It went wonderfully. The follow up was great, they called back to make sure anything was going well still. They even installed a new drip pan which was great surprise.

My water heater was leaking copious amounts of water all over the basement floor when I called the after hours number on a Sunday. The on-call operator told me up front what the after hours cost for the visit would be before I consented to dispatch. The plumber arrived on time and quickly and efficiently diagnosed and fixed the problem. The valve had calcifications and needed replacing. It took 45 minutes of my time and $40 beyond the after hours fee to fix the problem. I will be using this company again!

We'd had a water problem in the room below the kitchen for several weeks, and suddenly noticed a lot more water there. Realizing it was a pipe problem, we called Woodbridge Plumbing that evening, and they were there promptly the next morning. Scott Ecklin was the plumber they sent out, and did a fantastic job - very thorough and professional. The drain was cleaned out and a large section of the old pipe was replaced. They left everything neat and clean as well.

We have been using Woodbridge Plumbing for at least 15 years for all of our plumbing needs, including a kitchen renovation and a bathroom renovation. On November 17 we called them because we had received a huge water bill (excess of $500) indicating a leak in our water line between the water main and our house. They informed us that they could not come (even to give us an estimate) until the first week in December. We got someone else to do the job the next day. After the pipe was exposed we were informed by Fairfax Water that we were leaking about a gallon of water a minute. At the time we called Woodbridge Plumbing we did not know that. Fortunately, we did not wait for them and got someone else more responsive.

From start to finish the experience was fantastic. Everyone from Woodbridge plumbing was very professional and we are incredibly pleased with the results. From the start, it was our intention to replace the old Cu pipes and hopefully address the low water pressure. Woodbridge listened to our concerns. The repipe was our main concern and the work was very neat, clean and effective. The replacement sink with an enclosed pump has been great as it really helped eliminate the musty smell we had in the basement. Our old pump was vented into the basement. Woodbridge had recommend this be replaced and that it would help with the odor. Huge improvement! The water pressure of the house was also dramatically improved with the new tank (well system) and pressure switch. Overall, the cost, service and results were great! I would recommend Woodbridge Plumbers to anyone!

It went well. He was able to repair and clean the existing part (stuck from lack of use) instead of replacing the part (a substantial savings). They were able to come within 24 hours and it took about a half an hour. I would recommend them for plumbing repairs.

Process went very smoothly. They got there within the start window time. There was a concern early on about the wiring since it barely reached the water heater, but they managed to hook it up. They cleaned the carpet after removing the old water heater. It took about 1 hr to complete.

Our experience with Woodbridge Plumbing was great. Our upstairs guest shower began to leak into our basement when we had a house full of guests, and needed to be repaired quickly. Woodbridge Plumbing came out within 24 hours, diagnosed the problem and had the shower leak repaired within an hour. The technician was courteous, explained the problem and how he intended to repair it before beginning the work, and he also gave us some advice on how to keep the problem from reoccurring when we renovate the bathroom next year. We will use them again and would recommend their business to others.

I contacted Woodbridge Plumbing on Monday, October 18th after discovering over the weekend a slight leak underneath the old hot water heater. I was told the bill would be $1050 to remove the old one and replace it with the new one. We agreed the plumbers would arrive at 12:00pm (noon) for a job to last between two and three hours. The next day I waited at 12pm, then at 12:30pm I called to say no one had yet arrived. I was told they were getting lunch and be there in about 10 minutes. They arrived at approximately 1:20pm, about 50 minutes after my call and more than one hour after the promised 12pm. They performed their job well with no leaking of water. They took care to cover their feet and protect the flooring. The job was completed by 3:30pm. They also installed a pan underneath the new hot water heater to protect from future leaking. While this is fine, I wasn't told this was an extra part costing nearly $30 more. I accepted the addition without protest, but was never given the option to decline it.

The young man who worked on the toilet was friendly and professional. He tried several things to make it work but the pump and float switch were bad.

