Description of Work: Replacement of two 1984 builder installed vanities in the master bathroom and hall bathroom.As part of a general update of the house (painting, carpet, hardwood) we also wanted to update the master and hall bathrooms.We had replaced the flooring with tile and new toilets. We also wanted to replace the vanity in each bathroom.The vanities were purchased on-line. The one vanity was a simple replacement (except for those annoying water pipes that ran directly out of the floor). The other vanity was a 36-inch vanity, but the sink was offset to the left.

Water was leaking from a kitchen faucet and there was water underneath the sink, so the person came and checked on it. The faucet was broken and the water was actually coming from it, so he put in a new faucet.

Description of Work: They dug up our yard and replaced a sewer line that was being damaged by a tree. Since then, we've used them regularly for the past 15 years. Most recently, they came and replaced my garbage disposal.

Description of Work: From the estimate provided by Scott to the work performed, for the most part, by Rex and Bobby, we could not have been more pleased. Scott responded quickly to our request for an estimate to replace our polybuylene piping throughout the house and to replace a flexible outside gas line with metal. Of three estimates I obtained, his was the lowest. In fact, it was about $2,000 lower than an estimate received from Cropp-Metcalf, with whom I have a maintenance contract. One issue I had though was that on the Angie's List listing for Woodbridge Plumbing, it says that Seniors receive a 10% discount. When I asked Scott about that he said that the discount was limited to $25. This became a no-issue as he agreed to install a new shower fixture, a new kitchen faucet, and a new bathroom sink bowl for no additional charge. In addition, he did not charge extra to pull a County Work Permit for the job. I contacted Scott on 30 Jan to award the job and work began on 1Feb. The work was performed by Rex and Bobby, except for one day when Bobby had to be replaced by John. Rex and Bobby were incredible as a team. Both were very professional, knowledgeable, and considerate. We were without water throughout the day, but they made sure we had at least one operational bathroom went they left the job at night. They were careful to protect our furnishings as they worked, they kept damage to our walls, in which to gain access to pipes, to a minimum, and they cleaned up after themselves prior to leaving each night. The job was completed in just under three days as estimated. I decided to add a whole house water filter to the job. They came back on the 9th to install it. While here they removed an old outside faucet and painted the new gas line. This job had all the expectations of turning into a nightmare. However, Rex and Bobby made it a rather painless experience--almost pleasant! Thanks again to Woodbridge Plumbing, and especially to Scott, Rex, and Bobby for a job "Well done!"

Description of Work: I use Woodbridge Plumbing for plumbing services. They have been in business I think since the mid seventies. I have used them for two homes in the last thirty years. The last time I used them was probably six months ago to replace the guts on the leaking toilet and also repaired the sink because it was not draining properly.

Description of Work: Called to replace a shower valve which was causing our shower head to leak. They came out and replaced the valve, and I also had asked them to replace the shower handle (knob components that control the flow of hot & cold water to the shower head). I knew where our main water shutoff was at, so that was helpful and made the job quicker I would think. I did mention that we saw them on Angie's List and he said we would be getting a discount, which I had actually forgotten about.

Description of Work: My water heater went out, or so I thought, since we had no hot water and the water heater was 17 y/o. I called 10 plumbers to see if anyone had any appts for that day. I started calling businesses listed on Angie's List, after an hour or so of calling I finally called Woodbridge Plumbing. They were very responsive and had someone at the house to replace the water heater in a few hours. During the install I discovered there had been a fire in the electrical box that provides power to the water heater, as there were fire burns up the wall. I then needed to call an electrician. I started calling electricians on Angie's List, but I couldn't find anyone to come out while the plumbers were there. The technicians who were there provided a name of a contractor they usually work with so I called them. They were onsite in 30 minutes and repaired the box so the work could be continued. I was very happy with the service and would use both businesses again.

Description of Work: Replacement of 75 gallon hot water heater in a single family home.

Description of Work: The Woodbridge Plumbing Company helped us through a difficult experience during the Christmas holidays. We had a completely clogged drain in our kitchen. We learned that the pipe was broken under the foundation of our home when the technician tried to snake the drain clear. The plumber who came to our home was not only honest, he was professional and a true expert in his trade. He was able to fix the drain in a reasonable time using his experience and skill. The plumber exposed the stack and rerouted the drain, he also reconfigured the double bowl sink drain assembly. The drain is working perfectly and we are 100% pleased with the work and the professionalism of the technical expert and the company. I would like to add that everyone I talked to during this experience with Woodbridge Plumbers could not have been more helpful or courteous.

Description of Work: The main water pipes for the front and back of our house were dripping for quite sometime. I checked Angie's List and this company was very highly rated, so I gave them a call. I also mentioned that my kitchen sink's faucet system had not been working properly almost since the time we installed it a few years ago. We could not use the little hand shower hose, because it would make the pressure in the faucet go down or cease entirely. In short, Scott fixed everything and it is still working extremely well. No leaky pipes and washing dishes is a snap. Since I don't know anything about plumbing, this is what it says on my invoice: "Installed PRV, rebuilt front and rear shut-off's to hose bibs and removed diverter from Kohler K/S faucet.. PRV = 325, Boiler Drains= 13.00, Addl labor= 78.00 Total = $381.00 - $25.00 discount. " For the rebuiIts, he used brass replacements.
