The only negative thing we felt was that they used a cleaner that left a residue on the windows. It was not a bad thing. They cleaned the siding and did what they needed to do. It's just that there was a film left on the windows. Their price was fine and the siding was clean.

I was not present when they cleaned my gutters and they did not need me there. I called and they said they would come by the next day while I was away. Later on, I received an email with photos of the cleaned gutters. There were some minor evidence that the workers had been there (like shoe prints in the soft ground) but nothing out of the ordinary. WIth a few weeks we had a rain storm and the gutters worked great. I recommend them.

What I initial done was I had arranged to have them clean my daughters chimney but they had asked for my address also. I was waiting at my daughters to come and they said between 1 and 3. At 3:30 no body had arrived so I called them and they said and I understood it been snowing and raining but they were trying to go through and cancel everybody because they couldn't go on the roof totally understandable. About 5 minutes later I had got a call from my daughter who happened to be at my house and they showed up here. So I went ahead and let them clean but they cold only do the inside portion and they said they would arrange to come back. I want to say this was about middle of January and so I waited and waited and no one called me back. I finally contacted them and said you still need to do the top portion and I need to schedule the other home that you was suppose to do first and they scheduled me 2 weeks out. So this was eccentrically a month after the original cleaning was suppose to be done. I sent them an email and told them it was not acceptable that I need an earlier time. I had also had reached inside to check something and found that there was some hanging fiberglass or what it is so I wouldn't even considering putting a fire in the fireplace until I have it double checked. I had sent another email and told them I wanted the owner to call me back and I have yet to hear from them. So number one I would never use there service again. They are unresponsive. They were scheduling a month out and they could only come into my area on Wednesday mornings. Very uncooperative so I am having another company come out and do the work. I would never hire them for anything or recommend them. I basically paid $89.00 for them just to clean the fireplace.

We called to acquire an estimate on having some pillars repaired or replaced for the front of our home. They originally scheduled an estimate for about 10 days after my initial phone call. The date was to be Jan. 16. At 5:00 p.m. that day, a woman called to say they had too many gutter cleanings to do so they couldn't get to the estimate. She wanted to reschedule for January 27--another long wait for us. Today, we received another call this afternoon saying that because of the snow, they aren't able to come. The trash collectors came. I went to the office with no problems. Fairfax County government is open as is the federal government. Now, I have to call AGAIN to reschedule just to get an estimate on a possible job. This company has been frustrating to say the least!

I wasn’t at home during the work but it was a terrible response from them; I bought the deal at the end of October and they didn’t come until January. They wanted to come immediately but there was still leaves on the trees. They said their next appointment was Christmas eve. I didn’t hear from them. I called them and they said their next available appointment was on a Sunday. They didn’t come and I called them back, and finally they were able to come out. When they did come out, they charged my wife $250 to put caulking around the skylight and put down some black paint. That only took an extra hour to do so I’m not sure why they charged my wife an additional $250. My wife said they were nice, but they were a month and a half late, with no calls/no shows.

I purchased this on November 29th, and filled in equestrian for three different days for the service. A few days later, I received an email saying they could not honor the dates, but scheduled me on December 20th. I received a confirmation call on December 19th for the appointment, but no one showed up the next day. I called and left a message on their voicemail. December 23rd, I received a call that their truck wasn't working, and they rescheduled for January 3rd. Weather prevented them from servicing me on the 3rd, and they rescheduled the 10th. Weather prevented service on the 10th, but no one called to reschedule, so I called on the 13th and left a message. I received a call on January 16th. They rescheduled for February 3rd. When I explained my dissatisfaction with being scheduled so much later, the receptionist explained that they don't do appointments on weekends (which makes no sense, since my previous appoints were scheduled on weekends) because they do roof work instead, but she offered to try to arrange for an earlier date. I did receive a call back later that day, and she rescheduled for January 25th. She also apologized for the lack of follow through, but mentioned that she was a new receptionist. No one showed up January 25th, and I received a call today that explained they had an emergency roof collapse they attended to. They will "try" to make it February 5th.

It was fine. They looked around to see if there was anything more we wanted done. We passed on that. They may have done roof cleaning, but I'm not sure. There wasn't much on the roof. They estimates for minor roof repairs.

Not very reliable as outlined above. Woman I dealt with was very friendly and polite.

They were fantastic. I don't think we'll need to replace the roof any time soon specially after they patched that hole. I'm sure they were here on time, I don't recall it being an issue.

Yes. I had to follow up to get the pictures of problem areas of the roof, but they sent them right after the request.

Did inside but cannot seem to get the outside inspected and cleaned. Won't even schedule a day and time.

Professional & punctual. Inspected entire roof, caulking & chimney from roof (not interior). Did minor caulking & found one damaged area--probably from a downed tree limb--and filled it. Just as agreed in the special I took advantage of. Gave me a quote on some additional work that was needed--didn't take them up on this as my son & friend were home for Christmas and took care of it. Without my son, I would have definitely contracted with J&E.

It was very professional. They messaged the same day saying that they didn't service the DC area. So appreciate that but it was a pain to get money back from Angie's list. Its definitely not their fault.

It went very well. I’ve already had them out again. They were very prompt and thorough.

The sides were washed though I don't think they did as thorough of a job on my townhouse.

When they came we weren't home so I didn't know if they had done one section of the house or if they missed it. The next rain, I was seeing that water was coming out of the gutter from all the places. I thought that they didn't do it well in that section of the house.

I was really satisfied with them. We had one complaint. We called them, we asked them and we thought that they didn't do the job well the first time. Then they came out free of charge the second time and did the work for us. Next time, I called them and I asked them, they said okay they're going to send another team. They did and cleaned it. I'm really happy with their service. The customer service is good. I told them the first time I didn't like this, I felt that it wasn't done in one of the areas. They were really happy to send their people again and get it done. I was really happy.

They did a fine job. One of the things that stood out was that they took a video of the gutter after they cleaned and showed it to us so that we could know it was clean.

The company helped to fix a leak in our garage roof that was problematic. Did receive quote before any work began. The roofers were late to both appointments but did communicate with us before being late. This did cause them to have to split up the time they were here.

Performed service as expected. Adequate services for a very reasonable price.

I bought a big deal for complete gutter cleaning in November. The work has not been done. Communication has been poor and scheduling has been problematic - company obviously has put me at end of list for scheduling. The company scheduled work for 2 December but due to weather it could not be done. It was rescheduled for 20 December but company did not show up because of trouble with truck. This may be true but they did not call to let me know until the next day. Rescheduled again for 2 January and again weather interfered. They offered to reschedule for 16 January rather than putting me at head of schedule. I let them know that this was unacceptable. We are moving soon and cannot wait. After two months I believe the company should have put completing the job as a higher priority. Also, for those of you buying Big Deals, be warned. At least some of these only have 30 day money back guarantee. If a company does not complete job within thirty days there appears to no recourse. Seems like a scam - all company has to do is wait thirty days.
