Description of Work: We have an annual service contract. They check our heat pump twice a year and came out during the spring when it froze (not their fault - installers did not correctly install/insulate unit - never use Jimmy's Heating and Air or VEI builders). While not inexpensive, they are responsive, will trouble shoot an issue until they have solved it and are honest.

Description of Work: Repair duct lines that were down. To my surprise, one line was beyond repair.

Description of Work: AC Masters responded to our totally dead Heat Pump/AC unit. Assessed our needs and offered several options. After we made a choice they showed up on time and installed a new unit, tested and cleaned up in a very timely fashion.

Description of Work: Duct cleaning, and added electronic air filter and UV scrubber for main HVAC system. While here, they found a drain/condensation pipe that was never installed correctly (wasn't even glued) and repaired, and added mastic to all the exposed ducting--all within the original estimated price. Great work and very nice and professional install team.

Description of Work: They recharged an airconditioning system and replaced the starting capacitor. Unfortunately the capicator contacts were lose so it burned out again the following year, and had to be recharged again. However, the following year I used Hot Boys. They found and fixed thecoolant leak andreplaced the capicator. So far, so good!

Description of Work: This service was part of the twice a year maintenance plan we have with AC Masters. They were the ones that installed our new HVAC System a little over a year ago. That was great and when we had a question that same night, the on call service rep drove all the way from Williamsburg to make sure there wasn't something wrong and that we understood the operation correctly. They are always professional and we'd recommend them.

Description of Work: They gave me a quote for replacing my HVAC system. They came to my home, looked over my system and discussed my options. They were prompt, thorough and professional and provided a detailed contract by email within 24 hours. They had the lowest price of the 5 companies I contacted. In the end I used a different and slightly more expensive company with which I had had a previous very positive experience.

Description of Work: I wanted to use them for my regular service for my hvac; they have done service in the past and have done well. Unfortunately, they are not able to schedule a routine service appointment after 4 pm because that is overtime for them and they save those times for breakdowns. It seems that to use them for routine service I would have to take time from my business to accommodate their schedule. I scheduled with another company without a problem, but would have rather used this company.

What he did didn't fix it. He came back Tuesday and did something else he thought might fix it. It didn't fix it. Wednesday he came back with

Description of Work: We were very pleased with their services. Our upstairs air conditioning was not working... they fixed it and we signed up for their twice a year service contract. The technician was quite knowledgeable and we look forward to working with them in the future.

Description of Work: originally, one of my household A/C units stopped working (came with a new house and was 8 years old). A/C masters got the compressor running and checked the charge. They told me to see if it would begin cooling after a few hours. Due to a couple of days where the temperature dropped, it took a bit to realize that it was not working properly. Replaced the unit with one supplied by A/C masters, after doing a lot of on line research and making some calls of my own to other companies. I hired these guys originally because of the 'A' rating on Angies list and was not disappointed. Despite having to replace my unit, I think I got a good deal as well as a number of professionals to install it.
