Everything turned out well. The crew was pleasant to deal with, they fulfilled their obligations, and they did a good job. The scheduling was easy, too.

Showed up on time. Very professional. Did a thorough job with the chimney. Used a blower to clean the gutters (only concern) Cleaned up after the work was finished. Great job for the price. Might use them again.

Purchased gutter replacement as a spacial deal on Angie's List, estimators came out in a few days to assess the need for additional work. It was not surprising to learn that the fascia board needed to be replaced as well... at $9 per foot, which seems to be the going rate. It took at least six weeks to get the actual work done... delays due to need to match the paint, rainy weather, etc. but the job eventually was completed by two very cheerful employees.

The inspection and sealant were provided promptly and as advertised. Joe has been great and responsive when providing estimates for additional work and answering questions.

It took 3 weeks from the time I signed up for the deal to get a date. Then the company didn't show up at the time they stated, showed up much later in the day. After the house dried, it was obvious that all my windows were spotted, had to call the company back and get them to come back to get rid of the spots on the windows.

Joe called and spoke with me when he was on site for the service (I was not at home when they did the work) to review what I was looking for from the job. We discussed my concerns and Joe explained what they would do. He then left an inspection report. Very happy with the value for the money and with J&E Home Services.

technician arrived and politely informed me of the work that he would do on the roof. He contacted me after the work was done to tell me that he had finished the cauking job.This was a big deal on Angie's list. The technician was not an expert in assessing the roof, however. He shrugged and reported that everything was ok. He seemed to know his level of expertise and knew that he had done what he was supposed to do.

Great job! Had them back to replace a run of gutter and patch a roof hole.

Had to reschedule once, but very quick and satisfactory work when they arrived.

The service went well and the price was reasonable.

Joseph arrived within the appointment window, scoped out the project (very high roof line), and got to work right away. My gutters had needed cleaning for 6 months or more so it was a lot of work (he filled 2 large lawn bags with leaves and twigs he removed from the gutters, downspouts, and drain pipes. He was very careful with my copper gutter system, using air pressure from a leaf blower to force the leaves out of the downspouts. It only took about 45 minutes. It had taken some rescheduling to get the work done. Every time I was on the schedule throughout the winter, it snowed or rained - making it unsafe to be on a tall ladder. My schedule was very challenging and I insisted on being there when someone is working at my home (though Joseph would have been fine working without me there and billing me). All in all, I was very satisfied and will definitely use J & E Home Services in the future. They also do roof inspections and a number of other services.

It went very well. The guys showed up on time and were extremely courteous and helpful. Everything was done in a reasonable amount of time and everything was cleaned up beautifully. An estimate was provided for securing the ridge vent and repairing and capping the chimney.

J & E came out, cleaned the gutter, and inspected the fireplace and cleaned as they were able (not a standard flue) - I was very satisfied.

J&E, especially Joe, was very professional and stayed in touch throughout the experience. He contacted me within a day or two of my buying the deal to schedule an appointment. We settled on a convenient date within about a week. Unfortunately, due to the horrible weather we had this year, the appointment was rescheduled several times. They did try to come in the first week of March and did the roof inspection and tried to clean the gutters, which unfortunately were still frozen from the snow and cold earlier in the week. Joe was very good about calling either the day before the appointment or first thing in the morning the day of to let me know they would have to reschedule. Just to be clear, the reschedules were due to the terrible weather, not to anything within J&E's control. In truth, my friends and I were beginning to think that it was the gutter cleaning that was bringing all the snow, as it snowed without fail either the day before or the day of each scheduled appointment. They finally were able to come April 9 to finish the appointment.

This was a very good deal. It put me in touch with a great service provider who inspected my roof and recommended fixes to the several problems that were found. J&E Home Services is a superior contractor that performed as advertised, arrived on schedule and offered sound advice.

I really like them. They did a good job, and if there is something else that needs to be done, they let you know, but are not pushy or try to rip you off. They are very responsive and super friendly. They are polite, helpful, and they really look out for details in there work.

The technicians cleaned the gutters and swept up the leaves. A written inspection (with quote) was provided. Photos were promised of the issues identified in the inspection report, but the photos were never delivered.

The work was done well and prompt.

No sales pressure, great cleanup great people

While all went fine with the gutter cleaning, they found some problems with the wood stove I had that prevented them from performing the sweep. They were concerned about a water leak. The gentlemen who came out immediately called their boss to discuss the issue, and came up with a plan. From there, they brought out a specialist a few days later to assess the problem and offer a solution, and then offered to take the cost of the chimney sweep off of the fix! They did a great job of keeping me informed of what was happening, why they couldn't perform the assigned work, and getting me a solution to my problem. And they did all of this while keeping things honest with the price.

It turned out good. It seems fine. It's very hard to tell, because I couldn't get up there to have a look. I'm sure they did a good job. He was letting me know that he wouldn't be able to come several times because of the snow. So he would just call up to say, "Sorry, we can't come. Everything in your gutters is frozen." And he set up another date. He came when he said he was coming.

It turned out very well. It went very well. I very much like that they were very communicative. We had snow in March and so we had to do the rescheduling. They were very on top of it. They were very much always communicating with me and lettng me know if they can come out on a certain day. They were very responsive to my needs. I was very fond of their communication. When they came out, they greeted me even though I was leaving the house. I appreciated that. They were thorough and quick. They cleaned up well. I can't think of a single dislike. That would be a giant like for them. I had a wonderful experience with them. There was no additional charge. They did find a couple of other issues which they offered me an estimate on. We contracted them separately for those issues also. It was an additional $200 but it wasn't involved in the original work. It was just something that was found upon the roof inspection. I would happily recommend them to all my friends and family. They were extremely good communicators. They were fair-priced for the services done. There was no fooling techniques. They found some issues but there was no pressure. They told us what the issue was and they allowed us to make out own decision.

J&E sent very qualified personnel to do all work. Returned calls quickly. Very professional and priced fairly. Will use again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they were very pleasant. We had to wait to do the service for a couple of weeks because of the snow. They were very nice about calling me in the morning and telling me we were canceled out because of the snow. The guys got up on the roof and did a pretty good job. There was some stuff left on the ground by accident. They were very pleasant and I don't have any complaints about them. I enjoyed their visit and it was a very pleasant encounter. I would say they are not perfectionists, but they did a good job. I asked them to give me an estimate for putting on gutter guards and one of them gave me a ball park estimate for that. They kept me informed as to when they would be here to do the service.

They did a great job. They were very professional and courteous.
