David came right over and diagnosed, repaired and cleaned the unit, quickly restoring cooling air for my renter's growing family. He was fast, friendly and helped me schedule further servicing for the second cooling unit and the heating unit. The whole experience couldn't have been better, and I'll establish a recurring maintenance agreement with AC Masters.

On the Friday before Memorial Day weekend (first week of the year with hot days) our downstairs AC unit stopped blowing cold air. Though they had a full schedule for the day, AC Masters was able to fit us at the end of the day. I chose them because of the reviews on Angie's List. What a great pick. The technician was able to diagnose and fix the problem in less than an hour and he had the replacement part on the truck.

Our ac went out, so we called AC Masters to come out and look at it. Were told that we needed a new system (which we expected). The owner came out to walk us through the various systems, and they installed it the next day. Since it was the middle of June, their expediency was appreciated!

The install took a little longer than expected, took about 4 days total. However the cost and time was worth it! We lived in our house for 6 months when we realized that oil heat is VERY expensive. This heat pump has kept our house more comfortable and at a lower cost! The technicians worked hard and made sure they got everything done correctly (The reason I didn't mind it taking 4 days). The sales guy who came out to take measurements for sizing the new heat pumps and write up the quote was very knowledgeable. He was not exactly a "people person" or "approachable" but he offered the best quote out of the three I got. I will use this company in the future to perform annual maintenance on my units.

Obtained estimates from three companies. AC Masters was the only company to analyze in detail if old unit was sized properly for the two current upstairs rooms plus a potential additional room. They actually determined that the old unit was oversized for the two current rooms which explained why humidity was not being driven out effectively during summer time cooling. With the additional room, the current size would be adequate. The two other companies provided "calculations" that determined I needed a larger unit for the two rooms plus addition. Since my profession is a mechanical engineering, I performed my own calculation and determined AC Masters analysis was accurate. The company was extremely responsive to installation schedule. The owner came out before the job start to ensure understanding of staging and verify installation needs. At the day of installation, an impressive amount workers showed up to perform the job. The team members had very evident differences in experience levels but were well managed by a lead technician. Careful setup (floor tarps and staging) kept our house in a clean state throughout the activity. Majority of the job was finished in two days and followup visits were required to finish and tweek the system balance. This company was very impressive with professionalism and follow through that is very hard to find in this day. Highly recommend AC Masters.

I have used A/C Masters once before. I called Ric and advised him as to the situation with our old downstairs unit ( 22 yrs old ) which the A/C unit outside was failing. We had already determined it was replacement time. Ric came out and we went over all the options. MANY different varieties of systems on the market and Ric took the time to make sure I was aware of what is available. I had previously received 2 quotes, both of which were way too pricey for my needs. Also, due to the time of year, some prices were lower than normal due to sales going on from the manufacturer. Carrier has always been a very reliable system for us and the price was better than competitive. We scheduled the install for a week later. I was given an initial time for the crew to arrive, and they called to say the were coming ....right on time. They examined the old system, disconnected all and began working. The new system was installed, along with a new thermostat control inside and some updated exhaust piping (code requirement). The entire process took about 4 1/2 hours from start to finish. After testing the system completely, they cleaned up the entire area where they had been working and departed. The next day, Ric called with info to drop off, including all warranty documentation and registration with the manufacturer - which A/C Masters completed on my behalf. I received a letter from A/C Masters regarding an inspection (required by the city - ugh) and we spoke by phone to complete the requirement.... they scheduled for me and all was ok !

I contacted 5 different contractors for estimates. Javier from AC Masters showed up promptly, asked questions about how the space would be used etc. Of all the contractors I spoke to, Javier seemed the most knowledgeable about the ductless systems and what would or wouldn't work in our space. He provided a couple of options, pro's and con's of each and an approximate price for each so we could determine which would get the job done AND fit into our budget. Of the 5 contractors, AC Masters and one other contractor quoted a larger 24,000 BTU system at approximately the same price. The other three contractors quoted smaller 18,000 BTU systems for considerably more. We selected AC Masters after reading other postive reviews on Angie's List. The crew showed up as promised on the date scheduled, were very respectful of our home (and new carpet), kind to our dog and very professional. They completed the installation as promised. We will not hesitate to call AC MAsters for any future heating or cooling needs!

The service person showed up on time, did all his work expeditiously and thoroughly, and was very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to explain the ventilation system and to try different settings for our dampers so that we could have the maximum cooling effect in the summer. He also washappy to answer questions about how we might improve our ventilation system in the future. He was very careful in his work and wore booties in the house to avoid getting dirt everywhere. I highly recommend this company; we have used them for several years now, and they have been great.

