's List coupon), and gave Lisa the broken computer and also an older computer that I no longer use, so she could copy all the files and emails from them onto a portable hard drive, and then destroy the old hard drives. Genesis was able to recover my files and emails from the broken computer (thank goodness), and copied them onto a 1GB hard drive that they sold me at a fair price. However, when I looked on the portable hard drive for the files from my older computer, there were very few, and no emails. I emailed Genesis about this concern, asking if this was perhaps an oversight, and was told that they had tried three times to copy the files, and those were all that could be accessed. Lisa said the hard drives had already been destroyed. I was disappointed to hear that because I would have liked to have had a second company take a crack at recovering those years of emails that are now lost. Genesis had given me the hard drive containing my files on a Saturday; I emailed them about the missing files the next day (Sunday). While Genesis was very professional in other ways, I felt that they should not have destroyed the hard drives until at least a few business days had passed, or until they heard from the customer that they were satisfied with the work product.

We were having trouble getting the internet connection on a new computer we bought. We called Genesis and the response was quick and they have been prompt for all appointments. Lisa has been able to solve any problem we are having. We decided to replace another computer and Lisa transferred just the data we wanted from the old computer. She set up wireless printing to all computers and installed new software. We have also worked with Beau who installed a wireless adapter. Both Lisa and Beau are a pleasure to work with and I will definitely call them with any problems we have in the future.

I called on a Monday and Lisa told me she could have a technician out Tuesday afternoon between 12:00 and 2:00. She explained the fee policy, which was far more reasonable than other providers I've used in the past. The technician (Bo? Beau?) called at about 1:30 to let me know he was on the way. He identified the problem quickly and had me up and running in about an hour.

This company is great. They fit me in because I had a severe computer virus which specializes in capturing passwords. They came out in the afternoon and did a clean sweep of my computer and now I am back up running with no viruses. I highly recommend Genesis to all and would use them again in a heartbeat.

I was informed by Dell (my extended warranty was still in place w/just a few months left) after their auto check of my computer that the drive was in bad shape and had to be replaced. They sent me a new drive. I phoned Lisa and she explained the procedure. Lisa removed my computer, got all my files on a portable backup (which I previously purchased but decided the 79 page manual was too much for me) Installed the backup info onto the new drive, cleaned the old drive which I had to return to Dell and returned my computer in tip-top shape in 3 days. I am very pleased with the repair and will certainly use Lisa and Genesis for future computer needs.

Beau was fantastic! When I made the determination to not repair the computer as the cost to repair was higher than a replacement computer, Beau walked me through the different options I could consider for still getting access to my printer and all the files stored on the dead computer. Beau configured my laptop and printer for wireless operations, downloaded and updated old drivers, and explained how I could use my laptop as a docking station for all my other peripheral devices that were supported by the old desktop. Beau was patient, professional, and at all times courteous. I would definitely use this company again and would feel good recommending them to others.

I have never used Genesis Computer Repair before but I most certainly will in the future. The computer expert arrived on time and did a wonderful job of installing my battery backup, registering it online and making sure I knew what to do in case of a power surge. The last rain storm did a job on my computer so I decided a heavy duty backup was needed. The help I received was excellent and I highly recommend them to you.

Tech determined the problem - returned later with a used CD ROM drive. Installed it and made several new settings. PC works fine now. I am very happy with this experience withGenesis.

Her son analyzed the problem. Departed, located a used d-drive and made an appointment for the installation. Young man was knowledgeable, well spoken - a nice person.

None of the three printers I have would print, despite much time (weeks off and on) trying to find and correct the problem myself. I called Genesis on a Thursday. Lisa promptly called me back, and I explained to her that I had something I needed to print ASAP. My last resort was to go a library on Friday and try to get it printed, as I needed it by Saturday. I was hoping she could get to me Friday morning. She surprised me by offering to come out that same Thursday night, if I did not mind a late appointment. She arrived promptly on time, and was able to find the problems between my two computers and three printers easily and quickly. She was done in an hour or less. Lisa is a very friendly, courteous, and customer-oriented person. I enjoyed meeting her, and then also talking with her a little after the work was done. I was very grateful that she was responsive to my need for quick service, and I was able to get printed what I needed for that Saturday. In our conversation after the work was done, however, I think we both forgot about any discount. (I believe I was eligible for any of three.) I did not remember it until she was gone. However, I thought her service charge was still reasonable and fair, especially for coming to my home and on such short notice.

She has a great personality. She knows what she's doing and she explains things really well. I use her about once a year.

Lisa arrived on time for both appointments. She diagnosed our problem with our old computer and was very honest about not taking our money to repair it. She recommended replacing it and copied all information from the old computer to the new one. She also made sure that our wireless internet was up, the printer was working, and the other devices in the house were working as well before she left. She also came back out promptly 7 months later and cleaned up our new computer to make sure it runs faster and fixed an email problem we were having.
