Description of Work: It went well. It took about 2 weeks from the purchase of the gutter cleaning until an opening was available. I remember seeing other people were available within 2-3 days. I left them a few notes about the gutters via phone and e-mail. They confirmed they got them, but the technician did not tend to them. I was hoping to be home when they came. I had a 8-12 window, but they came after 12, so I missed them. I didn't need to be home, but satisfied overall.

I added on the deck wash which was an extra $250.00 since it was a composite deck and needed to be hand scrubbed. Overall, the staff did a good job. I was told I would get a house inspection but I do not know if it was done. I was also told I would have an invoice emailed to me for the deck add-on but I have not received it yet.

Description of Work: Overall the work completed met expecations and was done in a professional maner at a great Angie's List Deal price. |The challenges were related to communitcation with the office staff and the installer. After purchasing the Big Deal, I spoke with the office staff and arragned for the initial job inspection. We coordinated a time to met and discuss my expectations. However, the person sent to my house arrived early so I was not there to discuss the job and then he provided a quote without understanding I had already purchased the Angies List Deal. It took several follow up calls with the office staff, and finally with the business owner to sort out what was to be done and to clarify the invoice. |In the end the work done was performed well. The technician knew how to the job and did it well. He and the office receptionist were not familar with the Angie's List deal or understood how it effected the transaction, which added confusion to the process.

Description of Work: We chose J&E Home Services to perform a gutter cleaning and roof inspection and to provide an estimate for a receding firebox. The gutter cleaning and roof inspection service was scheduled through interaction via the Angie's List email system; however, J&E's office contacted us by phone before our scheduled service and that's where things started to become confusing and frustrating... We were scheduled for the gutter cleaning on Friday, 23 May, and for someone to come out on Tuesday, 27 May, for a free estimate to assess the firebox that has receded from the foundation. When the technician showed up on 23 May, he stated he was there for the estimate and was surprised that we were scheduled for a gutter cleaning. He performed the gutter cleaning and roof inspection and assessed our firebox issue. He said he would send us an estimate by Tuesday, 27 May. Someone from J&E came to our home on 27 May thinking he was going to provide an estimate for fixing the firebox. We are not happy with the overall service provided due to the scheduling issues leading up to and following the work performed on 23 May. We still have not received the estimate for addressing the receding firebox.

Description of Work: This whole-house pressure washing was a $199 "Big Deal." I had to reschedule the service 2 times and the company's representative was very polite and facilitating. The appointment was for scheduled for Friday in the "AM." Technician arrived at 1:15pm. Service took about 90 minutes to complete. House looks good. I am satisfied. Definitely worth $199. Would do again.

Description of Work: Decent deal for the price, but some of the metal graded covers weren't put back like they were found. That was disappointing. Other than that, need to see how the gutters work next time it pours since one side of the house is too tall for me to see.

Description of Work: Had a coupon for gutter cleaning. They did the gutters and left a suggested list of other things to be fixed. I need to follow up to see what else apparently needs fixing, but they seemed to do the job just fine!
