Description of Work: Rain delays meant they showed up unannounced when I wasn't home. They didn't have any spare shingles, neither did I. They took a look at the roof, gave me a two minute phone call, refered me to another contractor and left. I got nothing out of this except a bill.

Description of Work: This was part of one of the special offerings. I am assuming they performed the work but die to their unwillingness to work with my schedule I did not see it completed. The note they left indicated that they would send photos of issues they found but now more than a month later I have seen nothing.

Description of Work: Cleaned the gutters and swept the chimney. Everything went great. The only reason it's not an "A" overall is that the technician said he'd send me photos of the chimney cap (which was damaged) and I never received them.

Description of Work: Due to the weather this service was cancelled by the provider (3) times. When company final came two men climb on a ladder to the roof and in less than 5 min stated everything on the roof was fine, next I pointed to the roof that was closest to the house and stated the roof had lifted on the corner. One worker replaced a large screw on the corner, a few days later the roof like just as it was before the work was done. I feel that I spend $150.00 for nothing. I was shown some pictures on a phone camera that was supposed to show what was on top of the roof. Nothing stating what was services was performed, nothing. Not a good deal to me.

Description of Work: I took advantage of their gutter cleaning deal and plan to have them back to do some repairs and replacements at a trouble area along the backside gutters of my home.

Description of Work: The work -- power-washing all of my exterior siding -- was performed by a contractor for J&E who knew what he was doing. Nice job. J&E delayed execution of the work noting that warm weather would produce better results. They were right.

Description of Work: Quality work and very responsive once on the job. At times difficult to reach the company by phone. I bought Angie's Deal Deal for Roof inspection. During the course of the inspection, the crew found that the siding on the upper side of my town home was completely loose--turns out the builders never properly secured when the structure was built in 2000. I agreed to the repair -- negotiated a date after several messages, but never received an estimate. The workman came to fix the siding (with my permission) while I was at work, but never provided an estimate. The owner apologized -- he said the they left a written estimate on my door--but I never saw it. An email estimate would be a more certain way to handle estimates. Quality work, price seems fair, but I would have appreciated discussion before the work was done.

Description of Work: Clean gutters, checked to see if gutter helmet could be removed permanetly since it is not effective in keeping birds or squirrels out from under it. They discovered a squirrel nest and to their credit opted to wait till the baby squirrels have left before finishing. Fixed a wind damged part of the gutter, it still needs some work, but they said they would do that when they return to finish after the squirels have left. I trust the service provider and they do good work.
