Description of Work: They replaced the ice maker, and fixed the defrost fan. The employee was supposed to come between 10 AM and 12 PM, and he showed up about 12:30 PM. The employee did not have an icemaker on his truck, and had to come back again. After he replaced the ice maker, they had to come back a third time, because the icemaker did not work. Once they came back a third time everything was taken care of.

Description of Work: y washer had stopped and showed failure code. The technician came and checked it and informed what the problem may be. What I appreciate most is that he did not try to talk us into an expensive repair right away, but to wait and see what happens. Washer is still doing ok so far. |Will definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: I called GH Appliance Repair and George arrived within the scheduled time. Prior to arrival I told him that my freezer was not freezing properly, a sheet of ice forming every five or six days which completely covered the bottom of the freezer and then leaking on my hardwood kitchen floor. He told me over the phone what the problem was, confirmed the diagnosis upon arrival and went to work fixing the problem. It took him about forty minutes from start to finish. He charged $65 for the actual diagnosis and $55 for the repair for a total of $120. It was worth every penny, especially considering the fact that my home warranty company couldn't get anyone out for the repair for at least two weeks. I would definitely use GH Appliance repair again. Thanks George!!!

Description of Work: Our washer tub came off the bracket during an unbalanced spin cycle. The young man arrived on time, was extremely polite and professional and fixed it quickly. As it turned out, there was a follow-on issue due to an irregular electrical connection which caused the control panel to not operate properly, but we assumed was due to it not being fully repaired. He returned and trouble-shooted until he discovered the problem to be our outlet. He did not charge for the return trip or the remedy. Great company! Very impressed.

Description of Work: Had them come out to evaluate my Bosch Oven. Was told that the part was no longer available, but that they would search for it. Never heard back. They responded when I would call to check, but when they had a follow up and were supposed to get back to me 2 different times on locating the part, I never heard from them. Totally non-responsive to follow up.

Description of Work: My dishwasher had come loose from its mounting. A general home-repair man had been unable to fix the problem. The G&H guy made the repair in short order. He knew exactly what to do. It was a simple job, but required special knowledge. I was very pleased, would use them again.

Description of Work: Very prompt and very professional. My only "complaint" (if you could call it that) is that it really only took him about 15 or 20 minutes, start to finish, to diagnose and repair the issue. The price seemed a bit high for that kind of time investment. We were extremely grateful to have the leak fixed, though, because we were heading out of town. The first couple of appliance repair places I tried couldn't get to us for days, and we considered just waiting until we got home to investigate the small puddle of water under the washing machine. Grateful he was available and that we didn't wait. Three weeks of a "small" leak could have been disastrous!

Description of Work: I called GH and immediately spoke with a representative, I explained why I was calling and that my oven would come on but I was smelling gas, he told me what he thought it might be, that the glow bar was probably burn out. A day was set for the service to be done. Bobby arrive on the day that was scheduled, he called before arriving, he was very professional and friendly, upon looking at the oven and turning it on,the glow bar had burned out, it was replaced and checked out before Bobby left. I was very satisfied with the results and experience.
