Dario arrived on time for an estimate. He explained everything and provided several options that met my needs and also explained the differences in the equipment and the energy efficiency of each. He provided everything in writing. Once I called him to go ahead with his estimates he arranged for one of his office staff to call to set up installation. She explained the duct cleaning would be done first followed by the removal and replacement on another day. On the day of the duct cleaning the techs arrived on time, explained the process, placed covers to protect the carpeting and performed their work. They were friendly, knowledgable and efficient. After finishing, they cleaned everything up and made sure the existing heating was working. 2 days later the techs (one of the same as the earlier work) arrived on schedule. They explained the process and approx time it would take to complete, Once again the carpets were covered before starting. The techs were friendly, knowledgable and worked well together. They answered any questions I had and answered in language that I could understand. The removal and replacement with a new American Standard 17 Sear Heat Pump and furnace took most of the day. Even though they ran into a little difficulty getting the humidifier installed they worked together and got the issue resolved. Before leaving one tech cleaned up while the other explained the equipment, the filter, the service agreement program, the new thermostat and help me program the thermostat for my needs. Twice a year one of the techs will be coming to maintain the new system under a service contract. Overall I am extremely thrilled with not only my new HVAC system but also everyone from IAQ Medics. I would not hesitate to recommend them. I've already decided when it is time to replace my existing electric hot water heater I will be calling IAQ Medics.

I don't have enough superlatives for the awesome experience with the provider and especially technician. I saw the deal for annual maintenance plan, but the deal on Angies List did not have specifics on what is included in the maintenance plan. I called up the company and the lady over the phone clearly explained what is included in the service plan. I signed up for the annual maintenance plan (fall and spring tuneup, cleaning). I scheduled the service for 8-10am and the technician arrived at 9:40am. His name is Mark and right from meet and greet to end of the service, it was the best experience I ever had with service provider of any kind. He inspected the furnace and performed all required cleaning. I asked him tons of questions about what things are being cleaned and about the overall system itself. He was diligent and professional with his response. He tested the temperature of the air from the furnace at couple of points and he looked at dampers and advised the right way to adjust the dampers. He also ran all the built in tests, including functioning of the humidifier. He advised replacing humidifier pad (though he did not have it on stock with him, he promised to get back when he will bring it over). I heard some squeaky noise when he was performing the service and I asked him what it was. It turned out that it was coming from loose dampers. Also, prior to him coming over, I was hearing big bang sound when the fan turns off. As soon as he arrived, he asked me if I have any specific concerns. I told him about the big bang sound that I hear periodically when the fan shuts off. He diagnosed it and said that it was due to duct expanding and contracting due to forced air and he explained what would be causing it and said it is not a furnace issue. Actually I signed the contract at home during his visit. He explained couple of options for maintenance plan and since my system is reasonably newer, he was very honest about recommending the right plan which costs lower. I really really appreciate the honesty and I hope this is entire company's DNA. I can only say my experience with Indoor Air Quality Medics is awesome and Mark is even more awesome. I really want Mark to come over again for Spring tune up. I don't think any other HVAC company can match this service quality and price. I am happy that I chose IAQ medics. We received 2 quotes for this same service. IAQ medics were cheaper and from Angie's list reviews we went with them. Boy were we grateful!! From beginning to end Dario and his whole crew were responsive and pleasant to work with. The work was done in a timely fashion and the techs, and office staff were just as professional. I even had a follow up call with heating needs about a week after the original work was completed for a different issue. It was after business hours, and Dario was responsive and came out and fixed our issue quickly. Not only did we find a great and local HVAC company but we saved money too!! Win, win!! I would highly recommend them!!

I purchased an Angie's List coupon for a water heater cleaning and inspection. When the technicians came out and did the cleaning, we talked about some of the problems I'd been having with my water heater (the pilot light had started going out frequently) and the pros and cons of repairing a 20 year old water heater. They also gave me an estimate for a replacement water heater. After a few days thinking about it, I decided to go ahead and replace the it with a new unit. A few days later, Mark & Mike came out and installed the new water heater and made other improvements to bring things up to code. They arrived on time, where very courteous and profession, and did a nice job overall. After a day or so, we noticed that the hot water pressure was lower than it had been before the replacement and sent an email to IAQ. Dario came out himself, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (it was a water intake valve that hadn't been fully opened). Overall, I was very happy with the job that they did and with Dario's responsiveness when we reported something was a bit off. I would use IAQ Medics again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone who needs a new water heater or service on their existing unit.

The filter was changed and the inspection was completed. He took time and was very thorough. I have been in this house for ten years and other companies I have had have never done such a thorough inspection. I have recommended IAQ to other friends and neighbors. I am completely satisfied with the professionalism and service provided by IAQ.

Dario came for a consultation and was very knowledgeable about HVAC and gave me a thorough explanation of my system and how it worked and what products and services his firm offers. He explained everything to me and then followed up with a quote. I hired the firm to replace my HVAC and they did an excellent job.

