.Mother Nature messed with the scheduling twice, first with a deluge then with snow so that was a bit frustrating. Then the crew showed up at my home rather then the property I scheduled for but that got fixed quickly and they arrived and finshed the job for me. They attended to an item or 2 that was not on the original agenda as well and they were very professional, thorough and friendly. They gave me a write-up of issues for my neighbor (there was a leak into his townhome that we weren't sure as to the cause) and followed up a couple of days later with an email. Overall I was very impressed and would use these folks again.

After several delays caused by weather, Joe's crew cleaned the gutters, resealed flashing around chimneys and resealed pipe collars. Joe was extremely responsive when we had to change dates due to heavy rain and snow. He was great.

A fair deal for good work is pretty exciting even if the task seems prosaic.

Arrived early, they cleaned gutters while they waited for me to get home. Wore slippers while in the house. I spoke several times with the owner that day, he was helping me understand what we needed to stop the drafts, and what our options were. I will use them next year.

They showed up on time and were very professional. They noticed a hole in our roof and gave us an estimate to fix it. Estimate was great and they came back a few days late to fix the hole. Very professional!

Did the big deal work, expertly, courteously, punctually.

The men did the job they were paid to do. They were on time, worked quickly and did a very good job.

It worked out fine. They found evidence of mold in the furnace. I was very pleased with them. The price was competitive.

Surveyed tree I was concerned about. Gave suggestions on cutting down some dead trees and to thin out pin oak tree in front yard. Was given a very detailed estimation and took the time to explain everything to us and answered all our questions. When the work was done, it was done in a very timely manner and they cleaned everything up. Was very impressed.

All went well. Had them come back for some other repairs (deck flashing; roof repair)

I was very impressed with J & E Home Services. First, the $150 big deal for a chimney sweep and gutter cleaning combination seemed almost too good to be true. I've spent almost as much as $150 on a gutter cleaning alone with other companies. The two men arrived on the day as scheduled for the gutter cleaning and chimney sweep and did a great job. The did the complementary roof inspection and recommended a few small things that needed attention - some incorrectly installed flashing, a few nail pops, and a missing shingle. Joe got back to me a few days later with a quote to do the minor roof maintenance and the price seemed very reasonable. Joe also e-mailed me the pictures the guys took while on the roof. The guys came back out a few weeks later to do the roof maintenance and the they were equally efficient and courteous that time as well. Joe followed up with an e-mail the next day with a few pictures again of the completed work. Just an overall great experience. The roof maintenance did have to be rescheduled a couple of times due to weather, but each time Joe gave me a call and suggested a day to reschedule. Based on this experience, I am definitely going to keep J & E Home Services in mind next time I am need of any work that they perform. I felt like the overall experience - the service, the communication, the prices - were really top notch. The only thing I will note which was not a negative in the least for me, but might be for some, was with respect to the gutter cleaning. J & E's gutter cleaning service is blowing the leaves and debris out with a blower, or at least that is what they did for me. I have absolutely no problem with this - as long as the gutters get fully cleaned out, I'm a happy camper. But, I know some people prefer a cleaning by hand or to have the debris bagged when finished (J & E did actually bag some of the debris for me since I had just had my leaves removed, although I don't believe that was part of their standard service). If you have any concerns about how they plan to remove the leaves from your gutters, I am sure they would be more than happy to discuss it with you. But, like I said, for me, as long as the gutters are cleaned, I'm happy.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good.There were no additional charges. They did exactly what was on the plan. They came back with some recommendations for repairs but we haven't followed up with that yet. They were prompt and courteous. They did a good job so it was a positive experience.

Cleaning and repair of gutters. Minor roof repair. Excellent work and customer service. Would definitely use J & E Home Services again. Highly recommend.

Gutter cleaning. I pointed out to a worker that they forgot to clean one gutter, which I could see from an upstairs room was full of leaves, but he insisted they had cleaned it. I checked again and told him it had not been cleaned. They did bring their ladder back, went up to clean it, however it wasn't a good job as after they left I had to go up on my ladder and clean out six handfuls of decaying leaves.

It went well! They were fast and thorough, we'd use them again. (Used an Angies List Deal).

They quickly provided the service requested. They also found holes in our roof from squirrel damage. They took pictures, quoted a price and set a date for returning to repair the roof. And as we had come to expect, came yesterday and quickly took care of the roof.

Gentleman recommended a downspout at one end of the gutter, which we had them do. The new downspout has stopped the gutter overflowing which it used to do.

Via an Angie's Big Deal, J&E provided a chimney sweep and inspection as well as whole-house gutter cleaning. The service providers were polite and professional and noted minor repairs needed to our roof flashing. The service provider did not provide a time window on the day of service but estimated morning arrival pending earlier jobs; technicians arrived at 1PM.

They were careful to not track anything in the house and tarped the area around the fireplace. They also blew out our gutters with a leaf blower. A supervisor came by to QA their work. The crew was very quick, efficient and respectful.

It went well. I received photos and details of the work that was required. I did not have the repairs done at this time due to cost. I will have to budget and have the repairs made in the coming year.

The workers showed up on time and were courteous and professional. They advised me of a couple of roof and chimney issues they found (including photos that were emailed to me soon thereafter) that I've since remedied separately. Also, excellent follow-up by Mr. Harris. Good job.

Team was terrific and professional -- worked quickly and impeccable cleanup. While cleaning gutters, they noticed a problem with a vent pipe on roof and let me know.
