I had G.H. look at a dishwasher in my rental property in Yorktown...it was locking unexplainable and wasn't usable. They quickly responded and determined that the main console needed to be replaced, and we talked through the options of replacing the main unit vs. replacing the console on the existing unit. In the end I had them replace the console, and haven't had a problem since. Rates were reasonable and they were very responsive and professional. I would definitely recommend them for appliance repair.

They installed this pump in my washing machine and it broke within a few days. They sent a service man out that afternoon, took out the pump they installed initially and refunded my money. Professional when they came out and honest about their mistake. They were more than fair with telling me what the problem was generous about the refund.

Provider called at the end of the day to schedule service for later the next day. Gave a window of time where they would have the tech show up that worked for me. Spoke to George. No problem on the scheduling. Be aware that they charge a $65 service call. This is NOT applied to the final bill. You'll pay this whether they tell you what is wrong and they can't fix it (order parts, etc.), or if they fix it right on the spot, which was what happened in my case. I usually avoid companies that levy this kind of charge. The way I see it, that should be the cost of doing business and not incurred by the customer. So, it is a personal choice. The tech that came out (Will) was great. He replaced the ignitors with universal ones that weren't too costly and the actual labor charge was fair. The ovens work fine now, and the work comes with a 90 day warranty. I'm not sure if the techs are 1099 contractors, and the $65 charge is what the company gets, and maybe that is the reason for the service charge, but I'd give them a call again. One thing I would check on would be that if they had to order parts and come back once the parts were in, would that be another $65 service charge?? If so, then I would not use them. Can't see that being the case, but might want to be something that you check on the phone before committing. All in all, a positive experience.

I simply wanted people to be aware of how they treated me even though there was no way I could be a customer of theirs.

This will be the fourth time I call GH Appliance out to fix the same chest Freezer. I contacted them earlier this summer because my Chest freezer died and was out of warranty. GH came out and fixed it replacing some component I cannot remember. That price was almost $200. t\The freezer died again a fews days later. Another guy, I believe his name is George, found the mistake the first guy made and corrected it at no cost. Now the freezer rain for about a month before it died again. Another call to GH Applicance Repair. This time is was a heater component in the freezer that needed to be replace at about $150. My chest Freezer died again in less than one month. Another call to GH Applicance Repair. This time the defrost timer died. Cost about $82 to fix that. Now, the freezer died this labor day weekend. I lost more money in food. I will call them this last time and them just buy a new freezer

I'm sorry I forgot the technician's name, but he arrived on time and was very pleasant and professional. He fixed the problem with out refrigerator but didnt think to check the condenser coils until after he took apart the freezer. It needed cleaning, so it wasn't a problem-just took longer.

Our five-year-old dishwasher stopped cleaning and the problem seemed to be connected with the water intake. I called G H Appliance Repair and Will was able to pretty much diagnose the problem over the phone. We scheduled an appointment and Will asked for the dishwasher model number so he could bring the replacement part with him. Sure enough - the problem was just as he had suspected. He quickly made the repair, and was wonderfully cheerful as he worked. Friendly, fast and proficient - we will definitely call G and H should another appliance repair issue arise.

I was at my rental unit having a variety of maintenance work done and coincidentally the tenant indicated that the refrigerator/freezer was not working. Based on reviews on Angie's List, I called G H Appliance Repair at approx 9 AM on Friday AM, and the technician (Will) showed up around the noon hour the same day, quickly assessed the problem and completed the repair. He was professional and friendly, and called me when he was on his way. Responsiveness was superb, as mentioned previously Will was terrific. I will not hesitate to contact G H Appliance Repair for all future appliance repair needs, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing this service!

George with G H Appliances responded to my request to schedule a service call within minutes of the request. He was able to schedule a call between 8 - 10 the following morning, and showed at 8:00. Generally when given a schedule window, I expect the technician to show up toward the end of the window, but that was not the case here. George greeted me at the door in a friendly and professional way and immediately got to work on the dishwasher. After a short series of questions to gauge the situation, he assessed the likely problem very quickly and began the repairs. He had the parts he needed with him, informed me of the price for the part, the visit, and the labor before commencing with the actual repair work, and gave me an idea of what might have been the cause of the issue. He made the repair, cleaned up after himself, and was finished and out the door in an hour. I would recommend G H Appliances for any appliance repairs or servicing, and I plan to use them from here on out for that purpose.

He was very professional. I think he came out on a weekend and he identified the problem and he said he had a simple solution and the labor and parts were cheap. He was in and out in a short time. His professionalism stood out. He was cheaper than i anticipated to spend.

The technician, William, was punctual, courteous, and professional. He quickly analyzed what the problem was and gave me a reasonable quote. He honored my 10% off coupon as well. Service and repair was complete in less than 3 hrs. Will be using this company again for any future repairs.

I called in the morning and repair person came in the afternoon, in the three-hour window I'd been told. He was professional, knowledgeable, found the problem, and fixed it.

George is great. He is very knowledgeable, professional and performs work quickly and efficiently. He came to look at my refrigerator's ice maker and quickly found the problem and repaired it. He ensured it was working to spec. He was also called in for a washer and a dryer. He repaired the dryer on the spot because he had the necessary parts with him. The washer was given a good once over and it was determined that it was terminal and the cost to repair would not be worth it. George is honest and hard working, I will recommend him to friends.

George and his staff did a great job. They quickly identified the problem and fixed it. The techician not only did timely repairs, but answered questions and gave pointers for best use of the stove. Great job and I would use them again!

I spoke with George and he scheduled Bobby to come to the house the very same afternoon. Bobby called 30 minutes before his arrival to let us know he was on the way. Bobby asked us to describe the issue, he took a few things apart to take a closer look and quickly discovered the issue. He didn't have the part on the truck so he called a local source, found one, and picked it up. He returned quickly and in no time he had the problem fixed. He was courteous and professional. This is the second time I've used this company and will continue to do so.

Fan was replaced in the refrigerator. Will also patiently explained my dryer settings. (Can we say always keepyour manuel?) All was completed with the benefit of a really nice person to work with!

George repaired my Samsung dryer that had not been drying properly. He quickly found that it was the heater, got the part from his truck and replaced it in less than an hour. I did call one highly rated provided on Angie's List and they did not repair Samsung. Glad I found G&H on Angie's List.

Excellent service. I called that morning and a serviceman was at my house 2 hours later and repaired the broken pump in my washing machine. I did not have to wait for anyone to come back with parts and take more time off of work. The service man, Bobby, was professional, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after himself. He answered every question I had about the washer. And it only took an hour!! I was very pleased with this service and would use them again!
