Indoor Air Quality Medics

IAQ Medics are pros! I just purchased a home which was almost exactly 10 years old. This means that the AC units that the house came with were reaching their life span and our upstairs AC unit was leaking coolant. It was time for a replacement. I called IAQ Medics, and was able to schedule a free estimate the next day. After the all the paper work I had my new AC unit installed 2 days later, just in time for summer! IAQ Medics are fast, knowledgeable, and professional with reasonable pricing. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys!

It was great. During a phone call on Thursday we set up a service appointment for 11am - 1pm on Friday, the next day. IAQ emailed me later on Thursday to remind me of the service appointment and then again on Friday, before the technician came out (including his picture). On Friday, Jonathan called when he was on his way and arrived a few minutes before 11am. He immediately took out the old air filter and noticed it was filthy -- I hosed it off and replaced it a couple of hours later -- and then did a thorough check of the system, including taking cell-phone pictures of the main intake vent under the unit. It was really clogged and he suspected it was the main culprit behind the musty smell we were noticing. He explained the merits of keeping our vents and filters clean and suggested we set up a follow-on visit to clean out the vents. Jonathan was very polite, tidy and professional. He was done in about 45 minutes. All in all, a completely pleasant experience.

Dario and his crew were extremely professional, and I could not be happier with the quality of work he and his people provided. I was a little wary using IAQ medics because I was not sure if they were familiar with tankless water heaters, but in the end, they provided great service. The install was seamless. I'm two months in using my water heater, and it's been a DREAM to have. I spoke with seven different contractors for the work and got quotes from three. I went with IAQ because IAQ was the most professional in presentation, and they were able to match quotes. When they did the install, the guys showed up when they said they would, worked overtime to finish the job, and cleaned up to ensure that their presence was seamless. They also have a text messaging system that will tell you who your tech is and if they are on their way. I was blown away with their professionalism. Dario, the owner, was a BREEZE to work with. Hands down, IAQ was the best contractor I have worked with so far on my fixer upper, and trust me when I say I have run the gamut on services that we needed for my home. I would hire IAQ again for any job.

Owner came out and sat down with my husband and myself, was really able to answer our questions and show us exact pricing for each unit in his book (the only contractor of all the one we met with who was this organized). I liked that we could see the pricing for everything all laid out immediately, so there were no games with the pricing. When I called with additional questions later (based on something another contractor had mentioned during another estimate) - the owner called me back personally and was really great at explaining everything to my satisfaction. Overall, they did a great job and the system they recommended is doing a great job so far!

The process was handled professionally from the system quote through installation. I was pleased with the amount of detail that the provider was willing to provide and the time taken to provide a thorough overview of the scope of the work (I had solicited several quotes and this one was presented in a far superior manner). Based on my experience with IAQM I have moved all my HVAC maintenance to them.

It’s rare to experience the combination of knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, and simple pleasantness and courtesy all at a competitive price. But that’s what we got from IAQ. Troy proposed simple, automated solutions to our zone and damper issues where other companies either overlooked the issue or wanted to do major construction. Scott and Drew in the office were quick to respond from the first visit to answering all of our dumb questions throughout the process. Chris, Joe and the other installers did a great job and left our HVAC room cleaner than when they arrived. They too answered all questions, went over the systems, what they would do, and showed us how everything was done and worked. IAQ makes effective use of technology and communications in their operations and product offerings. Highly recommended overall.

The damper was installed in a 10” duct with very little access. The technician, Brandon Thomas arrived on time, completed the work, cleaned up the site and made sure the damper worked properly.

Great value, service and tech! Called to offer an earlier appointment and notification of when they would arrive was very helpful. This company is very responsive and the tech was very professional and provided through service to my hot water tank. I will use this company again for many of their other services as needed.

My experience with Indoor Air Quality Medics was exceptional from the person answering the phone to the techs coming out and performing the work. I did my homework and received the best unit per Consumers Report and combined with IAQM, it has been an incredible experience. I have never dealt with such a professional and honest HVAC company before, and their prices were more competitive as well.

