Finest Chimney Sweep and Masonry

Very well. I burn 3-5 cords of wood per year and it is essential that I have a clean flue to prevent chimney fires. Jamie was prompt, courteous and did a very professional job. Would definitely hire again next year.

Very professional. Good communication as to arrival and what work was going to be done. Jamie is a pleasure to work with. I've had him clean my dryer vents several times over the last few years. Will also be using him and his crew to fix some issues with a chimney. Highly recommend.

Jamie and his associate were prompt, clean, and efficient. Jamie inspected everything and let us know that there are other issues that need to be addressed. The work done so far is top-notch and he is coming back to complete the other repairs necessary.

Jaime responded to my call and came over to remove the bird as quickly as possible. He called on his way over to let me know that he was 30-40 minutes away, which was very courteous. He removed the bird and then released it, unharmed, back into its natural habitat. After the bird was removed, Jaime scheduled a time to come back to clean out the dryer vent and then install a bird guard to prevent this from happening again in the future. I was very happy with the service. I felt that Jaime and his crew were very professional in terms of showing me what they were doing every step of the way. I would have appreciated it if they had moved the dryer back to its original position in the laundry room, however, and he did charge me $15 more for the animal removal than he had quoted on the phone, but I felt that the quality of the service was so high that I probably would have paid him at least $15-20 extra anyway. I will definitely be calling if I need any services in the future! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Jaime and his crew are amazing! I was first impressed that Jaime called me back right away. He was able to come out the next day and provide a free estimate. I got 4 estimates total and his was not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Time will tell how everything holds up but it looks like they did a really great job. The mason expert has been doing masonry for 35 years! Jaime really knows his stuff. Don't let his youth fool you...he is passionate about the business and I was very impressed with his knowledge and his hard work ethic. He also appears to pay attention to detail and want to do an exceptional job. I highly recommend this business for your chimney masonry, cleaning and vent cleaning needs!

Jaime and his crew are very professional! They were punctual and accommodating with my schedule to accomplish the work. All debris was cleaned up and they were very careful inside my home to keep the mess to a minimum. Jaime explained all of the work being done and was extremely knowledgable. I would recommend Jaime and his crew to anyone and I will most certainly use them for any work I have done.

That one, no good. I did actually call them and complain about. They did not do what they promised, what was agreed and they did not get some of their payment because I contacted them and I was told that Angie's List will, company will take care of it. Finally, you know, I contacted them, they left it alone probably. I did get the refund back from that deal. They were here right about the time it was refunded. They were below average. I had a couple of occasions where I could not get a hold of them or they showed up without even contacting. I was getting home from work and noticed they were pulling over too without even calling. They should notify home owners, without permission you cannot just get on somebodies roof. There was a couple of situations I did not like the way they were talking back, you know, but everybody is, every individual is different, the company could be a little more professional. I would not use them in the future, I would not recommend. If I don't like it I don't recommend to anybody.

Repair went pretty much as planned, although it ended up being a much bigger job due to a cracked liner inside the chimney. The owner/boss of the operation is hard-working, conscientious, friendly, and straightforward. My minor gripe, the B for quality, is not a criticism of the boss, but more his workers, who left things messy and somewhat unfinished. It seemed like they wouldn't do a good job unless he was there to point out the shortfalls. As long as you're willing to speak up when things aren't right, I am confident that the firm will do whatever is needed. I am very happy, and would use them again.

It looks very nice. They were just a little expensive. They seemed just a little bit pricey. They were B+ in their quality but they were expensive.

They were polite and professional. They did the work quickly and cleaned up. I have just called them to look at our front brick steps and to possible to a new front walk.

The only drawback was it took 2 months to get them out to the house. I had to call them multiple times before everything was accomplished. Once at the house, things were great. Just stay on them.

We had some miscommunication regarding how my coupon would be applied to the total cost, but all ended without a problem. In comparison to other Angie's List services, I found this job to be priced much higher than I anticipated.

The original date of service was changed due to a scheduling error by the contractor. They were very apologetic and showed up promptly the next day. The work was done quickly and they kept the nearby area very clean. After the inspection, they gave me a written estimate for work that needed to be done to keep my chimney as safe as possible.

My house was built in 1935. When I bought the house the inspector said the chimney liner was cracked and needed relining. I recently saw an Angieslist special from FInest Chimney on a liner for $1.399, so I bought it. Jaime came for the initial inspection, discussed the need for the entire scope of work above. I agreed on the additional $2,051 to do the entire job (total came to $3,450). The work took a team of about three people three full days to complete. The work went well with a minimum of disruption. They cleaned up the worksite inside and outside each evening. The new chimney works great, just in time to have a fire for the holidays. Thank you Jamie!

I had a great experience with Jaime and his crew. They were very easy to work with, responsive, and fairly priced. I was very happy with the quality of the work and my roofer even commented on what a nice job they did on the chimney. I ended up booking a second job with the company shortly after the first to rebuild a buckling retaining wall.

Excellent job!!! He replaced broken, crumbling brick and matched both the brick color and existing mortar perfectly. I'm extremely happy with his workmanship. I highly recommend this contractor.

Everything went very well. Fortunately I had not attempted to use my fireplace before getting it checked and cleaned. There were several problems that the previous owner had neglected to repair. Now everything works well, and the fireplace looks much better! I am enjoying the benefits of having a safe wood-burning fireplace in my family room.

We are very happy with Jamie ! The chimney rebuild/re-point was the final repair we needed to get done for the sale of our townhouse in Reston (Glencourse Cluster). We had already moved out of the area so everything had to be done via phone, email and text and we have nothing but good things to say. Jamie was able to send us pictures, estimate, receipts, and photos of progress regularly and the whole job got done in 4 days or so. So, I would highly recommend Jamie...His estimate was very competitive, work was top notch, and all deadlines where easily met.

I compared his price with the price of 2 other companies and his was by far the best. He (Jaime) was very helpful and I felt he was honest. I would definitely use him again.
