The cleaners arrived on time per scheduled appointment and did the job promptly and well.

Upon purchasing the coupon for their services, the provider immediately promptly with me to schedule a time of service. I was notified by phone the day of service and they arrived to perform work as stated in the work order. My gutters were cleaned out and there was no mess or sign of unfinished work upon my returning home. I received an additional call regarding the results of the inspection and an offer to fix any problem areas. My wife and I were very pleased with the work and would certainly not hesitate to call J & E Home Services again.

Repaired chiminey (lose bricks, cracked motar) and cleaned gutters and ensured roof was in good order. Checked second chiminey to see if it needed cleaning. Good customer service!

I felt like they only offered this deal to find expensive ways to ply me for money on future jobs. They found a couple of things needing maintenance on my roof and the repair cost was quite high.

I scheduled the work with no problems. The workers came, did the work in about 20 minutes pushed a recommendation sheet under my door and left. I guess they did what was needed. There was no dialogue except by telephone to indicate that workers were on the way and a follow up call to see how things went.

I was really impressed with the customer service I received right from the start. They contacted me right away to schedule service and listened to all my needs. The work was professional and efficient and they even called to make sure I was satisfied. I will definitely be a repeat client!!

They did a good job of getting debris off the roof. I would use them again.

Went to the wrong address at first, so was delayed. The workmen seemed to do a fine job with the gutter, but I'd understood they'd be able to give me advice on another drainage problem as well, but that wasn't the case. Their manner was abrupt and condescending.

The two men arrived on time, had a professional manner and did a rapid and thorough job. The price was the least I've paid for this service, and the result was the best. They were friendly and very helpful. They also patched a small hole in the roofing and recommended that I consider getting a new roof. When they left, my home and surrounding yard were clean. J&E stays within the the things it does well. They did not try to sell me more services- they said the full roof job was too large for them. I also asked them about replacing my gutters, which have been damaged a bit over the years. The manager at J&E followed up and indicated that this job also was too large for them, but he referred me to another company. I've had a number of unpleasant experiences in dealing with companies that provide gutter services. This one was the opposite. J&E will be my first option for gutter work and similar things in the future.

Joe was most agreeable and accommodating. On our first appointment schedule it was raining and Joe called to confirm he was coming. My husband told him he did not want him on our roof in the rain. So we rescheduled. When he did come he called to let us know he was on the way. But when the team arrived no one rang the doorbell to let us meet the lead man. They, like Santa, went strait to work, cleaned all the gutters, and were gone . But they never let us know they were finished or the condition of the roof. I'm assuming it's okay. The only way we know they were here was the noise created by their blower.

Mike and Gus showed up as scheduled and cleaned the gutters, reviewed with me what they had done, noted the condition of the installed plastic gutter guards, and gave me a paper copy of the completed work order. Very satisfactory. Mr. Harris called to confirm that I was satisfied and emailed me an electronic copy of the invoice.

They did a great job! They called prior to coming and again after the services were complete. The guys that worked on the gutters were extremely polite, and efficient. They were in and out in no time and they didnt leave so much as a twig behind. I will definitely use J & E again in the future.

We called them directly this year after finding them on Angie's List the first time a couple years ago. The guys are nice, polite, on time, didn't make a mess in my house...owner is attentive. Used them again in October for some roof repair.

It went very well. Contractors were very professional and knowledgeable. Chimney inspection was very fast. I had a crack in my chimney which they fixed the same day. I would highly recommend them. In addition, I plan on using them for all of my future chimney inspections. Very pleased and satisfied customer.

They were three times more than another company. They gave me their set price over the phone and they didn't sound like they were too interested in it anyway because it's a small job so it would cost them a lot to send a truck out and their men and I understand they've got to make their money, just don't make it all off of one time with me. It wasn't very businesslike because it seemed as if I was bothering them. All they had to do was take two bolts off and if I had been able to get down there to get to it I'd have done it myself. If they'd been willing to knock off $50 I'd have let them come in and then they'd have had a customer for life.