Woodbridge Plumbing Inc. showed up on time, Put down plastic everywhere to cover up my new carpet. Removed old gas heater, and installed a new one in 2 hours. The installer mike cleaned up everything, even cleaned up water drops the old water heater made. Mike also took the time to show me the different settings on the new gas heater. Highly recommended company.

We had been having problems with our dishwasher filling with water when it was turned off and it was flooding our kitchen. It was a holiday weekend and on Labor Day we woke up to more water. We called and got the answering service which told us that the technician would call us but we needed to understand that because it was a holiday there would be in minimum charge of $262 for the first hour. We were scheduled to leave on vacation the following day and didn't want to leave with the possibility of coming home to a house filled with water. The technician, LeRoy, called and came out within and hour. He was professional, thorough, was able to fix the problem and correct several issues that may have led to the problem in the first place. Although the cost was high we were told it would be and understood it was because it was a holiday. Not only was the problem solved but when the work was done several smaller issues were resolved as well. We have a list of plumbing repairs we need to have done and will call Woodbridge Plumbing to help with them when it is not a holiday. We were very pleased with the technician and the company.

They called me the next day, and while I asked if someone could come out and give me an estimate for work I want done, the person just kept on quoting me prices over the phone. He grilled me about water lines, and locations of walls, etc. I told him it would just be easier for him to come out and see it in person, that way I could get a good estimate. The guy just kept talking over me. The prices he quoted me (hourly and then every 15 minutes) were outrageous, and without even seeing the setup/situation. Also, I had already seen the new toilets I wanted at Lowes (Kohler) but was told they sold Toto and that they were the best, and on and on and that if I wanted to use other brands, then I would have to pay them (their outrageous hourly rate) to go pick up the items at Lowes, or I could go get the toilets myself. I was trying to sort this all out, but the guy just kept talking over me and ignoring my questions. I found the whole interaction extremely frustrating. I would not call these guys for work at my house. If it was that hard to deal with them on the phone, I can't imagine what its like in person.

The coupling is located near the back wall under the corner sink in the laundry room between drywall and foundation wall. We had noticed a buildup of mold on the drywall under the sink and found the leak when we cut the drywall away to investigate the cause for the mold. But even with the drywall gone and the cabinet door removed it was a tight space to work in and we had cleared the deck in anticipation of having to remove sink and countertop. But the technician took care of the problem without any additional disassembly and in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the quick and professional service. After having had a string of bad luck with the service trade we decided to give Angie's list a try and we are not disappointed! Woodbridge Plumbing has been added to the rolodex.

We noticed water dripping from the light in the kitchen this morning when my wife took a longer shower. We just purchased this home and were nervous about the problem. I checked Angie's list and saw fantastic reviews for Woodbridge Plumbing, so I gave them a call. The were very polite and caring on the phone, and were able to schedule a technician to come out this afternoon between 3 and 6pm. They called at 2:30pm to say a guy was on his way, and he arrived shortly thereafter. He was able to diagnose the problem as a leaky overflow gasket in the tub and fixed it within 10 minutes, completely non-invasively! He also noticed that our tub faucet had a persistent drip (something that had irked my wife) and offered to fix that as well while he was here, which he then did very quickly. I asked him some questions about my kitchen sink, which he recommended replacing, and said he'd install it if I bought one in the next 30 days as a continuation of the current service to avoid extra charges. I will probably take him up on the offer. Overall, he was very polite, knowledgable, timely, and helpful. I couldn't be happier. I found the plumbing company we will be using for all of our future needs.

My bathtub faucet would not shut off completely. The faucet had been recently repaired by Nelson Best from Helping Hands Handyman service. Mr. Best came out and did not have the cartridge necessary to complete the repair. Because I needed the repair done that morning he recommended that I contact a plumber and offered to reimburse the cost. I contacted Woodbridge Plumbing and told them that I needed a 1225 cartridge replaced in a Moen faucet. They initially told me that the soonest they could come would be the following day. However, when I explained that I had to leave town as soon as possible due to a death in the family they were able to schedule me for that some time before noon. They later called to say they would arrive before 1 pm. The plumbers came at noon, replaced the cartridge and left by 12:10. Update: My tub faucet began leaking again in April 2011, I contacted Woodbridge Plumbing concerning the new leak. They quickly called up the information concerning the original repair while I was on the phone and assured me there was a one year warranty. They scheduled a plumber to be at my home that day. Their plumber showed up on time and quickly fixed the leak.

