G H Appliance Repair

This review covers two routine visits--initial diagnosis visit and follow-up repair visit . GH scheduled diagnosis appointment responsively ( next day). Cost $70. Diagnosed malfunction. Part required ordering (at about $285). and arrived about 10 days later. Part availability took a bit (older washer) . Part arrived and they came to house and installed ($50 labor). Pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of the GH team. My washer is working well now. Cost is more than I wanted ( but isn't everything) but justifiable based on market, diagnosis, part ( control board) purchase and subsequent installation. Both visits were schedule in a three hour window which was made both times. I will reuse GH for my future appliance work. I gave GH and "A" rating on the price since the "controllable costs" for diagnosis and subsequent repair labor seemed to be roughly industry standard. Parts cost was a pass along from manufacturer. They are VERY transparent and open about their charges and costs. No Bogus stuff. Note; Reps were dressed neatly in "typical" work clothes. No "uniforms"--casual appearance but neat and clean.

I called G H Appliance when they first opened and they were able to come out on same day. Bobby called about 20 minutes prior to arriving - very professional and quick to figure out what was wrong (within five minutes). He explained how much the part cost, the diagnostic fee and his labor fees. Bobby had my washing fixed in a matter of 10 minutes (if that). I was very pleased with the service and would definitely call them in the future. They also warranty their work for 90 days. Bobby gave me a magnet to put on the refrigerator (which is nice for quick reference). I would recommend them to anyone in this area - they will definitely be my go-to company should anything else go wrong with our appliances. Thank you for saving me hundreds of dollars for a new washing machine. Hopefully I can get a longer life out of this one!

Scheduled to come out the next day and showed up when scheduled. They did a very good job!

Called G&H on a Friday morning about 2 issues I had. Spoke with the owner who said he could have someone out that day. The tech came out and explained what was wrong with both appliances he said he could order the parts and they would be in on Sunday and they could put them in on Monday. Received a call Sunday night with a time for Monday and the tech arrived on Monday and installed the parts. This company is GREAT and I would use them again and recommended them to other people.

Professional, polite, and reasonably priced. Initially the office staff was quick to answer. After I explained the problem, they explained their capability, and pricing policy. They schedule me for a same day three hour window, and told me Will would call on his way in. Will called precisely ten minutes before the earliest scheduled time and arrived promptly. He and his training partner were polite and outgoing. Will explained the trouble shooting plan, and what they were doing as they worked. Will also explained if thee is a re emergent problem, they will do additional work for the parts only. GH offers a 90 day guarantee. I had a great experience with GH. I will call them again for any other major appliance problems, and I will recommend their services to my friends.

We had a brand new microwave and it kept shorting out. They fixed the electrical outlet and changed the fuse in the microwave. Took them about an hour to do the repairs and I haven't had anymore problems. They are very good at their job and knowledgeable.

Have several higher end rentals & always dread the phone or e-mail explaining of a problem with one of my houses. 12/11 had a nice s/s Frigidaire dishwasher (their top of the line Gallery model) purchased & installed by Lowes. Tenant calls saying water won't stop entering dishwasher even when dishwasher is off and eventually starts to flow out the door onto the kitchen floor. After several google searches (very helpful) to figure out what the problem is and if it required a plumber or appliance repairman..... Now knowing an appliance repairman was my need (and I don't know of one) I went on Angie's List and I always read the reviews of the customers. G H Appliances had over 150+ positive reviews! Called George and he confirmed the most likely problem that needed to be fixed. I then gave him the tenants name & address to call & schedule the repair appointment. George asked for model # so they would have the part on the truck during 1st (and hopefully last) visit. Since I was never on-site my tenants said G H came in, confirmed & fixed the issue! The tech after called me direct and explained the issue, it was fixed and the price. As I instructed to e-mail my invoice they did and everyone is happy. I just love when stressful issues like this work like you hope they would. Thanks for a smooth repair from start to finish!!

I had several appliances that needed repair. He was able to fix the dryer and the fridge on the spot (had the parts on his truck!). The dishwasher was also broken, but he said it was probably better to replace it since it would be a pricey repair and it was a bit older. They were supposed to come between 2 and 5, but they were ahead, so he called to see if he could come a bit earlier. He was very punctual. The techs were well-dressed and very professional. Once they left, I noticed a very minor issue with my dryer (something about the way it was put back together made it squeak...NOT a big deal, but I didn't know how to fix it), so I called in the morning and he had another tech at my house within a few hours. It was a different tech than the day before, and he was also very friendly and professional. Prices were fair, and the fact he was honest about my dishwasher made me feel like I could trust this business. I know who I'll be calling for appliance repairs in the future. I highly recommend this service provider.

