Quite easy to schedule the service. Rick and Colin were professional, courteous, and helpful from beginning to end. For example, I was diagnosed with asthma recently and Rick had great suggestions on how to remember to regularly change the furnace filter. Excellent, excellent service!

After purchasing the and quot;Big Dealand quot; IAQ called the next day to set up an appt. They were late showing up, but called ahead of time to explain why, and gave me the option to reschedule. The techs that showed up were wonderful! Friendly, helpful, and professional. They described what they were doing and why. They asked if I needed my dryer vent cleaned and proposed a discounted price for that service which I accepted. They made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. They asked me to check out the work before they left. This was a great experience.

I had some special filters added to keep my air clean and he walked me through how to clean the filterand mdash;which is pretty complex. It's hard to get to and it's a pain to dissemble and clean everything by hand, but he's patient and receptive with me and walked me through it step by step. He came out afterwards and made sure that everything was put back in correctly. He said from now on he would do it for me if I wanted.

The technicians described what they were going to do, and very quietly and efficiently did the work. They repaired the return supply duct. But, because another company that installed the furnaced in 2009 did not install proper supports, IAQ Medics could not give me a service contract. The technician explained in great detail the situation with the furnace mounts. He further informed me that the UV light should also be replaced annually and will call me with replacement information. They gave me an estimate to correct the furnace supports, but did not strong arm me into doing it. He, in fact, agreed that a different repair could work. I was very imressed with their professionalism.

After an initial scheduling conflict, IAQ was able to come out to the house to clean our home ventilation system. The workers did a great job during the service - we were very satisfied. My only recommendation is that they could have better anticipated the potential for a mess from one of the vents that did not have a vent cover. Overall, that was a minor issue. However, I would like to emphasize that the two gentlemen that came to the house were very professional and courteous. They were extremely personable and hardworking: almost what you expect from a nephew or son. I liked them very much and would recommend them and the company. They were able to discharge a tremendous amount of dust and dirt build-up from our vents that had been accumulating for decades.

They were excellent. I have been using him since before he started this company and he always does a nice job.

After IAQ Medics repaired our 15 years old AC and Furnace numerous times (because we requested it), we finally followed their advice to replace both. IAQ Medics credited us all repair cost we had spent this year already (can you believe that?) and did an outstanding job installling the new systems. They are not only very responsive but also very skilled, reliable, fair........ and last but not least willing to go the and quot;extra mileand quot;. This is not only a company which delivers the services you want, these guys are also very skilled and flexible consultants when it comes to AC and Heating (did not test anything else). As a and quot;critical Germanand quot; I can recommend this young company without any hesitance to anybody. We certainly will rely on their help in the future as well.These are the type of people which make the United States of America competitive in a global economy. I wish there are many more of those. Wondefully, I have not complaints. Would recommend IAD Medics to anyone looking for a good HVAC company. Dario and his crew are prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable.

My husband and I could not be happier with the work IAQ Medics performed to design and install Air Conditioning in our big, old house. We moved into our 1925 home during the unusually hot last summer, with only loud and dripping window units to help us try to keep cool in limited spaces. Thanks to IAQ Medics, we now have a well planned, highly efficient, three zone Air Conditioning system that will truly improve the quality of our lives over the upcoming summer months, and for years to come. IAQ Medics worked long hours, traveling each day from Dumfries, VA to Washington, D.C. to complete the job on our entire house in just one week. They showed respect for our home by keeping dust from cutting through plaster and floors to a minimum. They kept us up to date each day on their progress and consulted with us at each turn about the placement of vents in relation to future floorplans. They went above and beyond by sealing every seam, to prevent air from being lost through openings where ducting connects, and they installed main duct plenums at the air handler with canvas connectors to eliminate vibration and noise. My husband remarked that the quality of work from Dario, Rick, and Cameron was as good as if they were working on their own house. These three are highly professional, very smart, incredibly hardworking - and really nice guys to talk and go over ideas with. We have already scheduled to have IAQ Medics back to complete the heating portion of our system, which will result in heat to our basement for the first time and incorporating our radiator heat into the zoning system now in place. We are so excited to keep cool and comfortable in our own home this summer. My husband and I have already and will continue to recommend IAQ Medics to friends and neighbors.

In my experience, you generally find 3 types of people in the services industry. The first kind, genuinely want to help you...but have no clue on what they're talking about. The second kind, legitimately know a great deal about their trade (product, service, installation...etc), but they could care less if you understand them or not. They're there to do a job and don't explain or interact with the customers at all (arrogant jerks). Then there's the third kind. The rarest kind. Like Dario. Not only are they subject matter experts, they WANT their customers to understand how things work and why they are doing steps A, B, C and D. As a testament to another reviewer, I too now know more about HVAC systems then I ever thought I would. But I WANT to. I am an educated consumer who has been told THAT I am spending and quot;X dollarsand quot; on a particular issue, but I also want to know WHY I am spending and quot;X dollarsand quot; on that issue. This not only provides me a better understanding of how things work and how not to screw up my new equipment, but it also prevents me from getting taken advantage of by less scrupulous contractors in the future. I cannot say enough positive things about Dario. He is professional. He is an expert. He is honest. Integrity, with it...nothing else matters. Without it...nothing else matters. - Alan Simpson

The most recent service involved having my thermostat moved and a check of my HVAC. Upon completion, I signed up for a quarterly commercial maintenance agreement to ensure my HVAC runs smoothly.
