I purchased a deal for gutter cleaning for $79-$99 on July 24, 2016. Having not heard from them I contacting them on July 27 asking them when they will be doing the job. They replied then next day that they will be doing it on August 4 but not sure what time and that I did not need to be present. On August 4 they emailed me stating that due to an emergency, they are moving the date to August 8 and that a technician will call me that same day ahead of time with an ETA. No one called, emailed or showed up on August 8.

We were very pleased with the gutter-cleaning services provided as well as with the very reasonable online cost of $89.00. We called J & E Enterprises to setup an appointment and were impressed that they responded almost immediately with a date and a time. Before the appointment they called to say they were on their way. Two men arrived in a truck with their own ladder. They rang the doorbell and after a brief conversation they set out to work. The gutter cleaning took approximately two hours. The lead worker took digital photos of one of the gutters that had come loose from the house. He recommended they return at some later date to reattach the loose gutter and he said he would e-mail me an estimate for repair and for the installation of a aluminum gutter screen. The estimate arrived the following day and was priced very reasonably. We intend to call them back to do additional work at a date in the near future. We have full confidence in their work and especially their work ethic and gladly recommend them to our neighbors as well as to Angie's list customers.

They did an okay job. It didn't really perform optimally after they came. I never saw them go around the back. It is better than it was, but they didn't say they solved the problem, nor did they say that there was another problem that stopped it from operating optimally. They showed up on the morning that they said they were. They returned phone calls and did all that, just that the work didn't seem to be stellar.

I have used J&E for a number of services and they are a quality company providing quality services for a fair price. I will continue to use them for other projects.

Went very well. Meticulous, took pictures of areas that needed repairs and emailed and appointment scheduling was very easy.

The company and staff are easy to work with, friendly, and have reasonable prices. The date of the gutter cleaning often changes due to weather, etc., but this has not proved to be a problem since we do not need to be home for the cleaning. The gutter cleaning is always fast and non-intrusive. I have no issues with this company and would not hesitate to recommend its services.

The workman came to the door to let me know he was here but didn't let me know when he was done. He wasn't particularly friendly but the job got done.

On time, to budget, friendly professional service clean as a whistle.

J & E has been cleaning my gutters for the past four years. They arrive on time and do an excellent job. I was not home when they did one of the gutter cleaners and noticed they missed one. They came back immediately and cleaned. Will continue to use them in the future. They do offer some great deals as well.

I thought I had already done this review but maybe it did not stick. I apologize if it is redundant. I did not have to be home, scheduled visit online, called ahead to let me know they were headed to my place and they left their calling card confirming they had been there. Its been a wet spring and early summer and had noticed some overflow on my front gutter that I chalked up to bird nesting activity. Subsequent rains have resulted in no overflowing of the gutter, and its all coming out of the downspout. So its all good! Thanks!

Everything went fine. I did not have to be home when the service was performed and the partial blockage seems to have been cleared.

Dreadful. Didn't show up for the job, and didn't bother to call me. Are avoiding my calls and inquiries. Have never been stiffed like this before and will re-evaluate these "deals" offered by Angie's List. This vendor is completely irresponsible and I will be pursuing legal action if I do not receive my full refund for services not rendered!

Performed both actions as expected and desired. Quote was reasonable and included an additional maintenance repair quote. The technician reviewed the state of the roof while performing the cleaning and took a picture of the recommended maintenance action. This step and the picture led credibility to the vendor's request. Would use again and will hire for the quoted items.

Good service, pleasant two guys that came out. They did nice job and would use again.

I purchased a Groupon and was able to schedule an appointment within 2 weeks. However, I wasn't sure if the scheduled appointment was going to be performed since I never received a call nor email to confirm the appointment. I emailed and left a voice mail prior to the appointment to confirm, but did not receive a response. The only way I was able to determine that someone was there on the day of service was because they left an open trash bag and a lot of debris remaining in the yard. It looked like someone was in a hurry to leave during the cleanup and forgot their trash bag. Not only the mess in the yard, the deck was a mess with all the chairs, table, and grill out of their place, all pushed against the rail in a disorderly fashion. If this represents the quality of service because of a Groupon deal or it's their normal way of providing service, I am seriously disappointed. Needless to say, we will not be recommending this company to our friends and neighbors.

They did a good job in washing off mold and mildew on siding and trim work. My home looks 100% better!

Team showed up home time and worked quickly and efficiently. The company was responsive when I called to schedule the service. They were also good about communicating a change in the service date due to all the rain and rescheduled my appointment seamlessly. Team did a nice job cleaning the gutters and exterior maintenance. This is the second time I have used J&E Services and would use them again. Pricing for the service was an excellent value.

Well for the most part. They missed one side of the townhouse but they came back a week later and cleaned the gutter they missed.

Excellent communication, punctuality, and service. Gutters and spouts were not only cleaned, but adjusted and fixed where needed as well.

In addition to cleaning the gutters, the workman informed me that my chimneys' bricks were loose and in danger of falling. The company gave me what I thought was an expensive quote. I found another person to repair my chimneys & replace the two chimney caps for a fraction of the cost. My impression was that the purpose of the initial offer was to try to open the door for their company to contract other, more profitable, work.