It went well at first. Mark came in and discussed the process. He was very knowledgeable and asked me what else I wanted to done. Very personable and professional. Asked him to assess my HVAC and mark levers for summer and winter. He pointed out some things about my system that currently wasn't set up correctly with the drainage emergency cut off. They cleaned my dryer vent and told me there was lots of lint and a birds nest that was found and recommended a bird cage around the vent. I really appreciated him and the team finding these little things and taking care of it. I signed the paperwork and they left. I felt like a satisfied customer. I had an overall great experience and was planning to give them an A but found they did not clean up after themselves. An hour later I went outside of my house to pick up some mail and saw on my lawn and my neighbors lawn all the dryer lint and the bird nest laying right there in the grass. I thought it was just some a little bit of lint but I turn the corner of my house and it was covered with lint. My neighbor's kids were playing outside and you can understand how embarrassing this may be. I immediately cleaned it up myself with a rake, leaf blower, and my shop vac. It took me an hour to clean it all up. I called the owner and talked to Stephanie and she apologized. She stated this is not normal practice and they usually clean up. They are training a new staff member and there might have been some disconnect. Stephanie is offering me a free service contract for this mishap which I appreciate and am considering. For dryer vent cleaning please double check their work so you don't have the same experience I had. Talking to Stephanie though you can tell she prides herself in this company and is willing to make it right which I appreciated.

Came for regular service on the furnace/AC system they installed for us last year. We were very happy with that installation and continue to be pleased with their follow-through on the system. They found the problem with an old humidistat while ensuring the system was prepped for winter. They had a replacement part in their truck and were able to fix it on the spot, which was very convenient for us. Everyone has been great and personable.

Technician arrived within the specified time frame. When delayed by traffic, he called and said he would be a little late. In Northern VA, this is a normal occurrence but it was great to be told he was on his way. He did the entire check of my home HVAC system, cleaned everything, put it all back together and then heard a noise/rattle coming from the valve. He took it apart again and decided he would have to replace the valve. He told me he would have to come back, but that the part was covered under my extended warranty. As he was putting everything back together, he called the replacement parts company to get the part number. He realized he had the part in his truck and proceeded to replace the valve - even though it was late in the day and he had to take the furnace apart again. I would highly recommend using this company on anything to do with Healthy home or heating and air condicitioning. The technicians are always prompt, accurate and courteous.

They were great. The price was great, very competitive and very good.

IAQ came and initially explained everything that they were going to be doing during the day. They were very cordial and patient, giving us great detail when we continued to ask a number of questions we had, which included areas in other parts of the house where we sought advice as to what we could do to improve our cooling/heating situation for the size house we have. They worked completely around our schedule, which caused them to have to come and go a few times over the two day install period. We used their 0% 18 month financing plan (as they work with Wells Fargo to do such a deal) in order for us to be able to pay for the equipment and services. They used highly rated furnace, A/C, humidifier equipment (American Standard and Aprilaire 800) as I looked online to read about them before the install would occur. The price for the equipment was of course more expensive than if I purchased directly online, but then of course that's because of the labor and expertise involved in having them set it up and having it installed. They had to cut through the drywall in a couple places to get the humidifier electrical cabling through the studs and while they put the drywall back in, we had to spackle up the wall to hide their work afterwords. They did a great job of showing how everything worked afterwards and what to do to try to figure out what would be best for our particular household over time (they left it in a setting that is normally preferred by most people, but every person is different) The installation job itself looked to be very well done and professional as our previous furnace and A/C appeared to have been installed somewhat shoddy, especially in comparison to IAQ who left things looking great with good connections and seals and everything was left neat and tidy. Our house is large (~7,000 sq. feet including the finished basement) and hence required a larger furnace and A/C unit, but the new furnace and A/C in conjunction with the humidifier has already felt like a huge improvement in just the last few days. It's not nearly as loud and perhaps in part because of the humidifier, our bedroom and bathroom feel so much more comfortable than before (it seemed as though our old furnace and A/C system couldn't get our remote master bedroom and bathroom to make a difference no matter what we did so we'd freeze and have to use portable heaters to keep us from icing over) We'll see if it stays that way as the winter approaches... fingers crossed. With all this being said, IAQ can definitely be recommended, just don't be surprised by the cost, which was our only real initial hesitancy in proceeding (and as already stated, we had to finance to afford)

Rick and his assistant were first class. They worked quickly and competently and also were very responsive to any questions I had. There was no pressure for any other services. They were polite and even wore covers for their shoes. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone looking for this service.

I purchased this Big Deal as a gift for my daughter's home due to my concern about my grandchildren's frequent colds and viruses. Service folks arrived on time and were extremely courteous, thorough and helpful, pointing out features of the heating and cooling system of which we were unaware. I was impressed by their thoroughness and professionalism. Would definitely recommend them to friends and would use their services again. I plan to call them this year for service to my own home.

I was very happy with the service I received from IAQ Medics. It was my first time using them and was not only pleased with the work required, but in the time Dario took to discuss my water heater and answer my questions about other issues in my home (e.g., duct work, heating/cooling, etc.). He made suggestions and gave approximate costs and labor time to give me an idea of what to expect if I wanted to move forward. He told me things other heating and cooling companies had not. I wish I had know about this company before!

Dario and his team did an excellent and meticulous job of installing new systems. They were prompt and ensured that the job was completed in a single day, by assigning extra crew members. Extremely neat installation.

Thanks to my neighbor, Daro is our tech for life as long as we own a home. Daro is extremely smart and very detailed on the work he does. He even makes some so called AC/HEATING professionals seem like amateurs. Daro inspected my two AC/Heating units and found poor craftsmanship on both units. There were even water dripping from a pipe which was done because poor install. There is no misunderstanding with Daro. Even though I have no clue when it comes to AC and Heating units, but give me a week with Daro I bet I can at least get a 70% on the NATE exam. I have peace and comfort knowing what to do to keep my AC and Heat working. The price is defiantly fair especially when you get high class customer service. As the owner, Dario's leadership is being mirrored by his technicians according to the reviews. Thank you IAQ Medics for a job well done!! I can't wait for end of fall inspection. Simple the BEST AC/Heating Service in Northern Virginia!!!!