It was a great experience from estimate to completion of the job. We also hired them to carry out regular maintenance on our new equipment. Owner Dario Compain came punctually to give us an estimate with a price that was appropriate from the get go and showed great knowledge of AC/heat pump systems and installation norms. We also know the price was right because we asked for other three estimates from similar reputable companies for the same American Standard equipment, our chosen brand. Dario was excellent in giving us advice in picking the system specifications that gave the most bang for the buck and fit our needs. He showed genuine interest in trying to think what would be best for us, and not just his own interests which is the more normal state of affairs. Then the team of two installers, Messrs. Fox and Cardenale, who were a pleasure to work with, did a fantastic job installing the system in the time expected and patiently explaining the new AC/heat pump system features to us. They really demonstrated that their strong Angie's list reputation is well deserved. I would strongly recommend them based on our experience and I will be consulting them again in the fall to replace another old unit at another property of ours.

We love Brandon. He does a thorough job maintaining our hvac system and ensures we have the proper comfort zones in our house. He is always professional, punctual, and efficient. We paid for 2 filters for the year and maintaining our system both inside and outside.

Very well, as always. The AC tech, Jonathan, is always very helpful, prompt and courteous. He showed me how to separate a tricky accordion filter I had for our AC unit, which was not part of the scheduled service. He also always has helpful suggestions for improving our heating and AC airflow.

IAQ medics is very good about sending out reminders and even on the day of the service, I received a text with the photo of the assigned tech (great security feature) as well as his ETA to the house. Brandon was great about making sure he explained everything prior to working on the 2 HVAC units + water heater. Very professional and cleaned up everything after the job was completed. I highly recommend this company!

I meant to write a review earlier, but having had the system in place for a few months may give some extra perspective. First, I'm very happy with the system that was installed after using it for a few months so I am comfortable that the correct system for my home was suggested. As far as the sales/install process I could not have been happier. After asking a few questions while getting a quote from the company that was maintaining our system I received very brief answers which I didn't feel were adequate, Dario came by to look at the system and give us a quote and not only did he answer all of my questions fully, he was very detailed in the hows and why's about the system he recommended. About a week later the technicians came for the installation and they were polite, professional and efficient while doing an excellent job. I would highly recommend Indoor Air Quality Medics, and the fact that they are local and family owned means something to me as well.

They came out immediately and it was replaced in less than a week from out calling. They cleaned the air ducts for free!

I claimed an Angies List deal for a water heater flush and inspection at one of my rental properties. The price was very competitive, and the work done was satisfactory. My tenant reported hot water coming on much faster and hotter than previously. I even claimed another Angies List Deal for a whole house duct cleaning at another property due to my tenant's review of the work. However I am not pleased with the professionalism or responsiveness of the office staff. Since it was rental, I asked that my credit card be put on file so my tenant was not invoiced and that a copy of the invoice and report be sent to me via emaiI. After a few days I did not receive an email of the invoice nor a reply to my email confirming they were working it, yet my credit card was charged and I know the work was completed because my tenant was at the residence. It took 2 additional emails and 3 phone calls, but I finally received the invoice 16 days later. Ultimately they came through, but the office staff was snarky as we were ending the conversation by saying they would "send it over.....again". I confirmed receipt of the invoice as I am writing this review, and checked my records for any error on my part of potentially missing it or checking my junk e-mail folder... and nothing. I don't believe I was rude, but rather just direct in my ask to have them confirm my email address over the phone ...yet still the snarky comment. If I am in error, I will gladly retract or update this review. Work was satisfactory, but I would not recommend them unless you are planning to be home and monitoring your own appointment.

Every aspect of my interaction with IAQ Medics was excellent and I highly recommend them for HVAC system replacement. I obtained seven estimates (from Angie's List companies) to replace my 22 year old HVAC system (heat pump and air handler) and IAQ Medics was the best including price, product quality, responsiveness, professionalism, and service. IAQ Medics installs American Standard products specific to a customer's heating/cooling needs and not to sell the highest price system they can. They offered the best supplementary features (humidifier and air duct cleaning) too. Dario and his team are extremely professional and work to meet the highest customer service expectations. You need not look further than these reviews for proof of how good they really are including the fact that Dario responds to almost every post, which is indicative of the personal attention IAQ Medics gives its customers. They have my strongest recommendation.
