Terrific job. On time as scheduled. Polite and competent. Good instruction on unit operation after installation.

Dario Compain offered to meet with me the same day I contacted them for an estimate because in my request I mentioned my elderly mom was having a difficult time with the heat and we'd had no air conditioning. He seemed genuinely concerned and provided portable units while we waited for installation, which was less than a week later. I asked for and recieved multiple estimates from IAQ,.as.I needed to assess my various options available; complete system, repair of old systems or some variation of repair/replacement. To be frank, Dario is a good.salesman, but he wasnt cheesy, and I didnt feel.like he was playing me. He knows his job and he gave thorough and intelligent explanations for all my questions, which were many. Dario provided multiple incentives for me to choose the complete installation and in the end the value of those incentives nearly made up for the difference in cost between the complete and a less expensive option. Things like extended parts and service warranties and upgrades in features and service helped me feel good about such a huge investment in my home. As far as the actual installation was concerned I couldn't be more pleased. The two technicians worked the entire day. It was a huge job. 8:30 am til 6:30 pm but they were quite, polite, and completely unobtrusive. After the install one tech walked me step by step through operation, settings and details. There was one small issue with a faulty condensate pump that would require a tech to come out again and I was so pleased that they took care of that the very next day. I LOVE the new system and of course it works great. I'm satisfied with the whole experience. IAQ is going to be providing seasonal tune ups, air filter replacement and anything else we need for the next 10 years.

IAQ Medics sent a guy out later in the evening which I was very grateful for (no one wants to wait on an issue). He informed me my refrigerant was low and would charge $160 to refill it. I asked does this solve the issue with the freezing and he said no but it would remedy the situation. He informed me I had a bad coil and it would be costly and I would have an 8-10 day wait. I told him I would much rather fix the problem instead of band-aid it. He took a look at the AC unit in my attic and then noticed that my fan was not functioning properly. We determined the fan motor needed replaced and not the coil, which would have cost a lot more. The part was under warranty and a day later the item was replaced. Shortly after that I had a strange sound coming from the AC unit in my attic. I contacted IAQ Medic again and they sent another guy out to troubleshoot. He informed me some screws were not properly fastened during the install and fixed the problem. No charge.

Both the man that came out to do the inspection and the maintenance were professional and courteous. They took the time to explain the system and all of the maintenance recommendations they were making. While performing the maintenance, the 10 year old furnace blower motor quit working. The technician was able to get a replacement and install it on the same day, working until well after 5:00 to get it done. The prices seemed a little on the high side based on what I have seen elsewhere, but their superior service more than made up for it.

The installation went very smoothly. The crew was very quiet and they cleaned up. The installation took about 12 hours. I could not be happier with our new HVAC and the service we received from IAQ Medics. We will definitely be using them in the future for routine maintence.

It was a completely positive experience. Dario Compain, Indoor Air Quality Medics, arrived on time to do the estimate, made a detailed assessment of the work to be performed, and provided me an accurate estimate of the cost. The price quoted included a duct cleaning and a year of maintenance for both systems. I was very impressed by Dario's knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy throughout the entire process. Dario led the IAQ Medics team doing the installation and performed at lot of the work himself. All of the work by the team was professional and performed within the promised schedule. I watched almost the entire process, and I was impressed by the quality of their work and attention to detail. The installation team welcomed my observation encouraging and answering my questions about the process and systems they were installing. It took the team three long days to do the removal of the old systems and installation of the new ones (finished on 5/29/2015). They spent about a day on each zone, and they managed the process so we always had a functioning furnace/air conditioning system to keep the house at a comfortable temperature. The last day included a cleaning of all of the duct work in the house, so the new systems started in the cleanest state as possible. Upon completion of the installation, Dario walked me through the operation of the new computerized controls for the systems and the paperwork and manuals that came with the systems. The result is two new HVAC systems that are amazingly quiet, and a new business relationship with a HVAC maintenance and installation team that I plan to keep. The Indoor Air Quality Medics team is outstanding, and I strongly recommend them to everyone as the company to use for maintenance and replacement of heating and air conditioning systems.

He arrived right on time and put booties on his shoes, which is a big plus to my wife. He did a great job explaining the HVAC and how much longer it might last. He provided an estimate for a new system but was not pushy at all and answered all of my questions. Great experience!

Great. I had a tech sent by my home warranty company the day prior, who spent almost 4 hours trying to figure out why my AC wasn't working, to no avail. At the end, he said they would have a second tech come out, but they couldn't say when. I turned to Angie's list and found IAQ Medics. They made an appt for the very next morning. Jonathan Tinker was my tech, and he figured out the problem in less than an hour, and performed a temporary fix do my AC would work while I deal with getting a part replaced by the original company. If it were a little less expensive, I would just pay IAQ Medics out of my own pocket, they were that good. Their office staff are very nice and professional, unlike the other company. Worth the call!!!

