Power Wash Plus Inc

After calling several companies, Power Wash Plus gave me the lowest quote on cleaning my gutters and washing our 18 windows, inside and out with sills cleaned for free. The workers came out as scheduled and did the job. Later, I noticed that some dirt remained on the window sills, and posted a B rating on Angie's List. Not content to run a B company, the owner of the company, Ron, called me to ask what went wrong and how he could make it right. Clearly, he cares deeply about doing a good job and making his customers happy. He came out personally and wiped down all of the sills to make sure that the job was done to my satisfaction. Some of what I observed as dirt remaining on the sills, he showed me, were in fact stains that could not have been removed by his workers. I am very impressed me with his commitment to providing high-quality services and would recommend Power Wash Plus to anyone.

Gutter cleaning always seems overpriced to me but the team arrived on time and worked almost to sunset getting all the leaves out of the gutters. They did not leave any debris around the house. They put a bill in your mailbox so you do not have to be home.

Called to schedule an appointment, and provided details about the size of the house and deck. They provided a price over the phone. A technician arrived within the week. He confirmed the measurements of the deck, and began work. The work was completed quickly and professionally. We were very pleased with the results.

The technician, Sergi, I think, was incredibly thorough and paid a ton of attention to detail to make sure the siding and deck were clean. The results were fabulous as we had a lot of staining on the deck and siding. YOu can't go wrong by hiring this company in my opinion.

I went to the website via link on Angie's list and requested a quote, on a Friday, 12/30/2012. They called me back on my cell phone on Monday, 12/3/2012. By checking the satellite picture of my address, they were already able to determine a quote, with the Angie's list price and that they could be out on Tuesday 12/4/2012. Since I was traveling, I asked the to call my wife, whom I just spoke with at home. They called here, made arrangements to come and, and but the looks of things did a great job. I have no complaints at all. They left an invoice, which I was able to call them on Friday and pay over the phone with a credit card.

Ordering their firewood was very easy to do from their web page. The wood was well seasoned and I actually think they delivered a bit more than a full cord. They called before arriving and placed the wood in my driveway where I requested. I also called their office and they provided me the name and phone number of someone that would stack the wood for an additional cost. I will definitely order firewood from them again.

Overall their services went well, they were prompt.

This was my first time getting these services done, and I picked them from Angie's List, especially since many had mentioned that Nancy in their office was very helpful. Well, she was (I dealt with the Manassas office)! She patiently answered all questions, even after multiple calls. The work was scheduled for two days: the first for gutter cleaning, and then everything else. There was a significant growth of mold on one side of the townhome. They had to access the yards of both neighbors and I was a little nervous about damage to my neighbor's yards. I had got permission in writing from both neighbors that they would keep their rear yard gates unlocked on the days the contractors would be by and that the contractors would access their rear yards, and had no issues (well, the neighbors had to look at the moldy siding, so it was also in their interest that access be provided). Everything was done on time and without any hitches. Not only was I pleased, but so were my neighbors, one of whom hired them on the spot to do power washing of the front steps, stoop and walkway. A very reassuring and excellent experience from beginning to end. I would be willing to pay extra for a contractor such as this one where I would have complete peace of mind and not have to fret over details.

The crew arrived on time as promised. They removed all of my window screens to wash them outside, cleaned my windows inside and out, and replaced the screens. Othen than the fact that the house was freezing by the time they left, I couldn't have been happier!

I was not at home when they came but was thrilled with the results. We had them power wash one side of our home that had some algae and was too high for us to reach. The turtle wax makes a huge difference...you can see the water bead up when it rains. Hopefully it will stay cleaner longer. We plan to have them to the whole house next summer.

We had quite a bit of mildew on the deck and siding and the sidewalk was a dark color. When they finished, they all looked new. Nice job!

WOW. The was the most pleasant and professional contractor to deal with. He gave me a very reasonable price for the magnitude of the job. He promised to finish in two days with satisfaction guaranteed.....He delivered. He exceeded my expectations...which very few contractors ever do. The owner, Ron Friedlander, came the next day to give the estimate. He spend so much time with me and was so knowledgeable about the stucco (EIFS) that's on the house. He taught me about the best caulk and gave me advice of who really knows how to repair the stucco properly. I needed this cleaned ASAP because we were having an event. He scheduled it for a few days later. Again.... WOW....he came with a crew of 6 to 7 guys with 2 commercial type trucks with hoses. His staff were all so polite and thorough. They pretreated and cleaned my entire house using warm water, cleaning agent and lower pressure so they wouldn't damage the stucco. I couldn't believe how fantastic my house looks. My house looked as if I just had it painted. It had 15 years worth of dirt and mildew and staining. Everything came off and that ugly ghosting totally disappeared which meant that I saved thousands on unnecessary repairs because it wasn't damage as I had been told by another contactor.....it was just dirt. They finished the job in one day and I have never been more pleased with a contractor. They did such a great job that I also had them do my 169 windows and clean my gutters. We had some very high windows that were difficult to clean. They are such experts that it was no problem. They finished that in one day as well. Again their prices are the best and the quality of their work is outstanding. I will only use them for power washing, window cleaning and gutters cleaning. They promise 100%. Again they deliver. We had this contracted before the storm Sandy. So a few areas were hit with debris. They came back and retouched them. The supervisor, Dominique is a pleasure to work with. He cleaned everything to my satisfaction with a smile. This outfit is a true GEM!!!