It went very well. Quick, efficient, and friendly. Couldn't ask for better.

I attempted to replace a sink faucet but was unable to remove the old faucet, which resulted in a leak. I found Woodbridge Plumbing on Angie's List for an emergency job to stop the leak. The plumber responded quickly, arrived early, and managed a temporary fix to my problem. Another plumber replaced the faucet a week later (a non-emergency appointment). He also fixed a problem with my pipe and made a helpful suggestion for a future repair. The plumber ran late on his prior job and arrived a couple hours outside my window. I understand that other jobs may take longer, but a call would have been appreciated. Despite the late arrival, I would use Woodbridge Plumbing again. Both plumbers were very professional while at my house and explained their work to me clearly. It has been a few weeks and I am very pleased with the quality of the work.

They were about 30 minutes later than the scheduled arrival time. They did call to tell me that they were hitting a lot of traffic however. Overall, they were very professional but I was a little surprised at the added "travel fee" of 22 dollars. They are out of Woodbridge which is not very far away (I liive in Springfield -- less than 10 miles away).. Those sort of fees are unusual in my estimation and should be disclosed to the customer during the initial phonecall.

It was very quick and easy, and they did exactly what was asked, quickly and easily. The plumber was even willing to work around all the crap under the sink, rather than have me drag it all out. The whole job took 15 minutes, tops. It may well be that I'm grumbling about price unfairly, but $154 for 10 mins of work seem excessive, although I'm told that's the going rate for a plumber. FYI, you can buy the tool he used for about $350 (look up "Drill Style Drain Cleaners"), so if you have a wife or daughters w/ long hair, you might consider such an investment.

The technician arrived early and did the work in MUCH LESS time than was quoted when I called the office. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and fast. I think he could have done the work with his eyes closed!!! I definitely had the impression that he knew his trade and knew it well. He arrived fifteen minutes early, looked at some other plumbing problems that I wanted to ask him about (tried not to ask too many as I knew he was on a schedule too), gave great advice and then performed the repairs in less time than the office had quoted me even with the time spent giving advice. I was really impressed with his knowledge and skill. If all their employees are like this one, I would recommend them to everyone. A truly great company that is customer oriented. They are even attempting to locate a toilet lid for me to replace my cracked one. This company is truly top-notch!!!!

Two plumbers arrived and quiclky isolated the problem to a faulty diverter valve. They removed the valve and explained how it could be either replaced or how the faucet would function without the part. Decided to go without replacing the (unneeded) part. Faucet works great now (flow fully restored). They were in and out in about 10 minutes including cleanup.

The project went well overall. The only glitch was a miscommunication between me asking for an estimate and them not telling me that they operate on a time and materials basis. We had a poor cell-phone connection and I attribute the miscommunication to that.

Trap removal and 50 feet of snake did not clear the blockage so the plumbers went into the basement, located the drain pipe and cut it open. 14 years of accumulated sludge oozed out of an improperly sloped drain pipe. They cleared it and then repaired the pipe. They properly covered everything in the basement and then cleaned up well.

They came in to repair something I tried to fix. I Broke off an existing water spigot out behind my house and therefore needed someone to come in and find the line in my wall and tap into it and sauder it back together. It was in the brick foundation of my finished basement. They connected it and covered the small hole in the wall with an access panel ($15) I ouldn't have taken it if I knew about the cost since I will also have to repair the drywall. They said they would arrive between 9-12 and I saw them at 10:15 and they finished by 11:45. Great job and nice workers. I took advantage of the coupon but still didn't like paying a $22 travel fee, especially since they were the closest plumber listed at 7.1 miles. Overall I am very happy and will use them again and again.