Technician was on time, very professional, friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable. We had been using a different contractor because of requirements put on us by our home warranty, and they were AWFUL. When IAQ showed up, the technician got right to work and diagnosed the problem right away. He was well-prepared and had all the necessary parts. The part was cheap, but so was the labor (at least compared to the other contractor we had been forced to use). The work was outstanding, and very thorough. He inspected all components, from the condenser unit and its blown capacitor, the dampers in the ducts, the coil, the thermostat and vents, and topped off the refrigerant. We were so impressed with the entire experience, we signed up for their maintenance contract which includes two check-ups each year. The technician even used this visit as the first check-up of the contract and performed all of the necessary work. We cannot recommend IAQ highly enough. Our only regret is the money we wasted on the other contractor because of the requirements placed on us by our home warranty. We even tipped the guy. We would have tipped him more if we had more cash on hand at the time. USE THESE GUYS!

First, the appointment was supposed to be on Thursday with an arrival time between noon and 2. At 1:30, I called to ask if they were on their way, and they were not. Running late by at least half an hour, but really didn't know because the technician hadn't left the previous job yet. So we had to reschedule, because I needed to get back to work. I understand delays happen, but if I hadn't called, I would have just been sitting there waiting forever. On the re-schedule, when the technician showed up, he barely looked at the unit before saying there was essentially no way to do anything to fix it. He wanted us to install a new unit in the attic, but didn't even bother to take the time to look and see if there were other solutions. He never went to the areas of the house that weren't heating/cooling properly. He couldn't quite keep his stories straight, and when I asked him for a price on a new unit, without even looking at anything, even whether it would be possible to fit a new unit up into the attic, he just quoted $10,000. Seemed more like he was in a hurry to leave than in a hurry to try and be helpful. We might need a second unit, and he might have even gotten our business, but his attitude was such that I didn't feel comfortable giving him our business.

I found a quality company that charged me exactly $1000 less than I go from Arminco Air which is the way to go.

It is June 2, 2015, and they are installing my new system as I'm typing this review, they are very professional and courteous. I ask a lot of question and they answered everything. They use shoe covers and drop clothes to get the services done. Everything going great. I would recommend their services. Very Professional Company!!!

Originally called IAQ Medics for a service call when our A/C didn't kick on when the weather got warmer. The responsiveness was top-rate via my Angie's List inquiry and they were able to fit us into their schedule very quickly. Joey arrived on time and was very efficient and explained the issues clearly after his evaluation. He did not try to sell diagnostic services that were not needed and was direct in recommending that it was more cost effective to replace our 11 yr old unit than to do additional diagnostic work and then costly repairs. The quote for a couple of options for a new heat pump was done on the spot and they were very patient and professional with our many follow-up inquiries on detailed product specifications and requests for changes to the original quote. They did not pressure us into a quick decision. We did price compare, and the prices quoted were very reasonable, particularly given that IAQ Medics use American Standard equipment which is highly rated for reliability. When we did make a decision to use IAQ Medics for the install, they found a way to quickly fit us into their schedule. On the day of install, Dario was very professional taking care in our home and obviously taking pride in his work. The job took all day and was complicated by our request to move the location of the heat pump which required running new lines, etc. Even with a dinner time finish, he took time explaining the new unit, thermostat, etc to us. He also answered some questions on how to help minimize any "hot spots" in the house given the limitations of our duct work and what other options we had. Our interactions with IAQ Medics were very positive. They are obviously knowledgeable and take customer service very seriously. We look forward to future interactions with IAQ Medics for maintenance checks and other services.

I could not be happier with the service I received. I purchased the yearly contract for service on AC and heating ($99) per unit after being recommended to the company from a facebook group. The tech, Dario took his time explaining the systems and how they work, what was needed and answered all the questions we had. You will not be disappointed. He was very knowledgeable. I am so happy we decided to go with this company. After working with a few other big name companies in the area and not satisfied so thankful we called IAQ!!

Scheduling was a breeze, They were very responsive via Angie's list messaging. The technician (Jon) arrived inside the timeframe provided. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised when Jon put on the little booties over his shoes. He was very polite and professional, he inspected our entire system. Explained everything he was looking at, what I should look for. We recently moved in and did not know how the system worked. I would have no problems recommending his team.

The technician was there on time. He was very methodical in carrying out the service call at the same time offering tips on how to keep the HVAC system operating optimally. Very punctual, knowledgeable staff. I will definitely work with this company again.

They're actually really good. They did what they said they would do. I compared some of the pricing and just had them out here and they did a good job. They know what they're doing.

He did a great job explaining my A/C system to me and was very respectful and patient. He provided me a reasonable quote for future services without being pushy.

The company rep arrived promptly and seemed to be very thorough in his inspection. He analyzed the problems and possible solutions. We were disappointed to learn about the findings that came from the inspection but the equipment is more than 12 years old. He was very professional in explaining the situation as was the previous rep in his review of the heating and humidifier situation. Working with them we came up with solutions that we found acceptable. In comparison to a previous visit from another company, we found this company to be willing to take the time to carefully explain options.

Mark and Brian were prompt at arriving in blocked time and were very professional. Installed hot water heater and reviewed equipment warranty with us. Very pleased. Definitely recommended!