It went well. I called on Saturday and got a Monday Appointment. After I did an Internet search I did some troubleshooting and called to tell them what I found. We slipped the appointment one day so they could get the parts. I had a 1200-1400 appointment window and they arrived within the window and called enroute. They performed the repair in less than 30 minutes. They found a part which was refurbished and the savings covered the service call costs, so it would have cost the same amount if I did the repair myself. I based my choice on Angie's List recommendation and it paid off!

Very professional company. The owner was very punctual in calling when he said he would, and scheduling service around my crazy schedule was no problem. The technicians were very polite and competent. When it was discovered I needed a pump, they needed to return to install it, but that was no problem. I thought I had a slight leak under the sink, so they returned again with no hesitation and checked it out. Turned out everything was fine. I would definitely call them again anytime!! Thank you!!

When I called this morning to explain my situation he was very patient and explained to me in detail about what to expect. Technician came at the early part of 9-12 window. Bobby was really professional and took the time to check EVERYTHING before replacing the parts. He took the time also to explain what he was doing to my husband about work being done. This company is reasonable, affordable, friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

It went very well. I called to make an appointment and they came out the same day. They have very prompt service. They have great professionalism, the service was fast, they fixed the issue and I've had no problems with the appliance after that. The technician was very courteous and professional too.

After inspecting the washer, technician found that the control panel board was bad and needed to be replaced. Nothing was wrong with the machine itself. He was honest and up front, answered all of my questions and gave me great advice. While it was going to cost $400 or $500 to fix, I have a great, well made washer/dryer set and could not buy a new one for that price or that quality. Did research and he was right and I researched the cost of part...he was cheaper than the manufacturer or any where else.

Great job! Same day service! Called in the morning and had an appointment in the afternoon. Technician was prompt, knowledgeable, worked fast, and answered all questions. Both washer and dryer working perfectly again. This is the second time I have used GH Appliance Repair and their service both times has been superb! $70 for service call plus $75 for about 2 hours of labor.

Repair man arrived on time, was very professional and courteous. He explained what he would do based on my description of the problem. He repaired both the dishwasher and the freezer in just under two housr. I was very impressed. And the price was right.

Landlord replaced garbage disposal, but did not remove dishwasher drain tap. G&H removed the drain tap.

I had purchased a used washer and had some issues and they came out and fixed it, very quickly and efficiently

George took the ice machine home with him to repair. Brought it back once repaired and the part for refrigerator had come in. Both were repaired well. Of special note, instead of ordering the refrigerator part from subzero (which is the refrigerator we had) George knew that the part was the same from GE costing $100 less so ordered that part for us instead. Nice that he would go to the effort of saving us $100!!

I called George (the owner) yesterday. He sent a technician (Will) out this afternoon. Will did a great job and identified the 220V outlet as the problem. He noticed that the dryer door was loose. He took it apart and tightened the hinge. It works great. He then checked out the fridge and determined that the chilled water dispenser in the door was frozen. He said it was a problem with the GE freezer doors. He installed a small heater and now it works fine.

What stood out to me was they were reliable and persistent.

I contacted the company online on a Sunday afternoon and George called me quickly to learn more details and schedule somebody to come out. The repairman came promptly on Monday and was very friendly. The problem was diagnosed and because they didn't have the part on hand, they arranged to come back the next day. They came back the following day and fixed the water valve. The door latch had to be ordered so that took an extra week but they called when the part arrived and quickly scheduled the repair. They again showed up as promised and replaced the part. Their service has been great and the fact that George called me on a Sunday really impressed me.

George was amazing with our renters. I highly recommend him and his company. Will be using him again.

He was on time. got to work and had it fixed in less than an hour. Works great.

At first he said a part was bad, but then when he realized that I could get it cheaper or that I didn't think it was bad, he then said it was something different that cost an awful lot... took the service payment (because if it were cheaper, he would lose money). Let the fridge run for a day and has YET to shut down.... with no repairs done to it! hmmmmmm

G&H Appliance Repair responded very quickly to our call for a repair on our dryer. In fact, a technician came out the same day we called. He fixed the problem quickly and explained what had caused the malfunction in our dyer. He was courteous, professional and informative. The work came with a 90 day guarantee.
