Called on a Saturday afternoon, hours before closing on our house, with a leak under the kitchen sink and toilet that would not stop running. The response was prompt - they came within one hour of our call and he (believe his name was Leroy) was courteous and very thorough in his work. We did pay time and a half - but, that is to be expected as it was a weekend and emergency - needed it done so that our closing would not be delayed. This is the third time they have come to our home - would not hesitate to call again. Good work!

David arrived on time to repair our outside water line that had split over the winter. He finished the job quickly, at the anticipated price, was very friendly and good with my dogs. I will definitely use Woodbridge Plumbing in the future.

David arrived promptly and proceeded to go over home inspection contingency report to make sure all items were known to him and would be completed accurately. He was thorough and did a fantastic job - he also fixed the work of a previous plumber we had hired who did not complete the job to the satisfaction of the inspector. We will call on them again, if needed, for our new home.

I'd used a plumbing company from an online service and it was a dreadful experience. The plumber arrived with a helper, looked at the work I needed done (the water was coming from both my shower and the tub faucet in both bathrooms), and said he didn't have the part but would try to order it (it turns out the part I needed was a diverter). He called me the next day and quoted $348 for the part. I knew I was being ripped off and told him to forget it. Shortly after I signed up with Angie's list and found Woodbridge Plumbing and my experience with that company was such a relief.

Initially, I expected to replace the entire water heater (RUUD PowerVent 50 gal, natural gas). When the repairman arrived, Michael Branham, he expected to replace a "conventional" gas water heater. He immediately recognized the unit, and explained to me how "really special/unique" this unit was. It would have nearly tripled the original estimate. Michael then proceeded to inspect/diagnose this unit. During the inspection he discovered a leaking drain valve on the unit and a leaking 3/4" pressure relief valve. He also discovered the real potential problem with the water heater was the "unique" thermostat. The uniqueness and specialness of this unit as compared to a standard gas water heater account for the price of the parts. Fortunately, he had all of the parts required, and was able to finished the repairs in a timely manner. Overall, his professionalism impressed me the most. Additionally, during the initial phone call with Woodbridge Plumbing, the girl who answered was courteous and understanding. She scheduled the appointment rapidly. Absolutely recommend the Woodbridge Plumbing and will tell my friends!!

We hired them based on Angie's list. They did was exactly what we wanted them to do. They compensated for the height difference between the old floor and new hardwood floor. The overall work was good.

We found a small leak in the basement had been leaking for some time. We consulted Angie's List and found Woodbridge Plumbing. They sent out a plumber the next day who quickly found the leak and replaced a short length of pipe. He was on time and courteous, explained everything he was doing, and answered our questions. Unfortunately, he had to cut out a sizable piece of drywall to get to the leak but he did so carefully so that the drywall repair will be easier. About 45 minutes of work.

I was very worried at first when it sounded like this had become a very complicated job, but David kept me calm and spoke to the carpenter and they arranged a way to make it work. I really appreciated the brainstorming. I felt like David only wanted to fix it right and he was trying to save me money and time. I was very impressed with the whole process.

They were a little on the expensive but very thorough and confident. One guy did all the work.

The project went well overall. They were here when they said they would be and fixed the problem.

There was a work crew of 2. They worked quickly and kept us informed of what they were finding and what they were doing. They replaced the old seal under the toilet and found that our toilet had been installed improperly (many years before we moved into the house). They reinstalled it properly. It's hard to explain exactly, but the toilet as originally installed did not line up properly with the pipes in the floor. The toilet now sits crooked on the floor (slightly) but it works great! If I wake up a 2 am and have to use it, I don't care if it's crooked, I just want it to work right and it now works properly and for the first time in years doesn't clog. They seemed to have also stopped the leaks. (We would need to pull out a downstairs wall to check, but the dripping noises in the wall have stopped). The tank also fills in a reasonable time now whereas it used to take 20 minutes. The only downside, they were 45 minutes late due to a previous job that lasted longer than scheduled and I had to call the company to find out why they had not arrived. (They were supposed to arrive between 1 and 3 and arrived between 3:40-3:45). I would have preferred if they had called us to let us know that they were running late. They also left some wet trash in the bathroom trash can which surprised us (splut!) when we pulled out the liner to empty the can! The latter was a minor annoyance at worst. I would certainly hire this company again and I WOULD recommend them to friends.

They always show up on time. I don't have to wait for them. They always call me back right away to schedule an appointment. They do a very nice job. They are a very dependable company.

I called at 8:00 am Nov. 18 to make an appointment, but they said they could see me today to fix my problems. They called at my office to inform me they were on their way (I asked them to do this so that I would not have to wait around). I arrived when David from Woodbridge Plumbing showed up. I showed him the problems and the new utility sink and faucet that I wanted installed. He immediately unclogged the bath tub and sink. Then he ran water in both the tub and the shower in the second bathroom to determine where the leaks in the utility room were coming from. He found that the bath shower nozzle was put in incorrectly and fixed it so that it does not leak. The shower was due to a need to re-caulk the shower doors, which I will have done by a tiler (Woodbridge Plumbing does not caulk or re-tile). David then went to work putting together the stainless steel utility sink and the commercial grade faucet with sprayer. They work beautifully and my dogs have never been cleaner or happier with their bathing experience.

I compared prices and they had the lowest. They do an excellent job and are reliable and trustworthy. They went out of their way to find the part for my faucet which saved me a lot of money.

Woodbridge was going to replace 2 toilets and replace 2 vanity/sinks with pedestal sinks, plus we asked an estimator to visit to give an estimate on exterior drainage or sump pump installation i.e., a significant amount of work. After taking off from work and wasting a half day waiting, I gave up and canceled both the scheduled work and the estimate.