They got every corner and spot I requested. The deck was covered in mildew and they did an excellent job. They are currently doing interior painting in my home and it is looking great.

They were excellent. I thought the price was good, he was very professional and did a great job. I was very happy with the service. I also liked the fact that he followed up with me and asked if I was pleased. That stood out to me.

We submitted an online request for a quote for fireplace cleaning, power washing the siding of our townhome, powerwashing and sealing our deck, cleaning our gutters and installing gutter guards. Joe was out at our house the next day to look at the townhome and provided us an estimate that evening. Estimate was very reasonable compared to others we had received. After approving the estimate, Gus was over at the house the day after. He was amazing! We work full time out of the house, which makes having contractors very challenging because we don't have cell reception in our office and have to have folks call me in the office or email. Also, because they were going to do the fireplaces, we agreed to leave a key under our mat so they could get in to do those. First, Gus sent a note to me when he arrived at the house. then he gave me status updates all throughout his time at the house. When he inspected the gutters, he sent me a recommendation that they should be replaced because of their level of damage. We told him they leaded pretty badly and he was very upfront and honest about what he could do, and what my options were -- all by email. He gave me a quote for the gutter replacement and said that he could do those in the next few days. All in all it was as positive an experience as I could have hoped for. When they were finished - the house looked fantastic! Such a difference in our siding, the deck looked completely different and when it rains, I no longer get poured on outside my front door. When I asked for an updated invoice, Joe immediately sent me one, no questions asked (other contractors I have worked with have actually gotten offended when i've asked for something similar). I will hire them in the future and recommend them for anyone looking for top-notch professionalism, honesty, and quality of work.

The technician showed up a few hours early, but I was home so it did not matter. The power wash went well, but that afternoon when I looked at the siding I saw what I thought was dirty water residue on the siding on the front of the house. I took some pictures and emailed them to the company. The next morning there was technician at my door to clean the residue. But it was gone and he explained that the water takes some time to completely dry. So, the house really was clean. The rates are very resonable for an interior townhouse.

The men, showed up on time, did a fantastic job with the paver walk and then the sealing. I later noticed a black bit under the seal, they came back and saw 3 other spots(tar) as well, and redone the entire washing and sealing to correct. I already have asked for estimates on 3 other jobs.

We contacted J and E Home Services, in part because of the deal they offered on Angies List, to clean our gutters and check out a water backup problem we observed with the gutter on the back of the house during heavy rainstorms. The crew came out, performed their cleaning and reported that they had found the gutters attached to the house to be clear. (We had special gutter filters installed earlier in the year -- which they reported to be very effective.) We described the obvious backflow and mini-water geyser we regularly observed springing from the downspout about 5 ft above the ground during heavy rains. Our gutters drain into an underground pipe that runs at what appears to be at least one right angle from the house under a brick wall surrounding our backyard. The drainage pipe exits approximately twelve feet at a right angle of where the gutter empties into the ground behind the house and 25 feet away from the back of the house. We determined the blockage was probably underground and discussed possible options, to include just putting an elbow at the base of the gutter to by-pass the underground blockage and having the water exit above ground nearer the house. When the team left, we were expecting a later visit from another company representative to assess the situation and to get an estimate of what it would take to resolve the situation. Instead, the team returned two days later -- after the Thanksgiving holiday -- and took the necessary steps to access the underground section with minimum disruption to the surrounding area. They found a quart-sized wad of a mulch-like substance that had clogged the drainage pipe near the bottom of the gutter, cleared it out, and ensured the pipe was fully flushed out and running clear. They also cleaned up and filled back in the area they had to dig up . Though they technically met the terms of the deal for cleaning the gutters that first day, they took the extra step of following up after considering the issue and ensured our gutter blockage problem was solved. This was at no additional cost to us. I consider this professionalism at its best and excellent service. I would definitely use the company again.