They were professional, timely and courteous. They offered us a number of solutions at a variety of price points. The solution we chose was not cheap, but it has met our needs.

It was very good. We had them before Angie's List. They were a referral and we didn't rate them because didn't naturally pick them up on Angie's List. We've been in our house for 11 years so when my neighbors recommended them two years ago, we had both units replaced and they've come out since. They've done routine services for me and they are good. It's a big house and we had more efficient units put in. We recommend using them because they are good. They came when they said they are going to come, they did the work and I have no complaint.

So we recently needed to make a decision on purchasing a new heating system. After getting quotes from many companies around the area I settled on the Mitsubishi system. After looking at the local dealers list on the Mitsubishi site I came across A/C Masters. I called them up and asked for a quote. Their quote not only beat every other quote I had but they also had the best system configuration. So we committed, a date was set (within a week of our commitment) and they came to install the system. The install was 99% error free, with the only error being a faulty outdoor unit. The technicians were awesome though staying until 9PM troubleshooting. They made the decision to replace the outdoor unit with a new one. We have had the system now for a couple of weeks and couldn't be happier, in fact as I write this it is 25 degrees outside and we are quite comfortable inside.

Technician did a thorough inspection of our duct system in our two story home. He also repaired a breakaway duct in our downstairs bathroom. He did an excellent job of securing and resealing it. No more cold air leaking in!

During the snowstorm and extreme cold weather the last week of January, our main furnace would not heat despite the fact that it ran continuously. The company with whom we have a maintenance contract came out on 1/28/14 and misdiagnosed the problem as a faulty vacuum pressure switch. After replacing the switch, the unit still failed to heat. On 1/29/14, I contacted them regarding the fact that we still had no heat and they advised they were closed due to the weather. I then contacted AC Masters and explained my situation. Within 90 minutes, their technician Kris, arrived at our home. Kris determined that the real issue was a clog in the drain line that was causing the vacuum pressure switch to keep cycling on and off. He cleared the clog and flushed the drain lines for both units. He put the original switch back on the unit which functioned perfectly once the clog was resolved, thus saving us the cost of an expensive and unnecessary part. He also got our humidifiers set properly. I was impressed with Kris' knowledge and professionalism, and with A/C Masters' quick response to my call despite the fact that many businesses were closed due to the weather. We will definitely use them in the future for our heating and cooling systems.

A/C Masters does a great job. Kris is thorough and explains all of the options. He has been able to fix various HVAC issues with low cost options.

Heat pump failed in one of our HVAC units. Called on Thursday to set up an appointment for Friday. The provider arrived on time and diagnosed an electrical short very quickly. He also checked out the units to make sure that there were no other problems.

went ok replaced a part that was failing, changed some of the filters and again they forgot to bring the right sizes for the filters. Glad I bought some. Other than that it went well, no issue with the technician.

The defroster board had to be ordered so service required two visits from AC Masters technicians. They were on site as scheduled, professional, and informative. Based on their performance I will be signing up for their twice yearly maintenance plan.

Robert solved the problem and got the heater running and was able to come out a few days later and install the part to match my furnace. Very professional and reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.

The workmen were very professional. The work was well done. Through Angie's List we received a Senior discount that made the price very price competitive with other quotes I received. I will look to A/C Masters for future heating/air conditioning work.

I called because we had a problem with the furnace not providing heat. The same day I called the technician came out. I was surprised because in my previous experiences involving heating or cooling problems I had to wait a couple of days before someone arrived. I called in the morning and the technician arrived around 4:00 p.m. I'm sorry I can't remember his name but he was very professional. He was able to determine the problem which was minor and fixed it on the spot. I found this company on Angie's List and forgot to print out the coupon. It was good to find out that they do give military discounts so I was quite pleased with that. I would definitely use this company again.

Very professional, but the price was a bit higher than others. Went with another company, but have nothing negative to say about these folks.

Exceptional service! Responsiveness was immediate, the character and professionalism of the work team was excellent. All companies should emulate this team. All members of this company demonstrated quality customer service, from the person answering the phone call to the technicians who completed the work; it was so refreshing and made us feel confident that the job was being done right. They expedited the delivery of the part that needed to be replaced and they kept their word in every aspect of the communication they spoke to us. Initially, we called another company that we had used in the past; they came to our home, took $89 for a service call and gave us a quote of approximately $2000. We never heard back from them; that's when we decided to once again go to Angie's List; we are glad we did. We will use this company for our AC maintenance. We were so pleased with their service! I sent A/C Masters a direct message through Angie's List on 10/21/13 inquiring on their services and a short description of my need. They never responded.
