The washing went great. Very responsive even if I wasn't very clear in what I needed. They were very busy and accommodated my schedule. I will use them again without hesitation!

They did such a great job and it looks wonderful. They have very good services and very responsive to the appointments. We will recommend them to our friends and family for sure.

J&E cleaned gutter of my single family house. Communication is excellent, they worked with me about scheduling, they gave me the date and time of the service. They took picture after the job is done. Great service with very reasonable price. Will not hesitate to use them again.

It went according to plan and the provider did the work to standard. I was very satisfied by their customer service.

They did an excellent job cleaning the gutters. There was some confusion with scheduling but no big deal. This is the 3rd time I have used them and I will use again.

Scheduling was inefficient. I had to contact the provides 2-3 times before they finally contacted me again to schedule. On the day of, the tech had a family emergency, and so we had to reschedule. I understand emergencies and so that wasn't as inconvenient but after initial contact the company didn't respond to me until I had emailed and called and it just generally left me with the feeling that since it was a big deal and they already had the money, they didn't really car about providing service.

Everything went smoothly. They arrived on time, and did the work with no fuss. J&E has always been professional and gets the job done.

J&E always communicates with me about changes of appointment date and time. The owner is very responsive and the prices for their services are great! I have been using J&E for my home as well as for our rental property. I hope they will continue to provide great affordable services as I plan to become their loyal customer :-)...

Purchased Big Deal on Sunday. Was contacted by J&E on Monday. Scheduled appointment for Thursdsy late afternoon. Servicemen were punctual, courteous, and professional.

This was a $99 big deal purchase. All I can say is I guess it is okay because I can't see my gutters. I know they were here and that is all I can tell you. They were here, I knew they were coming and they did it -- that's all I know. I thought they were a little bit heavy-footed on the roof, that's all I remember.

Excellent. Removed green mold and glaze of residue that were apparent only when washed. Produced sparkling windows. Responsive and quality work.

Second time I've used this company and both times received strong up-sell for unnecessary roof repairs. First time, technician offered to accept cash and to "save us some money" by performing additional repair work without going through the company. Second time, workers were very nice but, one broke a glass holiday decoration near the fireplace (not a big deal and not an expensive decoration). Prior to that, the other technician was in the middle of a extensive upselling routine on multiple roof repairs. As soon as the decoration broke, the critical repairs seemed to no longer be that critical and he left without following up with a quote - I guess the broken glass and clean up ruined his pitch. Would not use this company again.

They had to come back out. He did a very poor job and if I had to do again, I would not use them. I will tell you that what they try to do is sell you more services. If I had to give them a letter grade, I would probably give them...only because they came back, a C. The guy left and he did not come back for a long time so I ended up calling the company. He came, looked at the job and left, said, 'I'd be right back'. He didn't come back for hours. I had to call the company. They called him and sent him back. He was pretty professional. Complete the work you are assigned to; that you are contracted to do. The work was horrible. The whole one side of my house, he just zigzagged down a couple of times. He did not clean the siding at all so they had to come back and redo the job.

Had one issue not related to the actual work but a side issue which they agreed to take care of and the did. They agreed to make it right and they did. Very happy with the work that they did.

The owner was easy to get in touch with and communicated with me clearly and in a timely fashion. The cleaning had to be re-scheduled (due to the weather) but it was no problem at all. I would certainly use him again.

They contacted me through Angie's list after I bought their deal to ask for my information. I provided it, and then they sent me another message asking to schedule the appointment. I replied back the same day saying that worked for me and that I would be home to let them in. The day of the service came and went. I sent them another message saying they needed to call me, but they still haven't done so. Complete waste of time and money.

At first they were right on it. Came out and gave me a couple different estimates and were flexible when I changed what I wanted done. But when the mason came out to do the work he was late didn't show or brought the wrong supplies. For some reasons he thought it was acceptable to use grey mortar when the rest of the column and attached wall had white and at least one brick he used was cracked. it was altogether sloppy. Contacted the office and they arranged times for him to come back. He showed up late without white mortar. They then wanted me to arrange times directly with him but he wasn't very reachable or didn't show up. Ended up that they let him go because of his work issues. Then it took awhile for me to get back in touch with them cause they had changed email or phone numbers. Finally got their other mason to come out and fix what they original guy had done. The office told me they were sorry for the inconvenience and hoped I would consider using them again. Said they had let some people go who weren't doing what they suppose to be doing. Now the column looks like it should. It has held up well during the winter. However, I don't know that I would use them again because of the poor management of this project. I hope they have figured out their issues and no one else has an experience like I had. The people at the office seem quite nice and I hope it's going better for them.

Getting them out the first time was a fiasco. We set up the appoint for September but then they didn't show and after four or five emails to them I had to get Angie's List involved. That finally got the attention of the president of the company and after that they came out and did a good job. They also also a free cleaning, which I really appreciated. But I wasn't happy it took Angie's List to get involved before they actually did the job, which again they did well. So overall I think the B rating is fair but I don't think I will use them again given my difficulties.

The gutter service performed was just fine - but the company later contacted me about other roof work that need to be done - $1500 for ridge vent replacement - which was outrageous.

Fine. He came, left his caulk gun and quietly left - which is exactly what I paid for.

I bought the Angie's list special deal. The company cleared the gutters. No problems. Easy project.

They were horrible. They never returned my calls and I actually had to get a refund for my purchase. When they did respond, they actually didn't provide dates that they were available for the service. They wouldn't give me any of the dates. It took forever to get a hold of them. I eventually decided to go out of the dispute and stay out of it, and refund the purchase because they were not easy to work with. The price is good but I didn't get any service.

It was delayed. They finally got it done but they set a date then at the last minute, they cancelled. They then set another date a month later and cancelled that. It took quite a while to be able to get them to do it. It wasn't clear why they were cancelling at the last minute and not being able to do it shortly there after. It was very unsatisfactory. The scheduling was very poor. I was disappointed. They did the work and that went okay. I wouldn't go back to them again. Their responsiveness was terrible.

Very professional workers and lead worker definitely made the gas fireplace look 100% better! It did take a while to schedule the service, otherwise all went very well.

There were a number of mix up's that made working with J&E a hassle. First, the told me they could get the same pavers (Same brand, color, etc.) that I had for my walkway that was completed several years before. I only gave them the brand name and nothing else. They installed the pavers they found and when I came home they were a completely different color from the walkways. When I contacted J&E about it they told me that the color of paver in the walkway was discontinued. So, I told them that their replacement was not satisfactory and that they should have asked me before installing. I did some research and contacted the manufacturer of the pavers, they paver I had was not discontinued but rather the clay that they use for the paver had changed and it was a more orange then red now. So, I ordered some samples and picked the best match from the samples. After I got the right color paver I called J&E back and they ordered the pavers and said they would call me to schedule the install. About a week or so later they called and scheduled the install. No one showed up. I called them to ask why and they said that they had to let some people go and that the owner was actually back out in the field now doing the work. They scheduled another date. In the meantime, there was a mix up at J&E and their billing and they called me and told me I had not paid. This was not the case, they had me confused with another customer who had the same name. At least 3-4 people called me/emailed me about this issue and they weren't even contacting the right customer. I got a lot of apologies and excuses about this or that... J&E are nice people and the owner does good work as we are ultimately happy with the very small job that they did for us. Due to the length of time it took to get this small job done, the mix ups, the miscommunication, the lack of professionalism (I'm sorry you had to let people go - but thats not really my concern. I didn't need to know about it) it is highly doubtful that I would use them again.
