I thought J&E Home Services did an excellent job of pressure washing our house. Everything that was pressure washed looks great! Wife and I are extremely happy with the results!

Terrible. Classic bait and switch. Took nearly three months to get the serviceman to come out. Then, his revelation is that the roof was leaking. Yes, we knew that already, which is why we asked J&E to come out. Then, guess what? The service man did not have any of the items required to effect repairs. When can he be back with the right equipment? Oh, the repairs are "major," not covered by the deal. Well, what can you do? Nothing. Let me talk to my boss about giving you a discount to replace the whole roof. No thank you.

They did a great job cleaning out our dryer vent and clearing a birds nest in the outside vent and installing a new cover.

Trying to complete a simple job. Ask them to come out and do gutter cleaning. First time a no show and after multiple attempts from my side they said that driver had a flat tire. They rescheduled it for one week out. Second time no show again and notified me at the end of the day. Then they offered to come back another week out. So frustrating and hard to get a hold of them.

We scheduled via text on May 20th for June 5th and I was told I would be e-mailed invoices for payment. On June 4th, I sent a follow-up text to make certain that we were still on as I never received the promised invoices. After almost a full day, I was texted that they were re-staffing and would contact me as soon as they had someone on board, but could not provide me with an ETA. So I contracted with a new company and had the work done as this had already been scheduled more than two weeks from my request date. A few weeks later, I receive an e-mail letting me know that they scheduled me for service and I had to cancel. Poor communication - they should have notified me of staffing issues ASAP. And I didn't associate the later e-mail for scheduled service with the texts at first as they never identified which company they were representing when they texted me.

I have used them for gutter cleaning and pressure-washing. They are incredibly responsible, let you know the day before when they will be at your house and their pricing is very reasonable. I absolutely recommend them.

Great. Fast response and on time service. This is my second year using them.

I have hired this company several times for gutter cleaning, and once or twice for a dryer vent cleaning. The gutter cleaning includes a roof inspection and report of any problems. Once, after the J&E servicer had reported no problems with my roof, an unauthorized party inspected my roof (he said he had confused my address with another address that he was supposed to inspect for a realtor.) After explaining his mistake, he reported problems he said he had found. I was surprised that the J&E servicer who had been on my roof only a few months before had not reported the same problems. I called J&E and Joe, the owner, said he would send someone to reinspect my roof for free, just to double-check. As we both suspected, there were no problems. The mistaken address guy was just trying to get me to pay for work I did not need. The J&E servicers have always been friendly and professional. I get a reminder email the day before my appointment and a courtesy call when they are 30-40 minutes away, so I have plenty of time to meet them if I need to (not necessary for gutter cleaning, but necessary for a dryer vent cleaning, when they need indoor access.) The J&E servicers do a thorough job and leave with everything cleaned up and back in order.

I really appreciated the quick response to my request for service and the cost was the lowest estimate. However, the technician arrived when my husband was home for lunch. He finished the job before my husband finished his lunch. We're not quite sure how he cleaned the gutters without the obvious use of water and ladders... Two after photos were provided by J&E which is nice but one is not very clear. There was a plant growing out of one gutter and that is gone so I assume that the gutters were cleaned. As you can't get on the roof yourself, there is a certain trust required. In the future, I would make sure that I was home during the visit and be outside watching the work being done (at least for a bit).

They didn't have enough staff for the jobs they schedule

I purchased a gutter cleaning package on November 9th and started waiting for them to call me to schedule a time to come out. Months later when I finally reached out to them I was told that they had already come out and cleaned them 2 days after I purchased the package. He then sent me a picture to "prove" that he had actually done the job, but the picture looked like one he had taken when he cleaned my gutters a previous year. When I called to discuss this issue with the company the person I was talking to on the phone was very rude and hung up on me.

I have used J&E Home Services for gutter cleaning for a number of years. Prices are competitive, it is easy to schedule, somebody always shows up to do the work, and I am not left with a mess in my landscaping around my house.

They showed up, parked in the driveway, got up on the roof, and left less than 10 minutes later. I thought they must have forgotten something and be planning to return to finish the job, but instead they sent an invoice for a gutter and roof inspection. (Not what I ordered, but they didn't do either.) I have told him that if he can document completion of the work, I will happily pay his invoice, but he cannot, and has threatened to sue me for payment for work he did not complete.

They didn't show up! I took the day off of work and they didn't show. I called many times, that day and later to find out what happened. I just got their voice mail. No one ever replied to my calls or apologized for not showing up. Do not count on this company! No customer service whatsoever! Actually, I imagine they've gone out of business based on my experience with them. So don't waste your time.
