G H Appliance Repair

This was for the repair of a gas dryer in a rental house we own so we needed to work around the family schedule of the renters. The firm scheduled arrival within 24 hours of our call, arrived on time and called before arrival, cooperative and went right to work. Fixed the problem and had needed parts on his van. Was neat and cleaned up afterward. Pleasant and clean and clearly knew what he was doing.

I called on Monday afternoon, got a call Monday night and was scheduled for Tuesday. The repairman (Bobby) came out and assess the problem -- the computer board was shorted out (due to a thunderstorm). They ordered the part - told me approximately how much the total would be. I got a call Wednesday night to say that the part was in and scheduled to come out on Thursday. Brandon was in and out in about 30 minutes! Everyone I dealt with were kind and professional! .I will definitely use them again! Highly recommend!

The technician was able to figure out the issue very quickly and replaced it with a part from his truck. He was hear less than an hour and we were all set.

Georges, the owner came by for a service call to fix my GE fridge/freezer which was loosing cooling capacity. Replaced the heater and defrosted the evaporator. Tested the unit. Do not look any further for a appliance repair company with excellent service and good pricing. I will not use anybody else!

This company was extremely helpful and professional on the initial call. They came when they said they would. Repairman had to leave to get needed part, usually that would worry us, however he left his tools here and came back in a timely manner. Our refrigerator is repaired and we are happy. We will be using this company again in the near future.

I scheduled through Angie's list online and received a call within 5 minutes. Tech came out the next day on time as scheduled. Tech was very quick and knowledgeable ordered part and replaced it. Dishwasher works like normal again. Would recommend A+

The circuit board to my oven shorted out last week. I then bought a board thinking I could fix it myself until I saw the burned wire. Thinking I would have to replace the harness, I went to Angie's List to find a professional. I sent G H Appliance a message via Angie's List this past Sunday. I was amazed that they responded back to me that same day! I then forwarded them pictures of the problem (shorted out circuit board with burned wire) and they told me that they could repair the wiring so I wouldn't have to buy a new harness (saved $50 there), but I would also need a new board. I told them I already had the board so we talked yesterday morning and they came out today giving me a two hour window. They were on time, fixed the wire and had my stove up and running in 15 minutes. Their service tech, Bobby, was very polite and didn't waste any time getting the job done. I'll be sure to call them again should a need arise!

Brandon was knowledgeable and if he didn't know he called dispatch for further assistance. I've had other Co. but Techs did just enough and poorly at best. GH Appliance & their Tech Brandon what more can I say This was the type of service I've been looking for several years but sadly other providers didn't seem to get this simple concept.

I had to work the day George came to fix my water dispenser and clean my dryer vent. My mother was here and was able to let him in to do his work. She said that George was very punctual and polite. He got right to work and was able to diagnose the problem with my ice maker very quickly. He checked the whole dryer vent system and cleaned it. He was very thorough. No complaints from my mom so none from me! I wish I had contacted him years ago to deal with my water dispenser! I can fix a lot of things myself, but couldn't figure out what was up with it. Now, my water dispenser is working like a charm! Thank you! I would highly recommend GH Appliance repair!

Outstanding Service!! My oven went out at 2:30 p.m. on a Thursday with company coming for the weekend. I called George at G & H Appliance repair and after giving him my model number and the symptoms he said he was 99 percent sure it was my control board, unfortunately the most expensive part of the oven. However, he said if I gave him the go ahead by 3:00 p.m. he could overnight the part and have it the next day and if that was not the problem I did not have to purchase the part. After a quick check online for the cost of a new convection oven vs. repair price it would have cost me over $1,000 dollars to replace. So I thought a $400.00 estimated charge was very reasonable since the control board part cost $271.00 which was less than I could have purchased from Sears at $303.00 As promised, G & H came out the next afternoon within their time window with an advance call. The problem was the control board. Labor $50, service call $70. And all fixed within 24 hours with the part needed not even in town when I first called! Above and beyond the call of duty in cost, service, and professionalism! George, you now have a lifetime customer for all my appliances. Thank you!!

They did a great job for me. I thought his service was really good and I would use his service again.

I called on Monday and requested a service call (not an emergency). Appointment was scheduled for the next day! I was given a three-hour time frame (1-4p) and received a call from Brandon at approx. 3:30 advising that he was on his way and he arrived in just a few minutes. He asked me to describe the problem and helped me unload the freezer (wasn't much in it because i had a large bag of ice there to keep it cold). The fan had frozen up and the fridge was not defrosting properly. He melted all of the frost and removed the back panel. He took the fan apart and advised that he could fix and lube it with the proviso that if it happened again we would have to replace it. The fridge immediately went back to normal (yeah). He cleaned everything up and said that if it failed again he would come back and not charge a service call. It was a wonderful experience and the charge was less than half of what I expected. The fridge is still running just fine.

They have done work on our dishwasher and refrigerator. They have done excellent work.

It went well. The technician discovered the problem very quickly, which happened to be a very simple fix. He was in and out in no time and the price was right.

Not really sure the problem is fixed but I don't feel it is totally the repair technicians fault since Samsung really didn't have an answer either. Repair Tech says I do have 90 day warranty to call back if the problem persists. Waiting to see what happens.

George called me back within 8 hours of when I left a message about my need for an appliance repair. I had ordered the part but just needed someone to install it. We made an appointment for later in the week and he said he'd call the night before to make sure the part had come in. Sure enough, he called and confirmed and told me when the technician would be there the next day. The tech also called about 30 minutes before he came to confirm. The tech was very professional and efficient and he was done in less than 30 minutes. I would definitely use GH Appliance Review again!
