Description of Work: Bought a big deal for $149 premium gutter tune up cleaning with a $250 repair credit. They didn't show up for an appointment on Monday. Did not return emails or phone calls after that missed date. Tried to change the price initially and said Angie's List posted the ad wrong.

Description of Work: We bought the big deal and should't have. I expected this to be cheaper. Came out and gave us an estimate for $2500. Was way more than we wanted to spend or were expecting. I have not done any shopping so I am not sure if this is totally unreasonable but it seemed high to me.

Description of Work: This transaction is being handled by your complaints department. This business HAS NOT refunded my 50% deposit of $1150.00 like they said they would do. I've been waiting for MONTHS for my deposit to be returned. This business is not honest or trustworthy.

Description of Work: I called and e-mailed several times asking for an estimated time when they would arrive and was told the schedule was posted the night before and I would be notified then. I received an e-mail the night before stating a technician would arrive on the next day without a time stated. They arrived at my home without acknowledging themselves. I heard noise outside and looked out my window to see a ladder being place against my home. I opened my door and a tech said "Hi". I had paid for in interior inspection of my attic to be done as well, which was never done. The tech told me the roof and the chimney was in perfect condition. I know this not to be true, as the company who did the fire place inspection advised the cap on the chimney need to be fixed (I saw a picture), I will not use this company again. I paid 149.00 for 99.00 of service.

Description of Work: I scheduled the work to be done on the 24th and received an email from them confirming the date. They were no-shows and I wasted the whole day waiting for them. They have not phoned/emailed me with any explanation and phoning them results in dropping into their voice messaging.

Description of Work: They did a good job once they came out, but there were several scheduling issues. However, they were very cooperative and even offered me a free gutter cleaning to make up for the trouble.

Description of Work: Gutter Cleaning. All seemed to go well. Only complaint (and only a small one) was that they were pretty booked, and it took a couple weeks longer to schedule the service than I would have preferred.

Description of Work: Bought the $99 for $300 of masonry service. Did not use because ---They cancelled the date three times to do a bid. They finally made it the day after the 30 days were up for the Angie's List 30 day guarantee (I learned about this policy after the fact. Should check reviews first since they did this to others also.) Then I received a bid that was the wrong sq. footage and VERY high compared to others in my neighborhood paid for this service. When I sent an email immediately that night to have questions such as the sq. footage and asking for an outline of the specified work, I received an email the next day not addressing the questions, but saying that they were getting a new mason. Two months later I received a phone call saying they had one and to please call for an appointment. This was a proactive purchase in March before I got written up for a HOA inspection. We only have 30 days to address these type of issues, so I ended up doing it myself despite health problems. Three months is too long and I asked for a refund from Angie's. I had to use it for another purchase instead. Now I know to cancel before the 30 days. Not blaming Angie's for my lack of knowledge of policy, but they at least let me convert to another deal.

Description of Work: Supposedly performed gutter cleaning. Contractor was sick the day it was originally scheduled. The rescheduled date was a day I could not be at home. While they left a business card in the door, I have no idea if they came or not. A follow-up phone call to verify what they found in the gutters or if I needed any other work was never returned.
