They were good except for the communication part.

It was okay. They made us pay extra which we didn't know that we would have to. When they cleaned the spouts, they didn't tell us at the time they were here. They waited and sent us a bill. They charged me almost $50 more. They were good but having to pay the extra money and not knowing it, I'd say they're a C. They did everything else fine. It was just the price. I would use them again if I knew upfront what the price was.

OK, I did not go on the roof to check their work.

I called multiple times to schedule gutter cleaning service and never got through nor did my voicemail messages prompt a return call. When I finally got through and scheduled the service the contractor never showed up and then returned my call a week later...even Angie's list staff could not get them on the phone...when the company representative did call me he was pleasant and apologized for the delays citing staff shortages as an issue.

I waited all morning for the service vehicle to arrive and, after asking, finally received an email at 12:30 stating the worker would arrive "after 3pm." I wrote back and said that would be too late and let's reschedule. He came anyway some time after 5pm, but by then nobody was home. That was probably my own fault and I would have been happy to reschedule, UNTIL I began receiving nasty emails complaining about the time and distance he had to travel to get to my house, the amount of gas he had to use, etc. The gentleman then stated Purcellville was too far away and requested that I find somebody else to conduct the work. So for fellow homeowners in western Loudoun County, please follow the gentleman's advice and seek another company for services out in this area. He may do good work -- I don't know -- but I do know I don't appreciate receiving nasty-grams because he elected to show up late in the day without providing any kind of window for conducting the work, other than "after 3pm."

The work was fine. I did receive an additional charge after the work was done but this was expected and detailed in the offer.

I had 2 trees removed last year that may have added leaves to the gutters - especially the front. Since water dripped from the front of the gutter onto the driveway when it rained, and I see birds landing in and around my gutters, and nesting in my neighbor's gutters, I thought they should be cleaned now that the tree is gone. I would have given all A's except their communication left a bit to be desired. They emailed to confirm the appointment date, and said someone would call prior to arriving. No one called. I also emailed with a question that day, but did not hear back. I figured out the answer, so that was not a big deal, but as I said - communication could be better. I have security cameras, and saw the serviceman clean up debris that had fallen in the yard, and I was pleased with how my property looked after the cleaning. I have not been on the roof to check, but based on the time spent and the video I could see, all appears good.

They did a great job - their quotes were lower than others we got, and the quality of work seems good.

They provided a great service on time. Joe is responsive to e-mails. He was able to fulfill my request in no time. Thank you !!

We purchased a $79 Home Gutter Cleaning on 6/1. It was not urgent, just wanted to get it taken care of on the home we just purchased. In my scheduling request through the Angie's List system, I mentioned "My primary concern is the back of the house which is 2 stories off the ground." I got an email reply and the date we were given for service by Joseph was 7/15. I thought 45 days lead time was a bit long but no real problem. On 6/14 I got an email confirming my appointment for the next day, which meant they had a typo in their email and I was really scheduled for 6/15 not 7/15. Then on 6/16 (skipping the new day they said they were coming) I got an email saying that they tried to call there was something wrong with the address they had, and could I confirm my home address. I called the office where there was no answer and followed up with a return email and heard nothing back until the next day when I got an email saying they were sorry for the mix ups and they would send someone out on 6/22 and would send me an email reminder on 6/21. I got the email reminder on 6/21, and someone was home all day on 6/22, but we didn't notice anyone arrive as of 3pm when I emailed Joseph to ask if they were still coming. The back gutter that I could see out of my back window (which was the primary concern as I initially mentioned in my scheduling request) still had gunk on it and I'm assuming stuff in it. I got an email back saying that my place was serviced at 11am and the job was closed out. I replied saying that no paperwork was left and that we saw no one. If Joseph hadn't sent me a picture taken from on top of my roof, I really wouldn't have believed someone had been to my house at all. At any rate, Joseph offered to have someone come out again if I was really sure the tree gunk wasn't new gunk since the house was serviced, but at that point given the scheduling mess ups and the lacking communication, I was over the whole experience. They sent me a bill for $20 for having more than 120 feet of gutters cleaned which I reluctantly paid since I don't feel like my back gutter was cleaned well if at all.

It was fine. They did a good job. It took a while to get here. Once they got here, they did an excellent job.

The job was performed on time. The siding was put back as is with no attempt to clean it. No report on assessment of the house, which was part of the "deal" was ever provided.

Very well! My husband and I were not home at the time of the service, but J&E sent pictures after the job was completed and we were satisfied with the cleanliness of the gutters. Additionally, a work summary and suggestions were also sent. We plan to use J&E to rehang our gutters this fall and repaint our chase cover.

They came and did the job. The job was fine.

Terrible. Vendor never came and scheduled appointment multiple times but never made it and did not even return calls. I would not recommend this vendor to anyone

Terrible since it wasn't done!! I purchased the deal on Angie's List on August 11. I received an email from J&E Home Services stating they would be in my area on the 23rd and if that would work then I would receive another email on the 22nd and a call from a technician the day of for ETA. I responded that the 23rd in the afternoon would work. I never received an email or a phone call. I called twice on the 23rd and left messages with no return call. I even emailed twice and forwarded the email that was sent by them stating the above along with my response saying the 23rd would work. I left a message on the 24th stating my frustration. No call back!!!! Its hard to believe this company has A ratings!!! Sounds more like a fly by night if you ask me!!!

Ralph, the technician, was fantastic. He texted me to let me know when he was 20 minutes away and confirmed the service that was scheduled. It turns out the headquarters folks annotated the wrong service and when I let him know (with a picture of the Angie's List coupon) he changed the scheduled maintenance to what I was expecting with out any issues. Our renters emailed us to let us know Ralph had completed the job and that he appeared to do a through job. We were very happy with the results of the maintenance and inspection.

I asked if they could just let me know if one of the gutters looked damaged, twice, with the scheduler via email and with one of the techs before they started cleaning. They seemed to ignore my concern and I never heard from the tech either way.

Team showed up on schedule and did the job quickly and efficiently. Pleasant folks.

Our money was refunded! They don't honor their appointment times. We had two appointments and they no showed after waiting on them for the day. I don't want to deal with companies who do business like that. NO THANK YOU!!!

Price was good when compared to others around. However, I was never able to talk to anyone in person until the day of service. I only received one email to confirm the appointment and a text message on the day of service to let me know that they will be arriving soon. None of the phone calls that I placed before and/or after the service were either answered or returned. At the day of service I wanted to understand the work performed, but they never got back to me before leaving. I was never notified when they were done or provided any sort of communication. I tried calling, but no one answered the phone or responded to the text message. I wanted to get an understanding of what they did/found since from what I can see, the gutter looks the same way they where before (with even pieces of dirt on top). But the lack of communication, not understanding the work done and still seeing dirt on the area doesn't give any confidence that a quality work was perform and I feel that I just waste my money.

It went well. Great customer service , punctual and efficient.
