Indoor Air Quality Medics

I purchased a Deal for $59 to Inspect and do a Basic Cleaning for my HVAC Unit. However, my unit was not in working condition at the time therefore there wasn't much of inspecting that could go on from that point. The Basic cleaning didnt consist of much either except to flush the drain pipe a little at my request because I was concerned of a foul odor coming from there. That was the extent of the Cleaning and Inspection, so not much to it honestly. The company is extremely professional and the Ladies at the call center were super kind and spent a great deal of time answering all of my questions! They are a quality company but you will pay a pretty penny for their services!

The service technician was polite and knowledgeable and provided excellent service.

They did the work fine. I had no problems with the quality of the work. But I thought they charged me too much. It only took them about 20 minutes to do the work. They came when they said they would.

Everything went great. They called me 30 minutes before showing up and all maintenance (water heater and HVAC) was handled in an hour. The technician answered all my questions, was thorough and took care of things quickly. I'll be using them 2x a year for my HVAC maintenance.

We inquired about installation of a new, more energy efficient heating/ac unit and they provided all of the needed information, explaining the units thoroughly and also making recommendations as to changes which would make our system work properly (i.e.. creating an air return which had never been installed with the original unit) Work was done competently and without the typical "uhhh, we have a problem" which a lot of contractors seem to practice, identifying some problem to the homeowner as an excuse for why they can't perform the job as specified. They came in and did the job as described thoroughly and professionally. New system works beautifully, comfortably, quietly and efficiently (reduced our electric bills this summer)

I bought a big deal for this service. I was not very happy. I thought it was unlimited vents. They did downstairs, no problem, and they did the return vents upstairs. They did not do any of the other vents and they were accessible. The ones that were not accessible I did not worry about. I even took pictures. They are not coming back to my house, I am just going to pan them. The pricing was fine, that's why I took it, it was a deal. The deal would have been great if they did all the work. I did not bother to call them because I was too angry. I would not even call them and have them back in my house. They came out fine; it was great.

A small fire was ignited by the exterior unit. A rare capacitor explosion resulted in molten aluminum dripping onto dry leaves. Dario came as soon as possible since the AC was down in August. We talked about the options and chose to replace the entire system with a high efficiency heat pump. He provided personalized service as always. He selected a good team to do the installation. Dario fully explained the admin stuff (warranties etc) and the maintenance stuff. His team provided a good overview of system operation after installation. IAQ is great whether you are shopping for a new system or looking for a service contract or just a one time repair. Nice job!

We were worried that there was something major wrong with the AC and we were facing a large expense. So glad it was a simple problem.

Crew arrived promptly and explained the cleaning process. Work was done well and attention was paid to cleanliness of the work area. Work took a bit less time than the 2 hour estimate. No problems.

They came on time. were focused and professional. We asked them to vacuum out the dryer vent last minute and they added it no problem. They told us that they cleaned out a lot of dust/dirt which would likey improve the air quality in our home - totally believe them.

Joe and Jim did a most excellent and expeditious job. Most of my ducts were difficult to reach due to furnishings/items in the way; yet with their handy ladder and some gymnastic moves, all were cleaned. They were exceedingly professional and courteous, and mindful of cleaning up after themselves, too.

My AC stopped working (coil failure in old system) at the end of summer in 2014 in my condo unit. I waited to get it repaired until spring of 2015 after comparing the prices services from four providers. I chose IAQ Medics because they offered the best value, and a very competent and thorough consultation. I originally met with John who reviewed my system and discussed the options I had. Because of the age of my systems (over a decade for the furnace and 20 years for the AC), I chose to replace both at the same time, with a programmable thermostat, and with a new water drain line and float switch shut-off. The outside duct work and humidifier needed replacing as well. While my water heater was several years old, John did not push me to replace it because it was still working well. At no point did he try to sell me something that I did not need. In addition, he included a duct and dryer exhaust cleaning at no additional charge. The total cost was $7,395, which was lower than the other three companies I contacted for the same product / service. The technicians, Bryan and Mark, were prompt and professional, and they completed the entire job within one day, including the removal and reinstallation of my water heater (necessary because of the size and configuration of my utility room). They cleaned up everything fully and were very careful to protect my floor as they moved the equipment in and out of my unit. Two weeks later, Colin and Jim cleaned the ducts and dryer exhaust. They were also both very professional. The only issue that occurred was that the new coil had a defect which cause it to stop working after a few weeks. IAQ Medics sent technicians out immediately to address it. They ended up replacing the coil at no charge. The whole system works very well and runs quietly. I highly recommend IAQ Medics to anyone who needs work done on their heating or AC, as well as duct work, replacement and cleaning. They are very professional, prompt, thorough, courteous, and offer the best value.

They were good. They did the work and finished up very quickly. I was happy with the work they did. The only thing was the floor in my basement where they had the machinery had a lot of grit that was either pulled out of the ducts or might have been washed by their machinery. I cleaned it up. I would have preferred not to have to do that. It was a reasonable price. They were very good about responding. They showed up at the time they said they would. I thought they did a nice job. They were professional and thorough. I would recommend them.

Service was very professional. All vents were cleaned.

He gave me an estimate to replace the air conditioner and coils. Air conditioner was still running but not to capacity. I wanted a second opinion so I went through Costco and a provider they use. They also agreed the air conditioner should be replaced. I then had them do the work.

Its a small work but they are professional and on time; provided me additional recommendations and suggestion; will use them going forward.

It went terrible.....The entire experience was terrible, period!!!!!...too upsetting to explain.

IAQ is an amazing company. Dario came out within a couple of hours of my call to run a diagnostic. He was able to identify the issue very quickly and then helped me work through getting the necessary warranty coverage information. He also made sure the HVAC would be able to cool temporarily while the replacement parts arrived and then sent his technicians out quickly once the part arrived to get it installed and the system running again. We've had real horror stories dealing with other HVAC companies that don't show up when you call and put band-aids on the system without properly diagnosing the problem. IAQ is a breath of fresh air, and it is so very nice to finally find a company that takes pride in their work and really seems to care for their customers. Thank you, Dario and the IAQ team!

I contracted this service as a maintenance check up for my unit is working fine. I wasted my money for the guy was just after having me buy a service contract with his company. I don't even think he performed the work he was supposed to.
