Excellent! Arrived right on time and went right to work. Very professional, did an excellent job.

An excellent experience from start to finish. This is a very friendly and professsional company. The estimator made an appointment to inspect the proposed job within two days of my telephoning the office. His estimate was detailed and fair. The proposal was the second lowest of four. The work was scheduled very quickly; only a few days after the estimate. Two electricians (one apprentice and one Journeyman) arrived right on time with all necessary materials. The lead elctrician advised me that we would be without power in the house of about four hours while he did the work. His time-estimate was "spot on". The total time for the work was about 6-hours as promised. The electricians were very friendly and professional; they went right to work and never took a break until the work was finished. This electrical work was as professional as I have ever seen from an electrician in my 40-years of being a home owner.

Installation of circuit/outlet was superb. Arrived on time. As in prior experience, the staff was vdery professional and courteous. Only issue was that they had to cut holes in dry wall to run power line to ciruit box and they told us that we would have to get someone to patch holes. After they left, I couldn't help but they, "Yeah they are electric workers, not dry wall specialist, but shouldn't repairing the dry wall be part of the job. Other than that, everything was great.

Excellent! The two-man crew came in a started knocking out what I needed done. The cable outlet install turned out harder than first thought. The installers didn't complain a bit...and came up with a creative solution to the problem. The crew did leave a little bit of mess behind (wire ends and such)...but they did a pretty solid job.

The team arrived on time, were very friendly, courteous and professional. Completed the job promptly. And gave me an Angie's list discount over the telephone estimate I had received initially.

The guys arrived on time and were very professional and friendly. They even had to take down a kitchen cabinet, removed everything from it and put it back. They cleaned up very well after themselves and the work was excellent.

I called last week and Bill Root Jr. set up an appointment for this week. He told me an electrician would be out between 9am and 9:30, which they were. They were most pleasant and quickly removed and replaced an existing fixture. They gave me a demonstration of how to remove and replace the cover to change the buld.

I called and Mr. Root was able to give me an estimate over the phone for these common operations; there were two different estimates on the ceiling fans, depending on whether the installers found that the existing electrical boxes were up to code or not. He also suggested I buy a replacement dimmer switch beforehand, and just have the company install it, which would save me a bit(I did). We scheduled about a week from the time I called. On the day scheduled, I moved furniture aside in each room to allow access to the light fixtures. Two electricians(Andrew and Tyler)arrived right on time. They were courteous and helpful, and completed the work in less time than Mr. Root had estimated it might take. The electrical boxes in each ceiling turned out to be OK, so the cost was the lower of the two I had been given. The work was all done very neatly, all mess was cleaned up; you'd hardly know they'd been there.

The technician from Root was very friendly and courteous. He was able to isolate the problem. It turns out it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. He repaired it and everything has been working fine since. He showed up on time, he provided the service that I needed, and the fix was very simple.

The only light fixture in my upstairs hallway was not working and I called Root Electric to have it repaired. I also decided to have a few additional old fixtures replaced. A most pleasant person took my call and scheduled the appointment. Mr. Root arrived within the window of time that was scheduled. He was very informative and efficient and replaced my light fixtures. The fee for each light fixture was very reasonable. It was exactly as he told me on the phone. He was one of the friendliest and most sincere people I've ever met. There was not any pressure to sell additional services and his work was immaculate. I would definitely hire them again and also recommend them to everyone I know.

From the time scheduled for the estimate to the actual work, all showed up at the appointed time. Mr. Root discussed the work that I wanted done and made a few suggestions, which I accepted. We scheduled the work for two weeks later. The crew arrived when they said they would, we walked through what needed to be done. The crew was courteous, ensured all the circuits worked, and cleaned up after all the work was completed.

Root Electric showed up on time and went right to work. Explained the issues and what was wrong. Fixed the issue in about 30 minutes for the switches and 15 for the plugs. Excellent work in finishing the job.

They are a very efficient company. They do a very good job. Their business practices are very professional. They charged a very reasonable price for the work they did.

The guys were on time and worked full days. They completed the project within the time frame allotted and the work was done well.

Bill Root Jr. scoped the job late in the afternoon and made an appt. for the following week's installation. He described accurately how log the job would take and provided an estimate. His father, Bill Sr., came at the appointed time and completed the work without any issues. He cleaned the area when finished and did an outstanding job. The price was as quoted and the heating system works perfectly.

A dimmer switch in my kitchen (the main lighting source for the kitchen) started to "sizzle" when I flipped the switch on, then I saw a wisp of smoke come from the switchplate. I left a message with the answering service for Root Electric, and almost immediately received a call back. Despite it being a Saturday, Mr. Root was able to come within the hour to take care of the problem, which I was relieved to hear since this was the kitchen and used constantly. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, and was able to take care of the job quickly. I will continue to use this company for my electrical needs, and would highly reccommend them to anyone looking for a fair, friendly and reliable electrician service.

What really impressed me about them was he did talk me out of something that I was thinking of doing, as he said I really did not need to have it done and it would not be worth the money. Obviously, they are pretty honest. It was the owner himself that came. He was very understanding and great with my daughter who was curious about everything. He showed up on time and everything was just great about the whole experience.

I had a list of things to do and he came in and had everything done in no time at all. It is a family owned business. The son works for the father now. When I called, they gave me good advice on what kind of a ceiling fan to buy and I thought that was very helpful.

Accomplished the job as scheduled. No nonsense.

Although they came a little later than they had planned, they did their work expertly and offered random electrical advice throughout the job. The workmanship is excellent and looks great. They even made it look good inside the garage!

Very well. I wasn't around to observe, but my wife told me Mr. Root was courteous and performed his work expeditiously and very well.

Bill Root was very polite and responsive when we called to get an estimate. He came out in the evening to accommodate our work schedules. He gave us straight answers and good advice regarding what we were looking to get done. He was very personable and polite. We received the estimate the next day via email. He provided us a line item estimate so we were able to pick and chose what we wanted and easily calculate the cost. Once on site, he was extremely clean (laid down tarps, picked up wire clippings, etc) and worked very efficiently. This was a one and a half day job. In the first day, he installed all of the canned lights, applicable switches, and moved the power box in the dining room. On the second day, he hung the chandelier and completed the three way/dimmer for it, and ran/installed the two 20 amp circuits in the kitchen. We couldn't have asked for a better electrician / person to do this job for us! We will absolutely use Bill's services again, should we need to! We highly recommend him!

THEY CAME THEY INSTALLED THEM AND IT WAS FINE. THEY GAVE ME A DISCOUNT FOR BEING A MEMBER OR ANGIE'S LIST. THE LIGHTS WORK VERY WELL AND I WOULD RECOMMEND AND USE THEM IN A HEART BEAT.

We decided to make these changes. We knew Bill from church and had been thinking of using his company for a number of years. We were happily surprised to see the company's listing on the List. We chose him on this basis.