It went very well, and I was pleased with the service. It was not a complex job, but I was impressed by their efficiency, attention to detail and care with my home. One of the fellows even pro-actively repositioned a door mat to ensure he was not stepping on our carpet on a rainy day. When the hardware replacement on the exterior faucet did not fix the problem, they suggested I will likely need additional work but did not press. They also, quite unnecessarily, did not charge me for the hardware. I would recommend them to anyone.

Everything went great. Turned out the leak was caused by the air gap, so removing it fixed the leak.

Great! Called with a minor leak and told them we wanted to replace our old unit because we knew it was too old to repair. They asked for specifics and gave me a price for the new water heater + installation + haul away. Then one of the plumbers got on the phone to tell me how to turn the water line and breaker off/on so we would have hot water until they came out the next day. Michael showed up within the time frame and was very professional and left no mess - he even cleaned the floor around/behind the water heater between removal and installation. Great company to deal with - definitely my plumbing company!

Late last night, after using the garbage disposer to get rid of leftovers in our fridge, my kitchen sinks started backing up. I knew it wasn't the disposer, since there was no food in the water. After trying to plunge it, leaving it over night with drain cleaner, and trying to plunge again, I knew I needed to call a plumber. I've heard the commercials for Angie's List, so I thought I would check it out and see if I could find a plumber to come out today. (Being a military family, we have moved every two years over the last twelve, so we never have any clue who to call and trust in these situations!) Based on reviews on Angie's List, I called Woodbridge Plumbing at 8am this morning to see if I could schedule a same day appointment. The woman I spoke with first offered me a time slot of 4-6pm. Since my son has soccer at 6pm, I asked if there was any way to have someone come earlier. She said, "How about between 1-4pm?" Sure!!! Now, while I was very happy at getting an appointment that worked with my schedule today. I was a little worried about what it was going to cost me. At about 9:30am, I received a phone call from Woodbridge Plumbing. He said, (now get this!), "We are running AHEAD OF SCHEDULE TODAY, can we come out to your place EARLY?" Seriously???!!! Is this place for real??? :) Of course, I said! Greg and Scott arrived around 10am. They quickly got to work, answered all my questions about what they were doing, how it worked, what should I do to not have this happen again, etc. By 11am, they were finished, cleaned up and on their way! I cannot even begin to say how much I appreciated the expertise, kindness and overall fantastic job done by Greg and Scott, and therefore Woodbridge Plumbing! The cost was exactly in line with what I had 'hoped' I would have to pay, and I so glad to not be surprised with any 'emergency call' fees. In fact, I even received a $10 discount because I found them using Angie's List! I will definitely use their services again, and am so glad I found Angie's List!

I asked Woodbridge plumbing to repair a length of sewer pipe that had been damaged by tree roots. Scott Via and the two workers were very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the first day was spent digging 6 hours 7 feet down in the wrong spot, although I indicated that previous plumbers had shown me a different location. The plumbers were confident, however, and, since they did not have a locater with them, they dug until they needed to leave. The second day, however, they brought a locater and found the problem four feet down. They repaired the pipe, filled the holes and seeded with hay. Although the job lasted longer than anticipated, Woodbridge plumbing demonstrated that it matters more how a contractor works when things go wrong than when all is perfect. In spite of the problems, they remained professional, did a great job, and did not try to charge more for the extra labor. I did not even need to be on site the second day.

We had a great experience with Woodbridge Plumbing! Michael was our plumber, and he showed me how to use a tool to fix clogged drains in our basement. He also removed a very heavy concrete utility sink by himself, which broke in half while he was trying to remove it. He went above and beyond the call of duty, and I was very happy with the quality of the work. I will be calling Woodbridge Plumbing again!

Excellent! We were expecting to be told we needed a new toilet and instead the plumber fixed the tank for only $20 (or so) in parts.

It took them 4 visits to totally finish the job. I had to do research myself on what type of hardware he needed for job, and actually felt I was educating the company. A representative was really unhappy when he had to come out to finish the job. I will not use this company again.

Contacted several plumbers and was frustrated with their inability or unwillingness to discuss selection of pump and backup system. Companies just wanted to take my money without a good discussion of alternatives. Called Woodbridge and got all my questions answered: type of pump needed, recommended capacity, merits of different backup systems. Got advice on how do the job economically! They arrived promptly within 24 hours after order and did the work quickly and professionally at 40% below the highest estimate. Highly recommended.

The price listed was the price paid after the $10 coupon was applied. No estimate was given. They require that small jobs like this be evaluated and repaired at the time of the initial visit. A person answers the phone on the first call. There was a mix-up with scheduling because they came out several days too early when I wasn't home. I subsequently called and confirmed that they had the correct day and time scheduled but when I called again the day before the appointment to confirm they had the appointment scheduled for the wrong day later in the week. The receptionist was able to make an adjustment and have a plumber come out the correct day and time. Greg was the plumber that came to our home promptly. The repair consisted of tightening the hose bib with a wrench. We had already tried this on our own, but we had been afraid to tighten it further for fear of breaking the pipe. Greg was knowledgeable and explained he knew it could be tightened further because he could still see several threads on the pipe. The major fee was their minimum labor fee of $97 plus travel fee $34.00. This seems like a lot to spend to essentially tighten a nut, but it's understandable when you consider they have minimum charges to cover their contractor's time and gas. We really appreciate their honesty that it was a simple repair and not inventing a more major problem. The other fee was about $2 in materials for the PVC pipe to extend the drain pipe. The receptionists on the phone, Greg, and even the plumber who came out on the wrong day were all pleasant and eager to accommodate our needs.
