Identified problem on inspection that I purchased through a special while completing some minor roof damage.. Took pictures to show me the issue. Fixed problem quickly once I approved the work estimate which was reasonably priced. Great service. Highly recommend. Joe, the owner is responsive and made issues go away. J & E Home Services professionalism was apparent from their arrival on site. Came prepared to complete the contracted without any additional charge. I am very happy with the work performed. I look forward to their next appointment to powerwash my home.

They did a fine job. Weather caused some delays, but they were good about following up and getting the inspection performed. They did what they promised.

Working with this company has been beyond frustrating. They have a voicemail that states they will call you within an hour but they never do that. We have had to call and leave messages numerous times over numerous days and they never call back. When you do manage to get lucky enough that someone picks up the phone they are not pleasant. They do not do a good job of scheduling. We don't feel comfortable working with them nor having them work on our house. We have bought many Angie's List Deals and have always been very happy but this has been a huge disapointment.

The service went beyond gutters. I got a great understanding of the age of our gutters and their condition. Also helpful comments on our roof and state of the mortar for our brick house. I could not be more pleased. I will definitely use them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. They told me that I didn't need to be home. It hasn't rained since. It was a very reasonable price to do a lot of cleaning. They couldn't come out for 2 1/2 weeks.

It was very difficult to schedule these guys to come because we started trying in December and the weather was awful, so we kept having to reschedule. But once they came they did the service very professionally. They quoted gutter guards for us and we had those installed also.

They were responsive in rescheduling due to weather and in advising of their estimated time of arrival. Although they appeared to have worked very quickly in view of the size of the house, as far as I can tell, the gutters are clean. They left the area very clea ; and left summary write-up regarding the inspection of not only the roof, but the gutters and chimney as well. I had asked that they try and locate the entry/egress point of what I suspected was a squirrel in the attic; and they made an effort to do so. Nice work!

Very happy with the experience. I had two areas where water had leaked onto ceilings. When the technician arrived (promptly, with a call as they were coming down the street), I showed the two interior areas to him. The person was courteous and removed his shoes on entering the house without any request to do so. He proceeded to perform the review and found a few spots that needed attention. All was covered by the fee I had signed up and paid for as a daily special on the site. Very pleased and they gave me peace of mind that I'm now in good shape.

This company will work hard to ensure you are satisfied with the results of the power wash. I am pleased with the results as it took a lot of mold of the back side of the house which faces the woods. They stayed with it until the job was done to my satisfaction.

Very nice guys, punctual! Even got the siding on the second floor that was hard to get to. A few spots dried with dirt still on them (I took pictures, but didn't complain since the "big" first and mold I'd been concerned about had been removed beautifully). I could've called to have them come back, but I didn't have time with Easter that weekend. Over all, very satisfied. Offered to power wash the deck too, but I thought $100 for it was high. (power washed and stained it for $300)

It went well. He didn't find any issues, but caulked a few things. I'm really happy there were no issues.

Communication was a bit lacking. I made the appointment date about a month prior - it would have been nice to have had a phone call the day before or day of with an approximate time. The man did arrive before noon, came to the door and said he was there for both jobs, but never actually introduced himself. He did work diligently for a couple hours and then just packed up and left. I had expected some kind of report (since the add was for roof inspection) and maybe a walk around to see if I was satisfied with the work. I did even have a couple questions about work that I still needed to have done. But he just left. The house does appear clean, and I guess there were no issues with my roof since I didn't get a report. I had pointed out to him one area where the gutters were consistently overflowing (guessing a downspout was blocked?) - I guess I will have to wait for another storm to see if that issue was resolved. So, I can't give this work a top rating, but the job was adequate.

He and his son took their time and did a very thorough job. Any areas that remained soiled he went over again and again until they were clean. The house is gleaming like new. I am very happy with the job.

When I arrived the man was just loading up his stuff to leave. He said he was finished. I took a look at the shutters on the front of the house and could see that they were wet, but the filth was still there. I showed him that I could just gently swipe it with my finger and there was major dirt on my finger. He said he would go back over it. And he did. As he did that I walked around the entire outside of the house. The whole thing was like that. So he went back over the entire house. I went back around the house to take a look before letting him go and the filth was STILL THERE! He said he was using bleach on it but I didn't smell any bleach. He offered to go back over it again and I let him. Finally I'd had enough. He obviously was not going to get the dirt off the house with whatever he was using to clean it with. I could have done just as good a job with my garden hose! Totally Not Happy with this one!

J & E did an amazing job. I could not believe how great my house looked after they were there. They did give me a service window in the morning and didn't arrive until really late afternoon, so I didn't grade them as an A in punctuality. But I can attest to the fact that the wait was worth it. And to be fair, they agreed to honor an Angie's List deal that had expired that I had tried to buy during a time I should have been able to purchase it, but couldn't due to technical difficulties, so I was more than happy to be accommodating of their schedule in exchange for their agreement to honor the discount. I would highly recommend them!

The job was performed on Easter Sunday. I was at church so I did not have any personal contact. I believe it was Joe...called before he came and left a message while I was gone. I had requested in my email earlier in the month that I wanted to be home when they did the work. I thought that the date was set for a Tues. the 22nd. so I was surprised when the work was completed the 20th. The only reason I could see why he came early was that there was a possibly rain for the 22nd. J & E did repair a loose piece of siding near the garage. I did not know of this piece of siding, but I did hope they would see the piece that was close to the roof on the back right side of the house. I appreciated the work they did on the garage. They did not charge me for this service. Over all I am pleased with the work that was done!!

Went great! They cleaned out my gutters wonderfully.

Scheduling was easy. They completed the work very quickly. I thought they were very honest.

They contacted me to let me know there will be an additional charge for gutter guard and I decided to get a refund.

I had never purchased an Angie's Big Deal but did do so for this power washing. J&E was responsive from the start in terms of contact, scheduling and punctuality. Great job on the power washing and very helpful in pointing out things that needed repair on the house ( loose shingle, rotting wood, etc) Would highly recommend and would use again.