All the mold and mildew was removed and the house looks beautiful again.

These folks were very responsive in doing both the estimate and the work. I asked for estimates for gutter cleaning plus pressure washing/sealing my deck. When I called with questions, their rep on the phone was courteous, patient and easy to work with. Their quotes for work on the deck were competitive but I had already spent $199 on an Angie?s List ?Big Deal? with another company and that money would help defray the larger bill to come. I should have just gone with Power Wash Plus. Their gutter cleaning crew scheduled and completed the work quickly after I requested it. During our next heavy rain, I noticed immediate difference in gutter performance. Now that we?ve had Hurricane Sandy, I?m really glad these guys did the job!

I needed my townhouse powerwashed, sent an email through Angie's List, they promptly responded with a phone call, estimate and date they could perform the service. I did not have to be home since they were powerwashing the exterior, and when I came home that afternoon, they had already been there, completed the work and left an invoice on the door. I was very happy with the quick turnaround.

I called to have my home power-washed, but the woman on the phone, after hearing me describe my all-brick facade, advised me against it to prevent damage to the brick. Instead, I opted for the window cleaning since my main concern was really the cobwebs under the eves. She was so helpful and upfront, and even provided me advice on how to do the job myself, if I wanted. The price was reasonable, the crew arrived on time and finished all 27 windows in under an hour (including screens!). I was very happy with the overall service, and my windows are so bright and sparkly -- it made a huge difference!

I highly recommend Power Wash Plus! Their office staff was pleasant and helpful during all phases, and they kept me posted on the schedule as the project went along. The estimator was very knowledgable, taking the time to explain what would and would not work well based on the type of stain I had previously used. He was clear that the deck washing would not remove all of the color left by the previous penetrating stain, and recommended a darker semi-transparent stain to even out the color. He was also up-front about what the house power washing would and would not do; since we had old aluminum siding, they could not use the more aggressive solution, so he warned that some of the stains on the siding might not be reomoved. The estimate was right in line with another estimate I received from another highly-rated company on Angie's List. The caprentry crew did an excellent job replacing the cap rail, which had some very tricky cuts on the stair railings. They had carefully picked through the lumber at the store to get five boards that were as perfect as I have seen, with no knots, no warping, and a very fine grain. Finally, the stain was done carefully and well; the deck looks absolutely beautiful, and there was nothing on either the siding or the plants around the deck. Everyone was more than polite and professional - they were all personable. Ron called me after the work was done to verify that I was satisfied and that all was in order. This is a team that I would recommend without hesitation, and I will use them again as the need arises. Well done, Power Wash Plus!!

I checked out power washing companies via Angie?s list and this one had the best rating at 96 percent in the A category. I called and got Tish on the phone who set up the appointment for the following Wednesday. She could not give a specific time and told me that the technician would be there sometime between 9am and 5pm. She told me that the minimum charge would be $125 dollars which I thought was a bit pricey (hence the C rating on the price) but since the company rated so highly on Angie?s List, I told her to go ahead and book it. Since the townhouse was a rental property we agreed that the bill for the service would be sent to a separate address where I reside. Tish did ask if there was anything else which I needed power washed at the address which could be included in the same price; but there was not. A few days later I called back and got Nancy this time and asked if another townhouse in the same neighborhood (one street away) could be included in the $125.00 charge but she said it could not as it was a separate address. She told me the technician would leave the bill/invoice at the townhouse after the washing. I told Nancy that this was not acceptable and that Tish had already agreed to send the bill to another (my) address so I could pay it because if it was left at the townhouse stuck in the door, I might never see it. Nancy informed me that with her computer she could not see what had been agreed to regarding billing with my earlier conversation with Tish. I suggested that the ladies who took the job information get a computer system by which everyone could see what the others had done and had agreed to with regard to a particular job to avoid confusion with their customers. Nancy said that she would take it under advisement. Finally the job was done and it looked good. Not spectacular or amazing, but simply good. (Hence the B rating) I found out from my tenant that the power wash technician had hooked up his equipment to my town house and used my (the tenant?s) water to power wash the steps. I was surprised as no one had ever mentioned that the power wash technicians do not supply their own water. I called the company to ask about this and another lady (not Tish or Nancy) informed me that it was standard practice to use the customer?s water to do the job. I told her that I felt that I should have been informed and it was very tacky to charge $125 and then on top of it use the customer?s water to do the job. She said that normally customers are told of this but in this case, I was not. I asked this third lady if I could charge their company $5 or $10 for the use of my (the tenant?s) water. She laughed but for me it was not funny. Had I known that the company was going to use my water to do the job, I likely would have searched around for a cheaper company. What if the water at the townhouse had been turned off (from inside) and nobody was home? Would I have been charged for a service call? I will not use this company again for this reason. The actual work was good but I felt like it was insult to injury to charge (what I felt was) a high price and then on top of that, to then use the customer?s water to do the job without informing the customer ahead of time.
