Scheduled work well in advance. They canceled on me the morning of then expected me to wait a week to reschedule. Because of this I had to set back my move.

Excellent; my wife appreciated the shoe covers put on before entering the home.

It went very well. I was scheduled for a 9am - 11am window, but got a call from the company at 10am to let me know the technician was running late and might be an hour late. He showed up at about 11am, right at the end of the original window. Brandon, the technician, was very careful once inside the house, using booties at all times. As part of his inspection of the indoor AC unit, he noticed a kinked plastic tube in the condenser line and made an adjustment to straighten the line and hold it in place better. Removing the AC filter, he found it was clogged up fairly well and volunteered to hose it down outside (instead of telling me to do it later), which he did very carefully, telling me how to replace it properly after it dried out. He also checked the outdoor AC unit and gave me a rundown on its performance and some ways I could help keep the unit running more efficiently during the seasons. In the end, he went over the maintenance agreement details and made sure I understood them before he left. He finished up about 40 minutes after arriving. All in all, this was a very pleasant and professional encounter.

The technician checked my air conditioning for a system checkup. He was very profession. I have used the company in the past.

The experience was very good. I thought they went about it in a very efficient manner. We had two systems in the house so I paid them the same price for the second system so it was a total of $398.

The deal included tightening wires and cleaning the standard coil. The tech did not tighten any loose wires. Also, he used our garden hose to clean off the coil and nothing else which is not cleaning the coil. The tech said he could clean it for an additional charge. Also, tech never came into the house to inspect our returns which is part of the system. The tech said we had a leak and it couldn't be repaired. Another company repaired it in less than five minutes. Rip off!

The two person crew arrived a few minutes early, provided a very brief description of what they were going to do, and set to work. They were relatively fast and done in an hour or less. They did not provide photos or video or anything like that. Before leaving, the leader of the two brought me the paper to sign and I had to ask him to go over everything they did before I signed. I'm relatively certain he was not planning to. He explained the process they used and casually mentioned cutting a hole in my HVAC. I nearly passed out and asked him to repeat. He said it again and assured me that he patched it up with a metal plate. I literally just bought this $8,000 HVAC a few months ago and was beyond shocked that they cut a hole in it without asking or even telling me first. Maybe this is normal for duct cleaning, maybe not. I don't know, is the point. I called my HVAC installer in a panic and they don't think my warranty is invalidated, but I intend to hold this company responsible if it is. I'm livid that they did this without giving me a chance to say no or ask questions as the owner of the equipment. I emailed my contact at the company later on once my shock wore off, to politely but firmly express my concerns. Zero reply and that was two weeks ago. I would never, ever trust them in house again.

We could not have been more pleased with the installation team from IAQ Medics. Chris and Kameron were at our home all day (and were joined late in the day by Troy). All of these technicians were extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They were more than willing to explain there procedures and did several ancillary tasks as a courtesy that would normally have cost extra (e.g. capped and old unrelated gas line, extended flue pipe runs from the furnace, replaced insulation on the line from compressor to fan unit). The installation included a new high tech (Internet connected) thermostat and a new humidifier. In addition to the expected installation, they included raising the compressor unit on risers over a new base, installing an emergency drain pan under the furnace unit in the basement with a float switch to cut off the unit in the unlikely event of a water leak, and a one year contract to provide twice yearly inspections. Finally, they did a thorough job of cleaning up the work areas at the end of the day and removed all the old components. In summary, we now have a completely new system with all the latest technology and at a very competitive price. We could not be more pleased with our new unit and the IAQ Medics personnel who recommended the system and did the installation. We give them our highest rating and recommend them without reservation.

After taking a look at our gas water heater, they walked us through the potential dangers of our current water heater system and exhaust. Before moving in, our inspector had also made a note of its potential dangers, so we decided to fulfill a long-term project goal and have Indoor Air Quality Medics install a new tankless water heater. Great job and the new water heater works great.

This was a big deal purchase was purchased on July 22, 2016. It would have been shortly after the purchase date that I used it. They did not charge any additional fees outside of the big deal purchase amount. The quality was a C, I was disappointed in what they did. I thought they were going to do a real inspection but, it was a visual look at kind of thing. They responded fine in scheduling it; as I said, I just wasn't thrilled with they did. I took less than a half hour for them to complete the inspection. They didn't do any work, he was fine with what he did. As I have stated, he didn't do anything; he just looked at it. I would not use them again. I would not recommend them to my friends.

This is an update to my earlier reviews. Recently, I posted a review with a D rating because I had not heard back from them about an air duct they missed. They finally contacted me and arranged to come and clean the vent. The technician was punctual and apologized. He did a good job of cleaning the missed vent.

I'm so thankful I met reps of this company at the Dulles Home Expo in Feb. I'm glad as a contract holder, I now have them on speed-dial if I have further problems. And the new system is so QUIET!!

They were really good and very helpful. They were very professional and they did the work fast. The pricing was good and I would recommend them to anyone.

We have an annual maintenance contract with them.
